Actually facts. But optimized sonic is campy because the combos are hard and don’t always work consistently

Problem is that aggro Sonic is too punishable. He takes huge risk to get low rewards. If you try a Sonic combo and the person knows how to escape it, you can die really early for trying to get it

@@r-son7882 I wouldn't say little reward, if you can get a good combo it can be deadly. I'm not gonna lie, it is a risk. I do think they could've made Sonic a lot better and that for him to be really good you have to master him.

I don’t think it’s people not being bothered - it’s just that campy sonic is just more consistent and optimal (especially online with lowered reaction times) like Sonix (top sonic player) has done insane combos before and showed that he can but plays lame in many instances because it works better in most scenarios

@@thatguywhocomments5534 I always thought they should keep his air moves as weak as they are, but instead make them quick with little end lag. Like his Nair already is. That keeps the spirit of "He's not an air fighter" but really makes that whole branch of moves infinitely more viable as they could be used as combo extends and breakers

@@catpip_ That’s very true I almost never used PK Flash even with the buff it still comes out a little slow....I’ve been learning to play Ness recently (this is my first time getting into Smash....). I’m actually legally blind...(I’ve had about 23 eye surgeries when I was younger and I wear glasses but I don’t have a lot of vision...). But I’ve been trying to play a hype Ness! 😊. It’s tough when I can’t always see the screen but yesterday I posted my first Ness montage as a blind gamer. Check it out and let me know what you think. The last kill in my montage I used PK Flash but I definitely think that’s one of Ness’s worst moves for sure.

@@oneofthekindscarf8612 Not really, it's not super hard to avoid getting chained off with it and to recover even after getting chained off. Offline, Cloud beats Ness according to Sparg0 and goes even according to Bestness.
