Well u miss some other features like the seat should have moved forward and back when a passenger is getting in the back seat. Your seat motor could be broke. Also this car has hydraulic suspension something like a Range Rover but better and will raise the car up to go over higher terrain. When your ABC malfunction light came on you should have done the “rodeo” test and that would have showed it wasn’t the pump which is very expensive. The rodeo means raising the car up and then back down. That button is on the dash with a arrow pointing up. My friend put 26’ on his and kept the car high for a year until his ABC pump went out. You probably could put 28’s on it but his car rode a little more unstable at higher speeds. The other great feature I used a lot (and maybe helped wear my transmission out) was the button under the rodeo button. That takes off the traction control and when in sports mode and you hit the gas, the car will spin tires for a second before shooting out like a rocket. The 0-60 claim of 6 seconds would be a lot quicker if they did the test that way! Also your car (even it being a 08’ ) has Bluetooth capabilities. You can have 12 devices connected but u need to know the code set by previous owner (in book). I also didn’t see the headlight washer button next to the night vision button. All older model Mercedes-Benz came with headlamp washers. They must stopped because guys started caring more about their quality paint job than clean headlights. The washer would shoot chemical cleaning water on the lights but then roll back on the hood and strip the wax and leave spots on the hood next morning. Hands down the CL550 is the best car I ever owned. My next is the CL 65 AMG but like you I prefer the look of the taillights from 07-10 so I’m gonna get a 10’!
Great video! And thanks for the shout out! I am biased but I fully support your decision to get a CL63. I personally like the pre- facelifted model though. I noticed that the upper trunk light plastic covers are broken, that's a pretty simple fix if you ever decide to fix it. Also I keep learning more about this car. Just found out not too long ago that the screen actually can swivel if you hit the button in the cluster switch. Also if you hit the button on the door to open the trunk and then hold down the button again, the trunk can close too! Also did you know in the button cluster near the control knob there is a * key and you can use that button and set the sunshade as your favorite so you don't have to go through the screen? Lastly you can set the car in Vehicle Settings to open the trunk halfway, turn off the auto folding mirrors and you can also turn on the locator lighting which I like.
Is it possible to love something and hate it at the same time. It’s the way I feel about the red rims. They fit the car so well and it looks good as a whole but at the same time I’m like it’s wrong to have red rims on a classy car like a CL😂. But hating aside that’s a great video and I look forward to more.

the info I found on the merge with Chrysler from 97 to 08 ended because Mercedes stock started falling , customers did not like the merge because it hurt Mercedes image of prestige, the Chrysler and Mercedes camps could not get along due to different ideas and chrylers reputation of poor quality.
Stephom Allen I think it was because of the success Chrysler got from the 300c model. In 2003 that car took the world by storm and was the most popular car out! Rappers,athletes etc was forgetting about Benz and EVERYONE wanted a Chrysler 300! Before that it was the PT cruisers! Then before that was the Prowlers! Mercedes-Benz was not doing much in the 90’s. The 80’s they were more popular because Cadillac made the garbage 4100 engine and lost many luxury buyers to Mercedes-Benz and jaguar. I think Mercedes-Benz saw that the only one benefiting from the merger was Chrysler. The 2000 S class was ugly and the C and E models had ugly taillights. Chrysler was at the top with the 300 until 2008 when every car company suffered because of the housing market scams.
Yeah and no lol if that makes sense, caused me a few toubles but overall fairly reliable, had suspension problems and failed window motor and motor mounts, but you should be good, just make sure it was serviced good,but things are a bit pricey to fix,
