When you see GK on Rey lineup, that's a straight no to SK counter, not even mentioning about extra annoyance from Cal

Very nice. I’ve not encountered a Rey comp with GK in it. It sounds very annoying. I’m just now getting baby Cal geared up so this might be a good comp for me next time 5v5 comes around. I don’t have Jedi Knight Cal so I like to use Bastilla in his place with that same comp and I like it quite a bit. Her ability block on basic is useful to be able to control the team while wiping out the LV teams with JML’s special lead ability (I’m going to miss my 98% protection datacron that expires in a couple of days :( ) Thanks for sharing!!

No doubt that Rey comp is a beast, but the problem with it is that it hurts other really good teams. As someone without all the GLs, I need as many good teams as I can get. If that means that a few teams are not quite as strong as they could be, so be it. Cere/Malicos/Cal is a top non-GL team both on offense and defense. It pretty much requires a GL to beat it on defense and can beat some GLs on offense. I used it regularly last season to beat LV. It may lose a little bit of viability with the expiration of the UFU datacrons, but should still be really good. And GK is important for JMK, Padme, or Jedi squads. Personally, I found the toughest Rey squad to beat was Rey/Ben/JTR/50RT/L3.

Can we get a 5 turn stun? Sounds like a good Han Voltron ability.

I love CAT (if you can spare her) and L3 instead of JTR and Kenobi. As someone without JMK she has never been one shot in A1

There is a more complex team I use with SEE to counter JMK that makes use of the armorer, WAT, Thrawn and SET. It's a pretty solid comp to most jmk squads as long as you have Thrawn and Armorer's speeds set up correctly

We need a video discussing deflection in depth. Mainly who does special dmg so what counters most likely will no longer working what teams will lots of deflection mess up?

Songeta just had to deal with a really nasty SLKR team the other day. Reva lead, GI, seventh sister, malicose, and SLKR. He tried Leia on it and wasn’t even close.

Honestly, you only need CUP to solo anything, but if you wish, JMK, Leia, SEE, and SLKR are good support units for him

I don't know about GK for the rey team, because it means giving up your best tank for JMK. If you dont have JMK, then fair enough, or if you're in 3v3 or otherwise have another decent option, then again i think thats fine. I do realise he is very irritating.

Playing mace as the lone tank with jmk on defense makes them extremely vulnerable to mirrors. All you have to do is open with the cooldown reduction on cat while targeting mace. Ahsoka clips him on the assist and the way his kit works he stops taunting and you're free to instakill their cat on your second turn. If you're faster, you can get away with preventing their instakill entirely. Also, just fyi, I've been disagreeing with you some lately, but it needs to be said that I love your channel. One of the best swgoh channels on RU-vid right now. If there wasn't some debate to be had it wouldn't be as much fun.

I've been doing rey with Ben, jtr, holdo, and barris. I think replacing holdo with cal as soon as my cal is ready. Been on the fence about whether or not they need a taunting tank, but I think cal makes up for it. With the stacking defensecron, they and my zorii didn't go down this whole season. Won me 3 for 3 this last round

Only think i wouod say is fo officer is essential, as if he goes just before hux you get 3 very hard slkr tirns right away

Would Moff Gideon not fit with Lord Vader? Empire, demoralized is a significant reduction in damage, an armor shred, ... every 4 'basics' an AoE daze,.. and the option to remove turn meter. (granted, might backfire if enemy is immune to it.. silly AI)

If you're going for best possible comp, wouldn't leia have kanan? I understand that cannibalizes phoenix, but it's been done with the inquisitors for lv

Thanks CA, I have tried different comps for Leia, I know Han & Chewie were a hot commodity, is Baze & Old Ben the best line up defensively or overall? Ive used Capn Rex & Chewpio & that does well for me too. 🤔 Ive also seen Mon Motha or Raddus in the line up too.

Another deadly rey team would be, rey,sor-t,l3,bariss, and ben solo.

When using cal under rey, does his optimal modding actually change, or is it still just low speed + health?

Haven‘t found a 5v5 rey comp normal full fo slkr can’t beat. Of course it’s always horrible banners but in 5v5 it always gets the job done. 3v3 can be tricky of course

Another super LV comp: LV, Traya, Nihilus, Savage and Maul - it can wreck you quite a bit in GAC

Is Malicos worth using on an SLKR team at all? I have yet to farm Cere or Cal Kestis yet, but I'll be unlocking Malicos soon and don't have a place to put him.

I disagree with the slkr squad u picked.. have u seen Reva lead, malacos, slkr, grand inquisitor and a fifth? Team is nuts! I think jabba is only known counter so far

I'm carbonite 1, 3.4m gp no GL. My enemy had 4.9m gp, rey and also starkiller and traya/savage, all with omis. I won (870 banners me, 854 banners him)

Question-For rey : what if I swap obi wan with barris (jmk team feels weak without him my mace is R5 and I feel oQGJ needs a tank to get value and it s where I have him placed. I geared barris from g12 to r3 maybe r5 soon specially for the rey team (instead of GK)

JMK, hey when using JMK on offense in a mirror match against himself, just give him the worst Republic tank you have at relic. The tan is going to die before his first turn anyway and you save Mace Windu for something else. I R3 relic'ed Plo Kloon just for his ship and this sacrifice.

Isn't the third sister/gi/7sister/malicos/slkr comp better? On defence it is able to hold both against leia and jmk and the only good way to counter it is using jabba, which most people throw at leia right now

If I don’t have JMK and do have CAT, is it worth putting her in Rey or should I be aiming for some sort of CATme? If Rey, what comp? No Ben yet. Soon.
