Im an Immunocompromised liver transplant patient and im currently on treatment for a very serious aspergillus lung infection. Things got very serious for me but being on treatment after waiting for months im finally starting to do a bit better. For me i had a lot of nausea and vomiting, rapid and severe weight loss, coughing up blood, bloody stools, fatigue, low blood pressure and high heart rate. It was a struggle just to get out of bed. Im going to be on treatment for a few more months but funguses can absolutely ruin your life.

I live where the Destroying Angel grows and while it is no joke deadly to eat, it is NOT dangerous to touch! There are NO mushrooms I know of that can poison you just from handling them!

I don't understand why are Americans so scared of mushrooming. It's a very widespread fun activity in Czech Republic, the only real killer is Deathcap but people easily avoid it and aren't particularly worried about touching it (iirc, been long).

Some information in this video seems like a fake. Especially about the lethality of some mushrooms. For example, the Angel mushroom certainly cannot kill someone with spores. This is simply impossible given the way spores spread and develop. Like yes, if you it like half of it you will die with prohability of 80%, but not if you just breath spores + death cup actually more dangerous
