Bruh your mom's confidence and reaction to the car was phenomenal LMAO but I gotchu on that car meet perspective. Once you scan through all the cars throughout the meet there's really nothing else but to just talk to people. Some people are cocky as hell too but I guess it's important bringing homies to meets.

OK due to the abundance of time, thanks Corona V19. I took the time to install the controlla on my 09 is350 The removal of the stock throtal plug was very difficult. After busting a knuckle and wasting 30 min I ended up using a needle nose vice grip which removed the plug right away. Iam sure any kind of grip carfully applied will work real well. Insallation took 2 min after that. Results: I have the MPH halo set at 95 mph, I set the Apexi on the red setting for the highway, the red halo lit very quick and I feel out of my comfort zone. I will have to get use to the full throtall aceleration at 75mph plus. Lots of fun , I was with my son and he said he noticed the differences too.

Also I got the takeda cold air intake. Massive difference. Very deep sound and I feel much more low end torque. You should look into it for you next vid!

@@JasonNguyen agreed, they used to give discounts if you already had the tune but not anymore. I was thinking about supercharging as well... Then I did a compression test and had relatively low compression on cylinder 2 :( itd be sweet if you did it, I've only seen 1 or 2 that are SC'd
They do still give the discount last time I checked. They just send you a new tune file and you use the tuner they give you when you originally bought your tune!

Not at all! I’ve almost had it on my car for about 8 months or so, been nothing but amazing! I also heard around the two year mark, it starts to give out but we’ll see!

Thank you!! I really appreciate you watching my videos!! Not a problem! It does not waste fuel faster however the way you drive will change, which will affect fuel. I notice that I do let it hit higher rpms sometimes. But I always drive in Sport Mode & High Throttle Mode (RED).
Hey man cool mod, I wasn't aware of these. I wonder how much it would help on my 200t bc the lag is PRETTY REAL LOL. I feel you on meets, just hanging out with car friends getting lunch and stuff is more fun for me. BUT, I am taking my car to a show in December and the main reason is so I can take pictures of it in a show setting bc I think it makes for good background scenery. The one I'm going to isn't indoors, but that's definitely another goal: getting some sick indoor show pics. Also your mom going ham AND cheese on the throttle had me dying dude
halfwaytillbliss it would help a lot as long as you have a tune. Because you guys have turbo lag as well as throttle wire lag. Oh dude, I would much rather grab a bite and kick it than just go to a boring meet with people who are just stuck up lol. I want some indoor show pics someday too! Dude good luck in the show! It feels good! There isn’t as much lag with the throttle signal! It doesn’t make the car faster that’s forsure, it’s just a bit more responsive! I got a tune and headers last year and that made a difference. The car feels really awake now!

Hey nice work on you lexus. Do you have info on the gray wire install. Dose the controller over ride the oem power eco switch settings, and when you put the care in reverse and in red mode dose it affect the response . Thanks
Thank you! The grey wire install makes it so that when you reverse, it disables the controller. Reversing in red mode is way better for me honestly. Less throttle lag!

To be honest, I was just pressing on where I assumed the clip to be. And it wasn’t really quite on it, once you figure it out by looking at the new harness, you mimic where it is and try again, it’ll come off.
Wassup Jason, I gotta go back to this video to ask you if you have any tips to unplug the gas pedal connector 😂 I gave up after an hour trying to pull it out. I felt the clip but couldn’t pull it out tho. Thanks a lot 😂
Hey bud! Thanks for watching! It’s super hard to get out! The only advice that worked for me was to feel where it is on the new one and try and find where it is on the old one and just try your best to pull it out! It’s a tight space as well. It took me 15-20 mins😭

I got both the harness and controller from THMotorsport however they no longer carry it. You can find the harness for your make/model by searching it up! The harness and controller are sold separately
I have a tune on my car as well! The throttle response def helps with the controller but it doesn’t solve all the problems haha. If I wanted a car that responded way faster and was faster, I wouldn’t have gotten this car😅 I just did the tune and the throttle controller for fun. I just love messing with the car and making it more enjoyable!

Yes you can! There are instructions on how you may do so. Each time I turn on my car, it turns on to the last mode I had it on before I shut the car off.
YES. It wakes up the car completely. It’s like night and day. It just feels more responsive when you tap the pedal. It’s not so sluggish anymore!!! 100% must have mod!
I got them from TH Motorsports however I think they no longer sell them as they are not on the website. You can google Apexi Smart Accel controller and find the correct harness for your vehicle make, model, and year.
Are you still using it? If so, how has it held up? I’m looking at getting one, but I’ve heard some problems start to arise after about 9months to a year of ownership
