You aren't the only one who has been around for a while and feels like they have known him for about EVER... It is so weird that you can know someone for so long it's like we're brothers but it is that one sided feeling because he doesn't know either of us
Honestly with the GoFundMe, I think it's cool. We were able to get your bobber back to you. Fuck all the haters on that subject. Really cool to see all the old vehicles you've had over the years!
Its not really any different than any other form of donation. People knew that donating to GoFundMe was going towards a bike for Dan, its not like it was towards health issues and he ran off to use the money for something else.
@@Racer57 facts. And it wasn't for some trivial shit like my car is broke and I just bought a ps5 and a Xbox but now I can't get to work cause I need 300 for a water pump since I let it go for 2 years......
@@loganclark312 because everybody uses gofundme for trivial shit. It's looked down upon like we are all out of expendable cash what makes them so different mentality.
I remember dan trading the 600 for the thou, i remember the getto side fairing always falling off, and i remember the fans being really mad when dan sold the "doitwithdan bike"
Bro, you're single handedly the dude that got me riding bikes. I started casually watching your channel way back in 2014 or 2015, and your Magna videos got me hooked on riding and 100% hooked on the Bobber style. Since then I've owned 4 bikes, just bought my 4th last week, and I've bobbed every single one of them 👍
Ya the only other times I seen him that happy was him and Laura got back together the last time. Cause Laura + Dan = best Dan. And then when he bought back the magna.
Haven’t watched you consistently in awhile but wow. What a trip down memory lane. I remember the 335 when it was dipped OD green and you had the baller seat covers in it. Kinda surprised the sharpie bike wasn’t on this list anywhere. If you made a video of vehicles you didn’t regret selling I’d watch it.
Man do a video of why you don’t regret selling certain vehicles, these videos make me feel like your a high school friend having a chat with couple beers and chatting. Love this style and happy your able to keep us up to date with your injury in these sort of videos, hope all is well cheers from Australia
been around since danny tacoma. Nice trip down memory lane seeing all the old stuff and remembering the progression of this channel. Hope we cross paths eventually would love to finally meet the guy that I feel like ive been friends with for so many years.
Can’t wait to see the Magna EFI build. Ever since I saw your Magna on the channel back in 2017, I always wanted one, mostly because of the sound; finally bought one last year, and I’ve loved every minute of it. I need to spend some time on her, cause she’s ROUGH. Maybe I’ll make some videos on her. Love you Dan ♥️
A few years ago you hearted my comment when I said I just took delivery on my own H2. And....I feel the same way. I loved it, modded it, and I sold it, made a little money, and it was a spectacular bike. But I don't regret selling it. I had a lot of fun, but the bike was fucking haunted. About 75% of the time getting home there was a bit of a "phewww" moment, "it didn't get me today". I had a feeling it would, one day. I'm right there with you. Onwards, Dan, don't regret much.
Damn it's cool to go back to those memories, I remember watching your channel way back when! I remember when you wrecked your bike years ago and how disheartened I was when you said that might be the end of your channel. I remember the sharpie bike and watching you get the r1. You single handedly solidified my love for street bikes Dan! Thanks for all the content over the years man!
That magna is STILL my favorite bike on your channel. I miss seeing it. I fell in love with it the minute I seen it for the first time. Especially with the white walls.
The Magna was Sick. Great looking bike….. I ride an R1, I really dig the magna. Who give a Rats ass if the Rebel rubbed its gorgeous. The stand is sick
It’s weird seeing all these cars/bikes again. I didn’t start watching you super heavy until you got close to Gavin, but I recognize a lot of those vehicles from the old vids… weird nostalgia lol
I would love to hear you talk about why you don't regret getting rid of cars or bikes that some people would, without a second thought, surrender organs for. I think that all too often we get distracted by the "Best" of something, without thinking more clearly about what we actually want. Just because a car ends up on the top of every list in a magazine, or at the end of every video, doesn't mean that a person can't want something else. I'm rocking a 2.0 JDM EJ swapped SG Forester. Come at me, internet- I know what I'm about. I'm happy as a clam. Happy as a Dan. Fucking . . . I'm just happy, and I like your content, okay? Jesus.
I got started watching right before you started the sharpie bike and I was hooked after that. Always wanted to do something like that after watching. After going back and looking at that I see it’s been 7 years. Wow
Such a great video! I loved taking a trip back in Dan's automotive and motorcycle history. I've got a large place in my heart for the Camaros and would love to have one some day
Bro no cap, this was trippy to watch. You are legit the first youtuber I subscribed to. Been a fan for a long time now and it's awesome to look back on how far you have come. So many memories, and you always made your videos feel personal. I remember you looping the R6, all the videos with Laura, then wondering why she wasn't around anymore, learning you broke up, the excitement when yall got back together...you explaining how you thought officer401 was gonna arrest you, bro the list goes on and on. Keep up the good work man.
I've watched your videos since before the R6. Then I watched all of your videos before and after that.... Except a few of the build videos. Great memory lane trip
another video on the other vehicles! this was a great and chill video. also, the GFM isn't stupid in any way imo. i think thats amazing and shows how amazing and loyal fans can be. if anything, i'd be speechless to have fans like yours who care about your channel as much as they do. regardless, great video and i look forward to more videos like this one!
Dan after watching you try and build your dually I’ve been trying to find a truck to build myself. I want to build like the ultimate boujee tow rig. Your dually is the inspiration for my ideas and I can’t wait to see it finished
Awesome video Dan! I think I remember all of these of course besides the Tacoma but I know you’ve mentioned it before. I started watching you really when you had that red and white CBR. I gotta say, it’s been fun watching you change and get older and get new and fun things. I do miss those old days and all the motovlogger meetups and things.
Holy shit. It's crazy to watch stuff like this and realize how long I've been watching but its also crazy to think about how far you've come. Keep it up man!
We literally just got back too Atlanta from the Corvette Museum in Kentucky. Took my son in that exact shop you bought your car from, and we feel in love with a 69' El Camino there. But, for some reason it just didn't seem like a good idea. Long story short, we went back across the street and currently in the process of joining you in the C8 crew. 😊
Dan it’s great seeing you back up on two feet. You inspired me to get my first bike three years ago and it was the best decision I’d ever made. Love all the content keep it up brother ✌️
Dan I'd love to see a video about how to negotiate the buying and selling of vehicles. Haggling is something I've always had a hard time doing, so I'd like to see your perspective from someone who has a lot of experience.
Dan! I really want to know out of all the videos you've shot and shared with us. What is #1 your favorite video you've posted? And #2 what's your most memorable/favorite moment you've had since your journey on RU-vid began?
for the dodge truck ..it was sick the way the build came out you gave it that good old Dan Di€ head touch lol and it's called the SHORT DOOR VERSION And it's actually almost the same size as the full four-door version so I don't know why they would complain about being like cramped up or anything small
Bro I absolutely love the fact that you just do what the hell you want to do on your channel. I love your channel for this. Also you shoulda kept the h2. Dig the content. And you being one of the few people who know how ridiculous an h2 is. Get it. Also I’m on life 7.
Please, a video on the GTR or videos on anything. You always make me smile and I have had a hard time smiling lately. I'd like to add, the reason I've missed the old bike videos is not because of the stupid stuff (wheelies, going fast, etc). It has always been you talking about how you see things. Why it is more fun when you on your bike because it is impressive being able to talk as you do and ride, plus the comments on stupid drivers is funny.
Awesome video! I started watching your channel when I was in middle school (now a junior in college). You're one of the main reasons I started riding. I just got a Shadow 600 and went back and watched all your videos on the bobber build, plan on doing the same thing. Keep up the videos man! 👍
Bro this was a trip down memory lane, ive been following you for years, since some of your first videos, not sure if you remember but i posted a picture of your cam aro remade in forza a few years ago on instagram and tagged you, ive always loved your taste in bikes and cars and to be honest your one of maybe the two guys that inspired me to get into bikes and thats led me to go and study motorcycles in college and youve honestly been a huge influence on my life, loved the video and get well soon bro ❤
I started watching your channel when you had the sharpie bike and the lifted Tacoma. I bought my first bike after watching your motor vlogs keep up the good content can't wait to see what's next
you definetly can start a youtube channel on a magna in fact i started watching youre videos 3-4 years ago because of a magna video i stumpled on and now im getting ready to buy my first motorcycle wich is either gonna be a 1100cc magna from 86 or a honda cbx1050 so thank you for leading me down this path of sweet f***ing sounding bikes!
It’s honestly crazy to me that I started watching you in the r6 days and now I’m in my 20s with a house and motorcycle I literally can’t believe I remember every single vehicle on this list
That was just so fantastic to watch Dan! Damn, so many memories coming back. Never forgetting the Magna reveal, that’s one of the best videos I’ve seen!
a video of the vehicles you dont regret selling would be cool, with good explanations on why you dont regret selling them or why you sold them, this video was cool
The ones that I genuinely miss would be the Tacoma and the BMScrub, and then you've got the first sharpie bike.. There are a few others for me but those would be the ones I miss the most
Dan you’re the reason I started riding! watched your videos at 19 years old and made me wanna start riding. I then got a 2015 cbr500r same year, then a 2010 cbr1000RR a year later which was my dream bike cause I loved the one you had! And now I’m 24 with a 2014 BMWS1000RR!
this could be an awesome topic for other car guys on you tube to make a video on!! just to see everyone else talk about this like gavin, 717, and a bunch of other guys, that would be cool!
@Do It With Dan I got upset when you stepped away from doing the motovlog and got into a life vlogging but honestly I’m just happy you’re alive and exist. I only wish we were friends because I’ve got a turbo zx10r project I think you would like and man I feel like we are old friends that never met. You got me into bikes and I’ve been a kawi man since I saw the graffiti 636. You’re a good dude and I want you to keep on keeping on.
I honestly trust your opinion on cars Dan just because you don’t come from a place of authority with your information you are presenting to us your just like this is how my ownership went and I believe what I believe from experience and not from someone paying me to drive something or anything like that and it’s very real and down to earth
Actually, I would love to see you talk about why you don't regret selling some of your vehicles, particularly with the experiences that you've gained along the way and why it ended up working out. I believe you mentioned in this video something along the lines of hopefully this is the encouragement somebody needs to hear in order to sell or buy a particular vehicle. Hearing your take on why you don't regret selling some of your vehicles might help other people realize that they are in a similar situation and can go ahead and pull the trigger on their own vehicles or aspects of their life. Something like that. Edit: or even just be able to recognize the signs, and be able to realize they need to let go of something, or upgrade, or swap, or whatever. I would love to hear about the decisions my parents made at my age and how they felt about them/whether it worked out/if they could do it differently. Might as well hear it from good ol' DIWD
I used to have a 325xi wagon. Got it as a project and decided I needed to save money and not have another project so I sold it. It was a high mileage car but it was solid. My dads 335i has over 200k miles love them
yeah i work at my local Ford dealership and we have a black used TRX and it's listed for like $99,500. i drove the thing and it's almost to much for the road. I'm a Ford fanatic but Ram did a great job with the TRX.
Been a long time subscriber, and the amount of progress you have made is insane! Easily my favorite channel hands down and just like many other people have said i feel like ive gotten to actually know you through these videos, i was sooo close to being on the crusie but then had to ship out for this fine country. I will meet you one day though hopefully, keep up the amazing work.
