Really wish fatshark did a guide on these unknown factors... I wonder if it's done intentionally to force people to produce content about the game, like this video does. Any press is good press 🧐
honestly, mutants are pretty easy to deal with. My hammer instakills mutants at difficulty 4 (havent tried 5) in 1 swing, so I charge up and ready a heavy attack to hit them right as they hit me.
yo I HATE THE PLAGUE HOUND AND TRAPPER LIKE THEY ARE THE WORST. Also the best way to deal with a hound up close is by pushing them. It works 100% of the time
there is terrible advice in here; you should always kill a trapper before freeing your team else you risk them ALSO trapping you. always dodge *and* immediately press slide for anything youre trying to dodge like a dog leap or mutant charge/trapper net, it covers more distance than a regular dodge just dont forget to stand up again straight after always mark priority targets so if you mark a trapper dont mark a rager immediately after until the trapper is dead; you can only have 1 marked enemy per player marking and you dont want to prioritise a melee elite over a dog, trapper or sniper DO NOT run "away" from any enemy but ESPECIALLY not flamers omg what awful advice (you take much more damage from backstabs, yes ranged weapons can backstab not just melee) before you dive into hordes for melee fun time do a quick scan around the outskirts of the melee enemies for gunner and shotgunners shotgunners will SHRED your toughness and if youre inexperienced theyre deceptively the least threatening looking elites but if they chip your toughness and then you take a melee hit or two youre in bits ^you have a ranged weapon for a reason take out gunners before leaping into the brawl
The shields will block them, and some are reduced by other armors too I've noticed. The Surge staff actually is not I believe, in fact mine does pretty massive damage to flak and carapace, especially after I upgraded it, and it staggers almost anything effectively except for monstrosities and assassination targets. The Trauma staff (the circle explosion) can knock Ogryn off their feet but I wouldn't say it makes it worth using tbh unless you really like it. I don't think (?) Brain Burst gets affected by armor, but the damage of it also doesn't scale well so it gets less effective as you go to higher difficulties, so it's not necessarily a better option than a good Surge Staff for example.
@@pedropierre9594 It's not rocket science and yet he is adding fictional rules to armour classes and he uses the Reckon Lasgun as an exemple to deal with Maniacs when that weapon is not effective against that category at all. My point is, for someone who doesn't know better, this is very misleading and he should just scrap those "general rules", because they do not exist and there are plenty of weapons that can show otherwise.
