The guy saw a brown or black person and assumed he was a muslim.....what is frustrating to me is jesus pbuh was not European....he was not them,he was Palestinian....jew. and like most of middle eastern people they had distinguished trait that are not European! Jesus pbuh was more like the one they despises, an aramaic jew from palestine.....and I wish they stop acting like they understand the words of God by interpreting them the way they understand it! Hebrew,aramaic are completely different languages than Greek! So people who spoke Greek just interpreted aramaic because culturally they obviously were not from that region or spoke that language!! Again reminder to European God in aramaic is ALLAHA, Eloh for hebrew and ALLAH for arabic...they r much more similar than God with big G or small g of the Greek translation....

It’s good to ask questions as a nominal Muslim. Don’t be afraid to ask. To understand the significance of Jesus’ claims, a person has to study the Old Testament or Torah which are the same books but ordered in a chronological way. Jesus is Yeshua, Isa, Immanuel (God with us). But Jesus is not the same as the one in the Quran. The God in the Quran is not the same as the God of Abraham, Isaac or Ishmael. Jesus was with God in the beginning of creation, the WORD of God created in the image of God. The tabernacle that contained the 10 commandments which were from God given to Moses had God’s presence. Jesus said that where 2 or more are gathered in His presence, there I AM also. ‘I AM’ is the who God said He was to Moses. when He told Moses to say to the Israelites who sent him. So you see, there is a significant amount of understanding of the text that needs to be studied. Works or good deeds are like dirty rags to God unless the word of God is on the hearts of man which is the new covenant that God promised. That covenant is in Jesus’s blood that was shed on the cross for our sins. He was the perfect lamb that Abraham believed that God would provide and again revealed in the book of Isaiah. The wages of sin is death of the spirit. Jesus carried the sin of the world and was resurrected on the third day. He had the Holy Spirit upon Him. Whoever believes that Jesus is Lord of lords and King of kings, saviour and redeemer of your soul, will receive forgiveness from repentance and the living spirit which is Holy will be upon the person. Jesus was in the line of King David carried down from Abraham’s seed Issac promised in the Old Testament. Born from an unwed virgin. Jesus was not born or created from the natural or normal way that babies are conceived. God created man, not the other way round as He did Adam and Eve in the beginning. Why God required the sacrifice is not clear but we know that He is Holy and just. Without Jesus’ resurrection, there would be no Christianity. This is crucial to the faith. The fulfilled promise to Abraham that he would be the father of many nations, countless as the stars. God is also loving and Jesus gave His life willingly. He said that there is no greater love than to lay down your life for another. God commands to love Him with all your heart, mind and strength, the second is to love your neighbour as yourself. Thy shall not kill, covet another’s possessions, wife, not bear false witness, not steal, and to keep the sabbath day Holy. Jesus made further claims that sets the standard higher and He fulfilled all of it. These are all the fruit of the spirit which is a gift. Forgive one another as God forgave you. Love your enemies, patience, endurance. What is impossible for man is possible with God. God will perfect the believer until the return of Jesus Christ. He is the potter and we are the clay. The clay does not know what the work of the potter does and neither do we know God. Only Jesus knows the Father and the Father knows Jesus. They are ONE. Jesus represents God in what He says and does and this is how we come to know God’s nature. Like we as humans are made in the image of God, we have a voice, a soul and heart, so this gives a person a personality. We are not just a being but a person. Likewise God, however God is almighty, all knowing and greater. He is who He says He is and that’s what we rely on. His WORD. They are ONE. God cannot lie. He cannot be just and loving while we are in sin. This is why He sent Jesus, our saviour from eternal death.
