no but seriously I’m always there just for the field trips, last year choir sucked though. The teacher was a bit strict, and we only went to 2 field trips which one of them was pretty fun but the other wasn’t. It also said that we’d get free tickets to this one baseball game, but since so many people joined JUST for the ticket we didn’t even go there
SAME I only did that bc i wanted to be outta class, in 4th grade we went to sing Christmas songs for veterans. 3 hour ride for 5 mins of singing. BEST DAY OF MY LIFEE
In my school, some kids do band and choir, and the band kids leave halfway through class, And for the sopranos, its just me, a girl with an always raspy voice, and someone who sounds like a broken speaky toy.

because it is the definition of middle/high school choirs. im in one right now and there are a few guys with low voices and they CANNOT blend. then again, it isn’t necessarily their faults since we always sing in major because of the sheer number of soprano and mezzo voices. im one of few guys and its hard lol. thank god im a tenor.
Im in Choir now and I realized how true this is. There’s a guy who doesn’t know how to blend in, a guy and a girl who don’t sing and blame it on something, and the choir director making a lot of gestures telling us to quiet down or whatever, and then someone who does something extra but messes it up, someone who does the wrong vocal technique, and me. I usually sing okay but sometimes I sound like a duck. And I get sick too often but I love singing anyway. And the people next to me happen to be loud and they already take vocal lessons, so they get hear own parts sometimes and that messes me up because the notes we have to sing are completely different and they sing really loudly next to me. Almost end up singing their part
@@programmerpanda Not any more! We improved a lot! And I guess I was probably using the wrong technique, but that technique is only good for harmony as I am also now in soprano. I have to kind of belt or sing it loudly and that technique helps with it, but it’s not good for solos
This was me when I joined choir last year, but now I got it down. It's just sometimes I can't blend in my voice. I'm also going to try to get into Honor Choir, it's just you got to sing solo in front of judges😭 (Sorry if it didn't make sense😅)

This girl I stood next to in choir always thought she was a star and during a practice she literally pushed me to the floor when it was time for MY solo and she acted like she knew the words-

That happens in band. This trombone will play extra but he hasn’t been corrected yet. I dunno why considering TUBAS are supposed to stop last. I’m a Euphonium * sounds like a trombone but looks like a small tuba * so i’m stuck listening to him play for WAY TO LONG 😀

im the orchestra kid, so i need one for orchestra. for me, its the kid thats always out of tune, the stand who cant stop playing on rests/somehow + always plays the wrong note, and the kid who leads the entire group
