Even at max level, Carbon/Diamond Dog still manages to take down all your party members and even land critical damage to Ness (it would've killed him if the rolling HP didn't exist)
I’m so glad you chose the mint flavor windows instead of just p l a i n, like Moonsidian, (he’s the guy who made the Earthbound: All Bosses” vid. He deleted his channel for some reason. I really miss him…) Mint is my fav windows flavor in the game; I love the blue style. It made this video much more enjoyable.
I did this as well recently. Gave all 4 party members the best equipment. As well as giant teddy bears, kraken soups, large pizzas and shit. Was pretty fun.
With an emulator and EarthBound Save Editor, just start a new game, make a save state, then use the editor to set everyone's XP to 9,999,999 and voila!
you know, that WOULD be an interesting mod for Earthbound: gaining the stat boosts from the 8 sanctuaries as you go to them, rather than all at once at the end

@@Sklibbus I actually attempted to grind. If you go for the crows with sunglasses, you can hunt them for Cookies. You can collect up to 8 then sell them all for $3 dollars each for a total of $24 dollars. Just sell them at the drug store in Onett. I was able to get to level 25 in about 3 days. Then, just beat up the shark gang, get them to drop Hamburgers which sell for more. It's ideal to save money in the game too while leveling up to get stronger. It's faster if you can instant win the weak enemies.
Is it just me or does the music that plays when guygus is as phase three make me really really scared? Like that music activates my fight or flight response
It probably depends on what emulator you use, but I used OpenEmu for this game and you just put them into the little bar at the bottom of the screen. Or at least thats how I remember, its been 5 years since I've touched that emulator.
@@Sklibbus a tip. Bottle rockets beat the game. They are almost cheating they do so much damage. Diamond dog gets taken out with two of them. I enjoyed your video tho.
@@doomlord459 ngl when I made this video back in 2019 I wanted to push it out as fast as possible, and so recorded from start to finish then edited in one day lmao. I remember just using noclip to get around. If I could go back I would redo this video and actually use stronger weapons rather than brute force it like a caveman. With that said I have beaten this game with more thought a few times since and yeah those rockets are busted lol.
@@Sklibbus very fair. This is my favorite game. Ive played it perpetualy since i was 12 years old. Ive beaten it more than 50 times.... But i have never, NEVER looted the sword of kings. 😆 Its a blemish on my record ill probably die with.
