The 240sx is basically the American cousin of the 180sx and the Silvia, and all the parts are compatible. I actually plan on making what's basically an American Sil80. Just get a 240sx with the 180sx style rear end and put a Silvia front end on it. I'll import an original S13 front end from Japan, if that's what it takes
8:00 yup!! My first car was a Corolla in this exact way! (Geo Prizm, but still). I can still feel the leather burning my thigh as I sat down on a hot day! Loved that thing. ABS, tachometer, power everything, sunroof, front sway bar - I've learned those weren't super common on compacts in the '90s. Dark teal too, such a 90s color. I still miss that thing!

Fun fact about the Toyota Prius: I had to work on one in my high school auto department. We took the battery pack out to test the charges on the individual parts of the battery. It’s been 2 years since I’ve graduated and they’re still trying to fix the damn thing. There was not a single person in any class who could put the battery back together and put it in the car and have it start.
