Cody said he was in 'Flow state' in his fight against Dominick. The only way I can describe it is like being in a state of mind where you are fully relaxed, focused and in control. He felt like he could dodge all of Dom's punches and counter with ease.

Nobody talks about Cruz's chin, it's so epic how he can survive a puncher like Garbrandt without problems.

Cody's performance against Cruz was one of the best displays of MMA out there. His first fight with TJ wasn't awful either up until he lost. Then he gets emotional in the rematch and can't stay composed and then gets too eager and desperate to win a fight against his next opponent that he does the same thing. I think some time off to recollect himself and learn how to stay composed will allow him to go back to being a high level fighter

Cody had the potential to be a p4p great. Instead we got one of the most masterful performances in a championship fight to date, followed by immeasurable disappointment... (with the boys)

That Cruz vs Jorgeson and against DJ in those WEC days was so fun to watch! Chip on his shoulder something to prove mean and big for the weight at the time but so tactical technical fast and elusive. Watching him go unorthodox one two head kick leg kick straight left under hook knee pick was a thing of beauty. I don’t think anyone flowed better them him mixing a well rounded skill set together offensively like that. Simply because the guys that could like Jones and Gsp weren’t as fast but were bigger and more powerful but seeing him do it with his Manny like angles and speed then mix a shot in was fucking awesome!

Cody confuses me so much. In the Cruz fight, there was a performance of a potential GOAT, incredible accuracy, timing, power, speed, consistency and awareness. But now he had only one win since that win and he’s lost 4 out of 5 by knockout, it just makes no sense. But he has shown he can still get back on top, he just makes really dumb decisions.

Henry's run was unbelievable. Imagine the odds if somebody had told you prior to DJs defeat that Henry Cejudo (person that had lost before to DJ) would end DJ's champion streak (longest streak in UFC history), defeat TJ (Bantamweight Champ at the time) defeat Marlon ( who was on a 4 fight win streak with 1st round finishes) defeat Cruz (arguably one of the best Bantamweights ever) You would think he's Delusional. Odds of that would be 1,000,000/1

Cody without a doubt has to be the guy who has the biggest disparity in fight IQ. Still amazed watching him against Cruz, playing his own game like that.. yet still shocked watching him against TJ, acting so brash.

I don't care for the guy personally, but TJ's win over Barao has to be up at the top. Barao was undefeated at the time and was the heavy favorite in the fight. Flawless performance by Dillishaw.

Garbrandt's career reminds me of a Homeric hero whose entire life is determined by the whims of capricious and vindictive Gods, refracted through whatever dense network of factions and hidden alliances. He was favored by the Gods, then he went too far--he had to include the absurd Michael Jackson-like showboating in a fight that was already really a Perfect performance, even spite of the antics, ans all this against the GOAT and founding father of the entire Bantamweight, a GOAT arguably still in his prime at the time of the fight. To add humiliating taunts to a fight where he was already dominating the footwork, beating Dominick at his own game and making him look like a fool for a little bit-Garbrandt went too far, he wanted too much, tempted fate, and now he's no longer favored by the Gods. I mean Jesus he's been KOed every fight since winning the title, and he has been KOed in a completely different manner, as if this particular outcome-loss by knockout-of all the fights was common outcome preordained by the Gods, who then delegated the means of achieving the result to chance. It's not preparation he needs to worry about, he need to do something to get back in favor with the important Gods, and whatever this particular sacrifice turns out to be, you can bet your life it's accompanied by the slaughter of goat

The bantamweight championship is pretty weird. You have probably the greatest bantamweight of all time losing to Garbrandt wich is honestly a pretty overrated fighter. Drugged up dillashaw wins and gets beat by triple midget. Weird

In my opinion Dominick Cruz will always be the best bantamweight fighter there has been.
