I believe it was said part 2 will be PS4 and 5 on release. If that's really the case I wouldn't expect too much more in graphics fidelity. We'll just have to see, but even if there isn't a bump I wouldn't be too mad.

@@alos6378 she's actually one of the more powerful and dangerous villains (sephiroth is actually one of the stupidist). But Ultimecia is a powerful sorceress she's compressing time to one timeline that has no S.E.E.D branches or members that way no one can stop her from taking absolute control over time and space. That why she's suppressing time to become a literal god and thats what you see in the final fight.

I loved 8 when it first came out and for the remastered version... no complaints. Hell I was finally able to understand what Ultimecia was trying to do. Had mixed feelings for Adele or whatever her name was. Couldn’t tell if she was hot or a complete woman. She had several manly features if ya know what I mean. FF9 was stupid to me, but after the remastered version on the PS4 I was like... why did I hate this game so much when it was first out? Much love to Vivi and Dagger they are definitely my favorites in that game.

My opinion is that Braska's Final Aeon (Jecht) is the final boss of FFX, rather than Yu Yevon, since you can't die fighting Yu Yevon. Yu Yevon was kind of just tossed in at the end to wrap up the story, rather than a final boss you actually struggle againest. I also think Vegna Gun, despite being a pretty easy final boss, is still the finall boss of X-2 rather than Shuyin. Shuyin also just seemed to be just a story plot boss, similar to Yu Yevon. I guess if you're interpretation of "FINAL" boss = last boss, then you're correct. but i just wouldn't consider them like the final boss you spend hours preparing for and fighting.

Kinda like Orphan's second form. The true final boss of that game is the first form of Orphan, which is a pretty challenging fight. Orphan's second form can be killed in less than a minute.

Same thing with Safer Sephiroth and Shirtless Sephiroth Everyone seems to condiser Safer to be the final battle of 7, and Yu Yevon of 10, despite Shirtless Seph and Yu Yevon both just being cutscene bosses

@@chronica6457 It really isn't the same though. Sephiroth's third phase is a glorified cutscene, meanwhile it's pretty clear that the Yu Yevon confrontation wasn't _intended_ to be as easy as it is even with the infinite revives.

@@chronica6457 Yes, unironically. The absence of status effect immunity is an oversight, and without that, good luck actually _finishing_ the fight. It's doable but requires a fair bit of thinking outside the box.

@@wanderingmiqote9606 the fan-translated versions are considered superior to the newer versions (FF3 was good on the DS, but it did some negative things that the NES/Famicom version DIDN'T have) (Also, Not Available until the DS version) The FF2 Fan-Translation version is also considered superior because future versions got rid of an exploit (and also, not available originally until the PSX version) The FF5 Fan-Translated version existed originally because Square thought FF5 was too difficult for Western Fans. (Originally, not available to the west until the PSX version...Which also translated Bartz to Butz...not kidding) With FF1, although the PSX version was really good and every version after, the NES version is still considered a classic and to some...the superior version, although it is harder)

Ultimecia one of the most powerfull antagonist on FF. she possesed the power of time and space and that simply made her invincible and in the end she didn't even die and keep living using time loop to start over her plan until she succeded.

Nitpicking time! I grew up on ff6, so I'm a sucker for it. Wanted to see the entire tower formation of kefka, it's wonderful sprite art. Granted, it's a longer process, and not so grandiose and flashy as the later titles, but damn! It was awesome when I was 9!

I really appreciate you putting all these together, but why do you show like one second of Kefka, and cut Ultimecia's battle, not to mention the 1 second of Cloud of Darkness, but show the entire super nova, plus the final cinematic of Sephiroth? And what about the other remakes? Why just 7? Man I like ff7 don't get me wrong, but it's frustrating how little love the other games in the franchise recieve.

@@-B4sh- I disagree the love and over exposure it receives it's heavily, if not completely influenced (but I don't want to say that the fact it was a good game has nothing to do about it so let's stay with heavily), by the fact that it was the first 3d FF in a new console for new generations that was the playstation, which made this particular final fantasy the first of the majority of the fan base . It is indeed a great game, but objectively speaking it is way too overexploted just because square enix knows that ff7 products are a safe cash grabber. It bugs me when you see these type of videos saying "all FF bosses", and you expect the same amount of relevance to each one of them, just to find out that once again 7 takes the spotlight. Other FF games deserve a remake urgently too, or at least a decent remaster, at least a little love and not be cut to just 1 second of a appearance in a video.

@@-B4sh- and btw since you haven't played any other FF yet, I recommend you to watch the full Kefka boss battle (the orchastred version one) which involves 3 stages, inspired by Dante Algieri's Divine comedy, which are hell, purgatory and heaven, no to mention that it is accompanied with one, if not Nobuo's best work, dancing mad which is a classical masterpiece as high quality as a Bach, or Stravinsky, now that's a boss battle. Also Ultimecia's boss battle involves 4 stages of with one of the best soundtrack of the series fallowed by a ending cincemtic, way better than Sephiroth's in my opinion.

I still disagree with you, I don't believe those are the reasons, for me it's just a matter that FF7 has always been a safe bet, so that "passion" you mention is non other than taking advantage of a product that they know is going to be well received no matter what.

The problem with 4 Heroes Of Light is that it is technically in the Bravely Default series of games. On the technicality that it had Final Fantasy before the title then the game Final Fantasy Adventure would also have to be included (even though it is part of the Mana series) as well as the SaGa games, which were originally titled Final Fantasy Legends (1 - 3) in the States.

I know: I own the game and was upset that it took me awhile to find it after its release because, despite it carrying the FF title, it wasn't stocked in most major stores. The rest of my comment though is doubly valid if you want to use that argument since Final Fantasy Adventure carried the Final Fantasy moniker in the Japanese release as well.

Gives us 2 Ultima's, in an inferior version of the game, against Kefka. Then, in the very next scene, gives us 4 minutes of the Sephiroth fight, including the boss's ultimate ability, and didnt end at the actual end of the fight "deterioration" death, but also had to show the end of game limit break I would tend to agree with you.

@@Vayne_Solidor you can’t be serious. There are so much more impactful endings throughout most all of the games. Whether it be because of the events leading up to the results of the closing, most endings come to an impactful end. FF10, for example, is leagues above 15’s ending.

@Aidan Fields I bet you were. But back in 1997 we didn't have all these triple A titles, we didn't have all these powerful machines pushing graphics to their limits. A cut scene used to be a TREAT when it came to games. A 4 minute attack in a rpg like supernova?? That's the feeling I was referring to. That kind of stuff just wasn't happening back then.

The point of a FF final boss is not the challenge; it's the plot. Everyone here criticizing purely story-based bosses for not being "challenging", please stop... If you want a challenge, go play Dark Souls since everyone wants to brag about it being so hard and leave FF bosses alone. ;-; It's a Final FANTASY, not Final Challenge. Fantasy is a story genre. Of course the final boss is going to be story-based more than a challenge.

No man. I agree that Jecht is the final last boss where you can die, but yu yevon is the final boss which ends the game even if auto life is on. Yu yevon sucks as hell and I wish was a different design for what is a masterpiece game.

Can we gave a mention about the ardyn boos fight. This is just the perfect epic final boss fight. A 1v1 Character that have same abilities Good music A good arène And then the 2nd phase where the good and bad guy use all of they have to defeat the oppoenent. Just nice

Final bosses of each expansion's main story arc. Each of those bosses marks the ending of a major piece of the main story and often ends with end credits.

I love the FF series. That was a genius series to start up. But xii was the worst one for me. The gameplay and story were great. But the level of effort it took to level up was a pain in the ass. Spend so much time grinding for levels that I tend to forget what the story was in the first place.

Yep, FFXIV has a final boss for each expansion or main story Patch, like Lahabrea for A Realm Reborn, Nidhogg and King Thordan for Heavensward, Zenos/Shinryu for Stormblood, Hades and Elidibus for Shadowbringers. But I don't know, maybe only the REAL final bosses counts here.

You know a hard boss? Ffxiii-2, what’s his name in that trial mode, you struggle to fight him (forgot his name, but you fight as lightning), then all of a sudden that bahamut comes out of nowhere and is even harder.
