I never understood this one, because let's say the implication is that you should have grown up in the 1970s to listen to '70s music as it came out. But then you'd have to wait years for all this stuff you're enjoying to be released, whereas being born later lets you enjoy all of it any time you want using modern technology. I really love the piano music of Bartók, but I do NOT wish I was born in the early 1900s for so many reasons
