I like how they put that detail in the “Its Nice That” DHMIS interview that Yellow is allergic and scared of horses, and one of his nightmares was riding a horse. Anyway fantastic rating!! The thumbnail is✨
@@Endore5000your thumbnail really is great! Your dhmis doodles are really cute, I especially like the one of the sketchbook! The way you did the hair was really funny and cute 😊
@@THEREALPARTYNOOBYGANG that was deleted from the channel, and we never actually got to see that character teach as the series was never released, just the teaser, so we have no idea if they did a good job or not
I would like to point out one thing that is that I feel sketchbook's lesson wasn't that great because it feels as if she was trying to scare them into "never being creative again" in the first place, it just kinda seems like she wanted them to use their creativity wrongly so they would feel to guilty to be creative again. But that's just my view on it
It could go either way, the first DHMIS is so unique in its approach that it’s hard to tell what actually happened so we all have different view points on it. All valid.
This is a really good video and I completely agree with your list! I was thrilled to see Tony so high up I feel like many people overlook his teaching due to the ending of the episode.
Elec-tracy isn't completely wrong when it comes to hammers. There are motorized hammers that will pound in the nail for you if you are physically unfit to pound away at a nail. They're also impact hammers and a bunch of other types of hammers even electric chisels that help you do specific types of tasks. There are also electric nail guns which are a type of impact hammer that allow you to put nails through board using electricity and air.
Blankets can be electric because of heated blankets to technically she only got the hammer wrong. Though homer Simpson did make an electic powered hammer in an episode of the simpsons so Tracy might just be a simpsons fan
I agree with most of this It's just that there's one thing about Tracy's teaching She's not teaching about electricity in general, she was teaching about the one we make and use , we can call it 'domestic electricity'; when Duck says that he thought that electricity was some kind of weather, he was very likely referring to thunderstorms and it is electricity (I guess we can call it 'wild/natural electricity') Tracy just tells Duck that he's wrong when what he said was also right So she's teaching about one type of electricity only when there's more than one type But still a great teacher 👍
A very fair point to make, especially considering that Choo Choo went out of his way to explain the many different forms of transport. Good points there!
I feel like the Lamp was underated because he did not get any screen time as well the infection of the michene could infect the other minchine teacherz
It was only a matter of time, the 1 year anniversary of the show is around this time and I just got to 5,000 subscribers. So this is a celebration piece of sorts! Glad you’re happy!
12th drunk + incoherent 11th incoherent 10th cult 9th selfish motives 8th unqualified + selfish motives 7th basically throwing you in the deep end to teach 6th singles out a student 5th everything right but old 4th good teacher but doesnt listen 3rd right but abusive physically and mentally 2nd right but also wrong ( being that duck guys still alive ) 1st 100% correct
I've always thought that the 'Landline' bit was Todney just trying to make sure that they couldn't use the phone to escape the show again, as they did with the web episodes. xD; EDIT: Also, isn't the blanket Electracy mentions an electric blanket? I know there's no plug visible on the drawing but I have a feeling that's what she meant.
Lily and Todney trying to stop the puppets from escaping with a landline bit is quite the theory. Also if Electracey was talking about an electric blanket then all the more points to her.
2:37 I just want to bring up a counterpoint to the claim that everyone in dreams all the time, I didn’t dream for a good portion of my early childhood, and then I stopped having consistent dreams when I had a Fnaf two themed dream where Mangal killed me. After that each and every night I can remember was a dark void. No speaking no nothing just a dark void. Rarely what I ever get a dream after that.
If I have to be honest, I always think about OMORI when I watch Friendship. Brain friends? Ignoring what happened in the real world? Spoilers ahead, I guess. Adding on more to this, Yellow guy literally made his own headspace. A fake world, where he could retreat to, with the implication of him making it child-like so he can cope with it and understand properly. He's shown to have wacky misadventures with his brain friends. One of them even dies, specifically by impact to the neck. A little someone by the name of a Herb dies by a little neck impact after the elevator incident. Yellow guy also looks different but is still recognisable as himself, like the beginning of the game. It even gets darker as he progress!
I really like your approach on these lists, you make nuanced points that honor the show, and all the thought and creativity that went into it. Any DHMIS video is a good video, but yours are great.
Something that should also be mentioned about Warren is that during an arguement when you are insulted. You should retaliate agressively, something that can make arguements worse and escalate the main conflict.
35:05 she says plug-in blanket specifically, in other words a heated blanket. Dunno bout the hammer though Technically she wasn't wrong with the "maybe" on the hamster too. Nerves send electrical signals
About these guys... 12: His song is by far the shortest of the main teachers. After a couple verses, he just kills Yellow Guy and we cut to Red Guy's existential crisis where he finds out how the Teachers are managed. I will give him this though: his interpretations on the aftermath of death was pretty cool. 11: It's pretty funny how as the series goes on, the songs just get more disorganized as if Roy Gribbleston is getting frustrated or just bored. 10: Love comes in all forms too. Familial love, platonic love, romantic love of course and a... worldly love, if that's the right word for it, you can have a sort of bond with a certain part of the world... Eh, maybe that's more called nostalgia. 9: Speaking of familial love, I agree; family can come in different forms too. Not sure which form these guys fall into, but my definition of family is the people you have saved on your cell phone. And what the fuck's a landline?? XD 8: More like Warren the Ego. LoL 7: One thing I like about these remaining teachers is that they... sorta let the "3 of us" put the lessons into practice. This one especially lets them do so without being personally involved. While I don't think he chose a good time to do so, that is important in a teaching context at some point. 6: That's an adorable Sketchbook... sketch... But she's a bit... sketchy. Oh dear, I'm on a roll with these puns. Guess I'm feeling creative already! 5: Ah, poor old guy. I feel bad that he was not alive for most of his episode. His song had no right going as catchy as it did. 4: Colin, your domain is really really really really really.... REALLY weird! Own it, dude! 3: This is my favorite episode of the RU-vid run. Not to say that the others are that much weaker, it's just to say I found it that good. It ending ominously with the most important lesson one could learn made it for me; eventually everyone runs out of time. 2: I still say the previous guy taught about death more effectively, but this one's more about the aftermath of death. 1: 3 words; Perfectly cut scream. As shocking (yeah, I went there) as the electric chair part was, Yellow's scream was perfect! Let's tally up the points according to this video. Which version of Don't Hug Me had the most effective teachers? 12 points go to Electracy, 11 goes to the coffin, 8 to Choo Choo Man, 6 to Briefcase, 5 to Warren, 4 to Lily, giving us a total of 46 10 goes to Tony, 9 goes to Colin, 7 for Sketchbook, 3 for Shrignold, 2 for Steak and 1 for Lamp. 32. Yeah, needless to say, the Teachers of the TV series are the more helpful.
Another con about warren is his "correction" of how the senario should have gone, it didnt end up with the conflict resolved, it ended with red feeling ashamed of his rude action, and yellow getting 'revenge' by putting red down in return.
If Warren didn't randomly show up, things would've been alot calmer and positive. Because what if Red and Duck didn't really mean it This is what happened if Warren didn't show up... Colin : Hey, it's ok if you've forgotten the password, you can make a new password. It's computer day. A day to help you guys bond like friends. Red guy : Oh wait, it is. We're sorry for what we said. Yellow : So you guys aren't mad at me for forgetting the password? Duck guy : No, not really. You just need to let your memory rest. Yellow guy: Thank you guys. Y'all are the best. Especially you Colin.
Best ranking list ive seen so far!! Its such a shame the lamp got 12th place since he is my favorite, but i guess his teaching was a bit wobbly (also i love the bs soundtrack you sneaked in)
Lamp is apparently drunk, the thing about him not explaining things like nightmares or lucid dreams can be explained by the other teachers none of them really explain most things in the original series and his he's episode is when the machine was shown so he didn't have so much time to explain
Possibly but she was definitely just talking about a normal blanket and at best, static electricity. She didn’t specify a blanket, she just says it was fuzzy.
What the puppets made was indeed creative and inspiring. It doesn’t matter that it was crazy, they did indeed get creative but sketchbook thought that creativity is only in a certain way and that their creations were *creative in the wrong way*
The statement from the love cult "Everyone has a special one." In what way? They don't ever distinguish the difference of love regarding romantic attraction and sexual/physical attraction. Seemingly lumping both aspects as one. A package deal. So that causes conflict for folks who are asexual and/or aromantic. With asexual people feeling little to no sexual attraction and aromantic feeling little to no romantic attraction. So under the love cults idea these groups of people can only find their special one half way or not at all. Marriage while beneficial, is not necessary. There are people who don't get married and love each other and stay together.
I feel Colin was cute, I mean, he is a smart boi so I guess that’s a plus 😊also. I have been lucid dreaming since a KID bro. I didn’t even notice it until now like. Every time I lucid dream, I don’t even know a normal dream and how to dream normally which is pretty depressing to be honest.
Ranking (timeline) 2:06 the lamp 4:09 the healthy band 7:45 the love cult 11:42 Lily and Tony 14:49 Warren the Eagle 17:38 briefcase 20:14 sketchbook 22:08 Choo Choo 23:48 the computer 26:18 the talking clock 29:22 coffin 32:13 Tracy
I feel like lamp would be a nice teacher if he knew more. Another reason that no one learned a thing is that yellow guy was just trying to make him stop and too busy being scared to the point that he barely learned anything/also bad examples of things that we know from the intro yellow guy is scared of. ( he’s scared of horses, and the oil comes from when notebook ruined his drawing with oil in episode 1 ), which also proves this point. Naturally also yellow guy was really not in the mood for that kind of lesson after being forced to eat his friend and the other one going on some sort of trip for business or something. I honestly can’t really blame yellow guy for being sad after that of course
I just wanna say something that i just realized: sketchbook and briefcase are the most neutral teachers in DHMIS, they're not exactly the meanest but they're not exactly good people either, they're not bad at teaching but they don't know how to teach the right way either, not to mention that one is left brained and the other's right brained so imaine if they were a duo Also, if you included the elevator from the job episode to either of the ranking lists, where would you put her?
Me *feels bad for mr. Choo choo for diying for nothingness* (he literally hits red guy and pours his acid medicine and he accidentally destroys there room when he is coming out of that tunnel) thats all i know and i feel bad for him
@@Endore5000I totally agree with you saying that if choo-choo's lesson didn't sloppily end, he would've been healthier and younger (he could've stayed more in a retirement home).
@Endore5000 actually she said, "plug-in" blanket not a "fuzzy" blanket if you look up the lyrics of her song or search them on google to give you a clue and pay attention to the icon in the right along with the lamp in the left and the bulb in the centre
technically Colin isn’t wrong about “There’s over three things to do” he showed different types of charts. And showed different outfits that you can do for digital style. And different dance moves for the digital dancing!
About Larry's lesson, dreams don't only happen every night, it could happen any time of day if passed out, brain damage, losing a memory although he doesn't fuckin' explain it properly and is only explaining it in a certain close-minded way yk with lucid dreams.
Nice list and very impressive speech. I guess you're fan of Mixels, as you use a lot of soundtracks from their games. If you're a fan, it's great, me too! But there is one option I disagree. I disagree about Shrignold, as his meaning of love has different views from many cultures. Some countries like in Asia or Africa don't follow "European democracy", they have different opinions on some things. And about love by Shrignold, who says that only love between man and a woman can be considered genuine by everyone. Those countries find same-sex marriages unacceptable (The same good thing Shrignold and love cult says). Actually I have the same opinion as Shrignold. He is the nicest of teachers in the Web series who really wanted better life for others (but doing controversial things to reach it, so he is extremist). So they will be on #6, as their review depends on region.
@@Endore5000are you fan of Mixels? I am asking because you use soundtracks from Calling all Mixels and Mixels Rush. You used soundtrack during choosing characters and soundtrack during choosing the world. Both are from Calling all Mixels
And you seem to be Brawl stars fan, as you used the soundtrack of main menu at the event of Retropolis and soundtrack of main menu during the season Jurassic splash.
another thing about love is that "everyone has a special one" if it refers to the fact that everyone loves someone in the world then its not true because aro ace people dont.
Hey i know I asked this question before, but i was wondering where in yo kai watch did you get your background music? I tried looking but i couldn't find it.
You’d have to be specific but they’re from various YW games. Some of the ones I use the most are A Really Dodgy Place, Yo-kai World, Springdale 2040, Breezy Hills, Y-Mart, and more.
electracy definitely stood out. she was nice and is the only teacher that hasnt canonically died. she actually taught them something i just KNEW she would be first. shes not my favorite but shes definitely the best
I would think they smell like jellybeans and rainbows. But the kind of smell that also gives you a headache if it’s slightly humid. Like a cheap air freshener.
Lucy, todney, and warren aren’t really teachers, so it makes sense they are at the bottom of the tv teachers, while choo choo, breifcase, electracy, and coffin are probably real teachers, choo choo was a great teacher but was old, electracy was teaching them about domestic electricity, beirfcase is kinda in the middle of hood and evil, and coffin just wanted to help them. As for the RU-vid teachers, it makes sense tony and Colin are the top two of the RU-vid teachers plus they are their stuff, so they know what they are talking about, lamp was the worst because this episode focuses about the machine and the managers, so it’s supposed to be why he is off, because the machine isn’t working, and the other two bottom ones are the worst teachers, and then there is sketchbook, how well it’s kinda ambiguous due to how werid the 1st episode is.
