please please PLEASE continue the lovelight farms series!!! its so good, the last book comes out this year and every couple is set on a season throughout the year, small town romance, a bunch of different tropes (second chance, grumpy x sunshine, fake dating) i think you would really like it

Happy New Years Steph!! If you’re still looking to get into romantasy this year girly I have to put you onto Powerless by Lauren Roberts. It’s definitely heavier on the romance and the tension and banter is so good! I also feel like you’d be an acotar girly aswell. It’s like fourth wing we’re people who don’t read fantasy can get into and absolutely love it. It looks daunting with the page no. but feels rlly fast. Wishing you the best this year♥️

I almost exclusively read fantasy related books, but out of everything I read in 2023 the Empirium trilogy by Claire Legrand was the absolute best thing I’ve ever read in my entire life. I will never shut up about those books and I’m so excited to finally own them soon

still haven't gotten around to these, i think in part bc i read mostly adult fantasy now and im not sure if YA is for me anymore, so any thoughts on how the tone was/if it falls victim to any stereotypical YA cliches ? idk i try not to judge bc being YA doesn't make a book any lesser, i just know i cant always get into the same way i used to

@@gracesull78756 I was honestly surprised that Empirium is YA. It was a lot more mature than most of the other stuff I’ve read, including the one adult fantasy book I read (Godkiller by Hannah Kaner). It didn’t feel juvenile or cliche to me and personally, if I could, I would change the age range to like 16+ instead of 12-18. Idk how old you are, but I read it at 24 and think it’s something adults would be able to enjoy regardless of it being YA. I hope that helps and if you do end up reading it, I sincerely hope you enjoy it ✨🩷

@@tinyprettymoon this is so helpful, thank you sm!! i'm 21 so not even that old lol but have drifted from YA a lot in the last few years, so ik myself and that i don't have the same patience to try a lot if i can tell it's not necessarily for me anymore. but def more willing when it comes to the standouts! think i've heard a lot of good things about empirium in the last few years already which is why i'd gotten the first one, but my memory is a little fuzzy. really appreciate your thoughts, thanks again! will have to put it on my list of series to get to soon :) tyy!

PLEASE add the Off Balance series by Lucia Franco to your TBR this year! It’s such a good series but you won’t find the physical book I’m any store only online and Kindle. Such a good series.. it just gets better and better!

I think am giving up on Ana Huang. Her books don't have deep characters and it's just smut. I think there isn't anything wrong with her writing. It's just not my style because I read books for their characterization, found family and good storytelling. And Ana Huang doesn't deliver that for me. Helen Hoang however is chef's kiss. I lovveddd The Heart Principle. I cried so much. The autism representation!! I want to read more of hers!! I know you and I have different tastes but I love watching her videos anyway because I love romance books.

because you asked for a couple with several books: the acotar series has three-ish books about the same couple. and if you want a really quick, cute but not too cringy ya series about the same couple I can definitely recommend the ruby red trilogy by kerstin gier

You HAVE to read simple wild it’s a such a good romance. Cinnamon roll boy and has a second book about the same couple. Read both and gave them both 5 starts which I never do with romance books!!
