@@robertsanders3503 - I owned and loved all three games. EX2 Plus was the best from a competitive standpoint, but all three got a lot of time invested into them by me and my friends.
@@bop2166 IDK what that's in reference to, but I kinda wrote it wrong! In Capcom's "Final Fight", there's a similar bonus stage, but a guy comes out to the car at the end- sobbing at his destroyed car and says "oh my God!" I always remembered it that he said "car" instead of God though!
That Bonus Car stage in the World Warrior Tournament was actually hosted by chief executive officer for Toyota North America named Jim Lentz and he rewards anyone $30,000 to see who can destroy one of his Toyotas. I won the money. ;-)
Hmmm interesting when was there a bonus stage with industrial barrels? Always thought street fighter two had only the car, brick wall and wooden barrels.
@@Bulls3ye86 So true. Till this I get confused which is which because I do remember playing Street Fighter 2 on an arcade machine back in the day and I remember when they ported the game to SNES. It was exactly the same where you had the wooden barrels as the bonus stage. Yeah who knows, which region this version of the game was released.
@@relentless4g63t dude, I grew up between arcades as my uncle had a parlor and The world warrior, champion edition and hyper fighting had the same bonus stages, as I said the one with the bricks is the SNES port.
Did you know the car smashing was originally gonna be an arcade cabinet you smashed to bits making quarters fly out but they didn't want to encourage that activity jk i made that up.
Was SF2 the only with Coop/Vs Bonus Stages? I remember loving them when playing with my brother and sister. It was a nice Break. I wish the Alpha Series had minigames since those games I played the most :/
I've never seen a competitor trying to impede you in the bonus stages of The World Warrior. Every other time I've seen it, one just has to do it alone, as fast as possible.
*That is Two P., one of the Mad Gear mooks in Final Fight. Bred also appears in SSFIV to lament about his broken car, only if you do Bonus Stage with Cody or Guy.*
@@gonzalotorres5282 Thanks! I haven't played much Final Fight, and probably expected it to not be Duck King, but damn, Capcom has been sneaking more and more of their references into Street Fighter. Hell, why wasn't the bonus stage is a beat em up?
****ing awesome video, bro. I completely forgot about the very existence of Street Fighter Alpha somehow. It was my favorite but I didn't play it much. That's probably why I forgot about it. I dropped a like. Keep up the good work, bro.
I remember reading Gamepro magazine and it talking about that first barrel stage when it was something new. Think they added it in the second release of 2 (tournament edition?). Of course in those days I was headed to Shelbyville so I could get an onion to wear on my belt, as that was the style at the time.
you forgot in super Street fighter 2 Turbo revival there's another Barrell bonus in this game in time attack mode or survival mode. Should've add the best part.
Remember the cartoon called Dan vs and one time there was a cross over of Dan vs and MLP when Pinkie Pie colored Dan's Black Car Pink and he got mad and said "My car!! Pink Dazzled, Pinkie Pie!!!
