One of LEGO iconic original theme's is Bionicle. Since its cancelation Lego designers have found fun ways to put in Bionicle Easter Eggs. These references have appeared in many LEGO themes such as Ninjago, Monkey Kid, Friends and many more. So lets take a look at every reference LEGO has made!

totally agree. the only reason why they havent brought it back is becuse of 1. it would kinda compete against ninjago 2. lego dosent need a new theme since they are making money from their current themes 3.altough not jet known it possibly will use custom pieces. the only reson they would bring it back if ninjago will have less and less sales like bionicle g1 but otherwise i still wana see bionicle g3

It's crazy how they can sometimes reference a series they know people love and give it 0 support. I loved the GWP we got a while back, and wish they just did a few small sets here and there. My friend's kid loves bionicle, but would love to get new (meaning not second hand / used) sets. Even just like 2 a year would be amazing.

Right! I mean they do this with so many themes of dropping references and Easter eggs all the time. Now a big part of that is the designers for sure. At this point we just need a legacy theme and every year we get a few throw back sets.

It's my dream to have my kids able to go to the store and pick up a Bionicle canister off the shelves! What a time that would be. I guess I have a couple years before I reeeally hope LEGO brings it back 😅

There are SO MANY about which I had no idea! In some ways, I'm glad that LEGO still gives some attention to BIONICLE, but I'm certainly hungry for more attention in the form of a full theme or at least some "Legendary Reimaginations" or something like that! 🔥🔥

This is really interesting! I’ve been looking for more connections to and from Bionicle for my connected universe theory, and these are pretty good. Especially the Toa Canisters in lego Space, good find!

I would definitely say it’s top 3 that does. It is very iconic and definitely has the best lore Lego has ever done.

it may have discontinued but it will always live on even the LEGO Movie and LEGO Batman Movie made BIONICLE references/easter eggs

This video was great!, I may not know much about Bionical but still loved learning about these references!. Though there’s to things I feel the need to point out, 1: when you showed the 2024 friends mall and bioncial reference you used the 2020 mall set ( which is much worse then the new one ), also fun little reference but at 2:00 on that flight list there’s **HLC** which stands for Heart lake city from the friends line!. Great video Brad!, have a good one

YES, LEGO ICONS would be a perfect way to do this! Once a year for the next 5 years, or more depending on performance, would be ideal for me 😅😎

Here’s my theory for a potential Bionicle G3. In the Bionicle G2 Netflix show “journey to one” it is revealed in the last episode that the Masters / Toa are inter dimensional travelers; that it is eluded to that they are the original 6 Toa. With that being said, I theorize that these cameos that have been appearing are not Easter eggs, but Legos plan to expand the Bionicle lore to our universe (or at the very least) Lego city. I anticipate we will get a sort of Live action Transformers but in Bionicle form.

I love Lego original themes and Easter eggs to those themes. It was requested by some people and I thought it would be fun! Going to be doing more Easter egg videos soon

@@BrickingUpBrad Well id love to see more content on original Lego themes. As the Chima guy I always recommend looking into themes that don't get the love they deserve.
