Jevil and Spamton neo are tied for me, though im hyped for chapter 3 to release in like 5 years and blow them both out of the water

Of course Spamton Neo and Jevil were going to be on the top. They have some of the best levels of personality in the entire game, even when they don't show up for very long overall.

Honestly the hardest boss in both chapters is the basement elevator, my fucking god..... also sweet cap'n cakes, my bois deserve better like for at least 2 spots :(

chapter 2's bosses are way better than chapter 1's

Can't say I disagree spamton neo, both Queens and jevil are easily the best fights in deltarune. Chapter 2's bosses like the chapter as a whole for me blow chapter 1 out of the park. For me king is such great build up that is just ruined if you fight jevil. As nothing in chapter 1 comes close to the jester. Unlike spamton and Queen where the Queen is so unique and entertaining that spamton dosent invalidate her by coming before.

I just think that jevil feels like a much harder boss than spamton neo.

I actually died at the Sweet Capn Cakes boss fight lol. I played the game on release day so i don't know if they patched their boss fight or something, but i remember them having a REALLY long attack right at the end, like seriously it lasted like a freaking minute lol

I think that Berdly is my second favorite boss behind Queen. He's just such a fun character and his boss fights perfectly portray his personality--not to mention he's actually a decent challenge rather than the pushover I fully expected him to be. He's roughly tied with Spamton NEO imo.

Favorite part of Spamton is that Toby Fox made the glitch a part of the game instead of patching it like most people would have

Is it just me or is it weird that each installment in this series brings a lovable character that you (at first) don't take seriously, but then you encounter their secret boss and realize that your screwed?

Every fight is my favorite, since each fight has their own flare and "personalities" if you can say, no fight isn't really the same and even if they are they have their own twists, sure Lancer is fought twice and has the same attacks but he has new ones with Susie

Chaos King Boss theme is a absolute banger, and it's sad that it's so underrated :^(

What I love about Jevil is that it feels like he gives you almost no invincibility frames, his attacks aren’t always as hard to dodge as Spamton NEO’s, but he can combo you to death very quickly, especially with the Devilsknife attacks.

What I like about king is how he is not shown until the end of the chapter, since kings in chess tend to don’t move until they have to. What I like about queen is that she is everywhere in chapter 2, since queens can move many spaces in chess

Jevil is honestly my favorite fight in Delatrune and one of my favorites out of all the games (Undertale included). The craziness of the projectiles topped with the music is amazing and his character is awesome as well. I was surprised when I beat him in two try’s (and Spamton NEO in one) but still it’s an amazing fight

You missed the true hardest boss fight of them all. The tea cup ride to get back from the basement. Also, I kinda felt dumb when I heard "This bosses are easy as pie" while I was getting my ass pied

great list! you popped up in my recs, wishing you the best with the algorithm gods! i will say though, i'm almost certain giga queen is programmed to get easier with repeated game overs. i have limited dexterity so my timing is terrible, and i died to her several times. she gradually got easier in ways i knew weren't just me improving. that could explain your gripe with it! very understandable gripe, but i gotta say i'm super grateful it's in the game haha

I feel like a portion of the Spamton hype came from, er, tumblr, so it’s really refreshing to see a well constructed option that favors Spamton based off of other aspects. ie, music, battle, lore. Great character.

I like Spamton better than jevil. Spamton was so fun while jevil felt like work.

Jevil and spamton/spamton neo. One has insanity, and another one has too much sanity and stupidity. They are both my favourite.

Fun fact: to get the best dialogue on the rouxls kaard boss battle, you need to have the duck machine and loose the battle. Belive me, the dialogue is WAY BETTER

Chaos King is by far the most underrated track of chapter one and maybe even the entire game and The World Is Revolving is by far the most overrated one *imo* but nothing beats Attack Of The Killer Queen

Rouxls fight from chapter 2 has a really good theme and attacks but the monopoly mechanic can be cheesed

I really dont like sweet cap'n cake battle. All you need to do is dancing until susie and ralsei get s-action and r-action. Attacks is similiar and boring. For first time its great and funny, but i dont wanna repeat that

When I got deltarune about a month ago, I knew nothing about it and I and just mainly did pacifist for anything and have no idea at all how to access the secret bosses. So I’ll probably never be able to fight them

I agree to most of these but i would put Jevil first place because the Spamton NEO fight has a way easier attack pattern and it doesnt feel so intense.

The only reason I like Jevil is because he's adorable and has one of the best songs. That's it. His fight is a pain in the neck, you wouldn't even know of his existence of you didn't go out of your way unlike spamton who introduces himself.

Am I the only one who found snowgrave spamton easier than jevil

Personally, i love Spamton Neo's fight do much that literally one of my save files is just for fighting him.

I still love that the music trio battle pattern matches with the music

Spamton neos theme is good, but the queens is better

In my opinion the snowgrave neo was a decent challenge however the normal neo was too easy due to supercharge and fluffy guard

Im gonna admit that Jevil fight are harder that Spamton Neo fight. the reason is because Jevil can attack from all direction with different patterns of the same attack, while Spamton Neo also have different patterns of the same attack but his attack are more often come from the right so the player most likely going to dodge the attack

If you pick all duck parts then the monopoly battle will be funni also the giga queen battle will give you the option in act to choose duck mode which is basically attacking for pacifist route

Unpopular opinion I actually prefer Jevil to Spamton NEO. That is, fight-wise. Jevil has much more fun attacks to me and I prefer the spinning polygon stage to the basement or fountain. I also prefer THE WORLD REVOLVING to BIG SHOT. However Spamton is undoubtedly the better character, along with having slightly better story. While I prefer Jevil's design to base Spamton. Spamton NEO looks cooler than Jevil.

I want jevil to be voiced by heath ledger and give off a joker vibe

The best boss has to go to queen just for how interesting her attacks are and memorable it was. Spamton was good but not all like that

I prefer jevil because of lore and how his fight is way harder than spamton neo on both iterations because I beat both versions of spamton first try and jevil took me 3 days to master, plus spamton is really only tied for one spoiler while jevil is connected to everyone even if it isnt through dialogue

I have a better way to describe the support enemy team. It's like... a full 3 course meal, but only forks and/or spoons. Since forks and spoons help, but you don't actually need them.

Rouxls kaard boss is my personal favorite i looooooove him so much

I mean, the first incounter with lancer is supposed to be a sort of tutoriel, I don't thinks it counts as a boss. The fight ends automatically after a few turns if you didn't deal enough damage or you didn't manage to spare him

In spamton neo's fight, you are still able to heal kris with f1. I never knew about this until recently and it is such a carry

Is Clover really considered a boss/miniboss? Isn't it just like Shyren, Tasque Manager, Mauswheel and Werewerewire that it is a single and special encounter yet it is a normal enemy?

Out of sheer difficulty I think I am tied for Spamton Neo (SNOWGRAVE) and Jevil for first place. It's hard to do Spamton Neo when you're on your own - but Jevil is the actual definition of pain in battle form 😂

My favorite attack in the entire game is King's attack when he moves the box up and down with his tail.

Well I know it's not a real boss battle but what about and VS Susie battle? Like when Susie fights Lancer in the basement in chapter 1 ( the only ' battle ' without Kris on screen )

Yes spamton neo gives me HEADACHES but i found my #1 strat is to use the iron shackle and bounceblade as bounceblade sowers attack but saises defence iron shackle raises both(good for those who didnt beat jevil)

jevils boss fight is way harder but i guess spamton neo and jevils music are both amazing

Imagine last chapter all the secret bosses you've fought escape from your items and were plotting to kill Kris all along

didn't know you could fight spamton outside of the genocide route is it worth fighting him again if i already did it on my own?

i swear if toby dosent add a feature at some point to battle any boss youve fought before im gonna rage beacuse these fights are too fun to be done only once a playthrough.

Spamton NEO was cool and all, but let's be fair: making his fight so easy was a _criminally bad_ decision. Jevil was kind of a mini-Sans, in my point of view. It took me a lot of attempts to defeat him. But Spamton NEO? He only took 2 attempts (*without* using the FriedBow and the Mannequin, moreover), and that's just because at one point I tried to heal with Susie because I thought her healing spell would have had some sort of "Serious Mode" effect.

STRANGE fact: 1 year after deltarune released i used to have a strange dream about deltarune that was you went on a basement and you fighted early someone and i he did go and attack you but susie and ralsei saved you and then after that you did fight him but it was real because it was DIFERENT from deltarune he had a strange head and he had a armor with NO wings and the screen was for up and it wasn't on a train for a round the town

Fun fact: the kings Battle theme is actually spades hitting synth notes

pretty ironic, i think the roulx fight in chapter 2 is one if not the funniest fight of deltarune

My top 3 bosses would probably be… 3: Jevil 2: Giga-Queen and to nobody’s surprise 1: Spamton Yellow soul mode is so fun and good.

Spamton NEO shows how powerful NEO forms can be. I feel like mettaton NEO is stupidly underwhelming because mettaton had so much potential to be a good boss fight but is no different from muffet, toriel, papyrus, and asgore because it only takes one hit to kill mettaton NEO. But spamton NEO shows how powerful mettaton NEO could have been and it’s amazing!!

fun fact: K. Round and "Sweet Cap'n Cakes" are ONLY bosses you NEED to spare in order to beat them in ANY way... it makes those bosses better for me

The only guys I had trouble on were: spamton(phase 1 its those little jumpy guys) and jevil
