This was actually how I got to Musk Reef the first time as I was just exploring and didn't know about the puzzle. I was exploring again later found and solved the puzzle, and went oh, I guess this was how I was supposed to do it.
@@Jin_world_changer Why? They give Kaeya such a suspicious backstory, so why isn't it a foreshadowing? Especially since there is another suspicious character from the same place Kaeya comes from?
@@Jin_world_changer Yes they are because hello read his story in-game it talks about 80% of what mona just said? Dude, like seriously? xD You seem to know 0 about the character to say such a thing
@@madeliefynana Er, you don't really understand what foreshadowing is, do you? You can have foreshadowing and a shady backstory. They go hand in hand a lot of the time.
Well, he comes from a place that fell to the Abyss and his people possibly turned into monsters. That last part is unconfirmed yet... He can also speak the language of the Abyss monsters, so... Yes, he is suspicious.
He comes from Khaenri’ah,Which had a curse that i believe turned most people into monster like creatures. As revealed in his character story,His father said “This is your chance.Your our last hope.”Though,I believe what Mona said about making a “clean break with his past.” is what happened with Diluc in the past.(Also i got most info from Wiki i’m not high enough friendship level,So some information about what kaeyas dad said to him may not be 100% correct.)
@@emuuya2745 Kaeya is kinda a double agent who has been “possibly” secretly building an army for revenge of his homeland but I’ve been thinking is klee gonna be in any part of that and albedo😭 I think albedo technically form the same place as kaeya
He speaks the language of the Abyss, and is the most active force against the Abyss Order alongside Diluc, his brother. He has a past with the Abyss Order, we just cant be sure how.
@@Wolf-bb1ex i thought he can speak to hilichurls because he once said he was blessed with a certian linguistic ability and i remember we once interrogated an byss mage, it can speak just like human. But hilivhurls can't. Also his ice ult is the same motifs as that of hilichurls' pole.
Kaeya's entire outfit is such a dead giveaway about his importance in the story. His two sides are "perfectly asymmetrical". His eyepatch and the pale hair strand are on his right, while on his left are his free eye, his vision talisman and the scarf end on his back. Speaking of his scarf, it bears a strong resemblance to Aether's scarf and to two wings with one wing having been ripped off. This wing theory can also be tied to the fact that his constellation is a bird. In my opinion, this is all a symbolic representation of his choice. By losing his "right wing and eye", he abandons Kaenri'ah and its cause but also somehow loses the chance to ascend, because he no longer has a pair of wings to fly with like Aether. That could also be a reason for making him a 4 star.
I really like the theory of Paimon being the god of time/khaenri'ah. Both Kaeya and Paimon have a scarf+one wing aesthetic going on. I think Kaeya's outfit is meant to represent his country's god.
@@deguzman10333 Isn’t Khaenri’ah’s whole point is that they don’t have a god tho ? Really cool theory, but I get a strange feeling that they might not make him an important character. This is more just my personal speculation than true fact, but feel free to read if ur curios. 1. The backlash of the fanbase, Im sure most of u guys know this, but not everyone loves Kaeya’s character, if they were make him important to the story and not another character like Diluc, and most likely they wont turn every character into an important one since by that point there would be to many. 2. It seems like 5* are taking priority. As of now, all the really important character to the story have been 5* such as zhongli, venti, and the traveler. This makes me think that other 5*s like Qiqi, Klee and Mona are more likely to become important first. There are some character like Ningguang that are 4*s and were important to the story, but in a sense, Kaeya has already fufilled that role at the very beginning of the game, plus we already got his story quest. All this to say, that if Kaeya gets turned into an important character, then I will be very, very pleasantly surprised. I just have a premonition that he wont
@@Ruby-zy6og That’d be a lot of build up for nothing :( Our last hope would be Khaenri’ah’s chapter, I hope they will at least explain why the hopes of a nation rested on a kid in the first place.
The first time I saw him was that she kinda bad tho vid, it was so funny and his walk is just marvelous. When I got to that part I was so happy, I only wanted to experience it myself and said I'd stop playing then, since I've never played anything like this and I'm very clueless. I still play though, the game's pretty nice but I'm still clueless. And I couldn't get over the pirate quest, I was so sad that he lied and used the traveler lmao

Edit 2 because people are STILL replying to this: no I’m not gonna “respect” people who ship brothers even if Kaeya isn’t blood related, literally correct yourself if you do. I don’t respect people who ship incest or anything immoral like that and if you DO happen to ship them get help /srs.

@@Readloc thats just a in game feature i think, its probably just burning time outside of game logic, so to us we skip time but its just idle time for them
Hear me out (◍•ᴗ•◍) This is Kaeya's story. "His home was destroyed, his own father abandoned him and as soon as he found happiness again with his new family the new father he grew to love died in front of him. Then after deciding to finally tell Diluc everything, the very last person in his life left that he cared for abandoned him as well. To make matters worse judging by the last thing is biological father said to him before abandoning him, it's very likely he's the last of his kind so he' llbe an outsider no matter where he goes. On a characters birthday, you usually get a talent book and a heartwarming letter, do you know what Kaeya gives you? A drink and an invitation to come and drink your problems away with him in the tavern. He has nowhere else to go on his birthday nobody else to spend it with. Kaeya's life had been nothing but rejection and abandonment which explain a LOT as to why he is how he is in the game. Even in his own story quest, he doesn't trust the traveler eith his info, preffering to manipulate them. It's likely Kaeya simply isn't able to trust very easily given what he's gone through. (which explains why people in the comments says kaeya is sus) People focus on Diluc's sad backstory, but his brother has been through a lot too. And you kjow what's worse? There's one more abandonment Kaeya has gone through that I didn't mention. When you drop him from your team."
Kaeya is always in my main team, I got him to lvl 10 friendship and been reading his voicelines and stuff, and he's just so sus, and now listening to the other's and especially Mona's voiceline about him, I have a feeling he'll play an important role once Dansleif and Khaenriah is introduced in the game.

Well if you remember, Diluc is right Just 50% we can trust him.. Because he said that his grandfather treasure is sword.. And idk if i overthinking or just have heavy myth knowledge.. His surname is Alberich and in myth.. Yeah you can search it what is meaning.. And the fact that Alberich have the sword.. Especially with Dead Legacy.. Or twilight sword. If you know what i mean.. Then i didnt shock when i realized that sword who he is searching can walk.. And hard to find IYKWIM But idk.. Letz wait until the archon new quest😭😂
On the surface kaeya seems like this suspicious type, but when you look into his backstory you start to realise how much thats happened to him to get him to that point.
I rlly want them to rework kaeya’s abilities 😭 cuz in the manga it’s confirmed (kinda) that kaeya is stronger than diluc so it doesn’t make much sense for diluc to be a 5 star and for kaeya to be a 4 star

Still love the fact he wears the eye patch for possibly one of three things. One is that there's a scar, second is that its gonna leave a tan mark or third its part of the fashion of his homeland just like the narrator who also has an eyepatch like fashion
Funny thing is I never paid attention to him at first and I hated him for the attitude he gives off. Even though he is pretty mysterious, Kaeya is such a interesting character. He has so many secrets and charms. I’m so excited for his backstory to be revealed, and finally people will appreciate this frost captain more
@@thelazybug If you look at his story bits in his profile, it tells you a bit about that, though i think he's not one anymore? Though his trust is still a bit split
@@thelazybug read his character bio and it will explain- he’s basically a spy from Khaenri’ah that was purposely abandoned by his father at Dawn Winery so he could infiltrate Mondstadt. However, he began to abandon his mission but After Crepus’ death, his position on the matter is much more ambiguous.
something i find interesting about kaeya is that he’s supposedly cavalry captain, but the grand master has taken all the cavalry with him so his rank is kind of empty. this coupled with his sketchy personality has me thinking his real role is probably closer to spymaster for the knights, possibly an embedded agent in the abyss order (maybe even a double agent providing counter-espionage to the AO or a third party?) i keep feeling like this is the tough decision mona is alluding to - that maybe he’s playing both sides and eventually over the course of the story he will have to choose where his loyalties lie.
I swear I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s the real Tsaritsa, and some lady is a decoy (he wouldn’t be suspected). I mean, powerful ice user, sus, and he constantly disappears ! And what if he’s hiding something special about his eye.
What if Kaeya is the true leader of the abyss order and the Twin sibling is just a puppet? I mean his abilities are very similar to abyss mages(his ult and his ability to phase in and out)
ngl im really interested when they are going to reveal more offically and give him a 5* varient. ill be super curios whether he ends up siding with Khaenriah or mondstadt
Fn F imagine you finish the quest and suddenly Kaeya's fucking missing from your party- That's so scary wtf (But me daydreaming of the game giving Kaeya back as a 5star..)
@@gloom9799 That sounds like the thing Kaeya would do, actually. Just disappear like that from your party with no prior warning. It's a scary thought indeed.
Oh most definitely something to deal with Dainsleif. They both have that star in their eyes, and when you first meet hear about Dainsleif in game as Kathryn described him to you, the only option to pick is “perhaps a distant relative of Kaeya?” (Because of the eyepatch), plus they both hail from Khaenriah I think. You could get nitpicky with the details and say they both like wine and such and hate the dislike the abyss, but if that response to Dainsleif’s description and the eye similarities isn’t enough, I dunno what is.
He's actually like a top tier 4-star now thanks to the new artifacts. If you build a frozen team comp around him, he'll basically have 100% crit rate and annihilate anything he touches
He has potential to be great now with the new artifacts, the only problem is that he's a pain in the ass to build and his moveset is not that flashy. He is my dependable bridge-builder though.
Does people still think that despite his constellation set? Even at c0 is good. People use the excuse of "high invest" as if no other characters on 4* needed constellations to perform.
@@Vini-zv3lr Not flashy? Is extremely effective. Most people dont even know stuff like he unlocks heal on E wich scales with the talent dmg or even to december people didnt even bother to read the const set.
(SPOILERS FROM THE WEBTOON, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED) So if you were to listen to Mona's opinion on Kaeya (0:53) I have a theory: As Mona explains near the end of her opinion, she says that "He believes he has made a clean break in his past, but one day fate will catch up with him. When it does he will have a major decision to make." With that being said in the webtoon he also explains that him and his brothers are like 'anti heroes with attitude problems' and tells Diluc that he was and still is a spy. On top of that Kaeya's voice line (2:18) asks the traveller "is the abyss order causing your trouble? If there's anything bothering you know you can talk to me. If you ever need me let me know. Let's not make this a transaction relationship." WITH ALL OF THIS INFORMATION I have these two theories: 1) Kaeya in the end is either exposed/tells the traveller that he is also a spy for an organization (it could be the abyss order, the organization in the webtoon or something else we don't know yet.) in which is a threat/enemy to the Knights of Favonious and has to choose to either fight or hand himself into the traveller and the knights. He would then probably need to choose between life and death when it comes to his fate. 2)Kaeya is trying to build up everyone's trust and in the end he either needs to betray them or keep building the trust that he has already gained. These two theories could be put together but who knows? Theories are theories, some are true some are not. :)
One thing i love about kaeya when you talk to him in the serenitea pot. He's so happy to talk to you and act so soft because he trusts you. A side to him not many people get to see.
Okay back on what Mona said,, maybe one day something will happen between Mondstat and Kaenri'ah and Kaeya will have to choose who he supports and/or where he wants to stay maybe?? (idk how to spell Mondstat lol)
i have a theory that kaeyas the leader of the abyss order, it would make sense cause the people of khaenri'ah were cursed and (this is another theory) and turned into abyss mages, and kaeyas a spy from there so it would make sense that he leads them. and in his "about kaeya" voicelines, he specifically asks about the abyss order, they could have made a seperate voice line named "about the abyss order" but they didnt. and his elemental burst causes shards of ice to circulate him, and after an ice abyss mages shield is broken, when it starts regenerating its sheild ice shards circulate around it too.
I dont think he's a leader or anything. He's actively fighting against the Abyss order and 'decyphers' their documents, so... If he was really in position to lead them, Mondstadt wouldn't stand by now.
I don't think Kaeya is directly involved with the abyss order, but he does have a lot of similarities to cryo mages like you said. His elemental burst, the fact that he can teleport on his 5th attack, and that at C4 he forms an ice shield! Like hmmm...
Jennifer Cacal Crack theory: since his people were cursed into becoming abyss mages, by upgrading his constellations and ascending him we're actually turning him into a mage
