Maybe I should do something like this for my kayak. I have had it 4 years with no protection, and it is a little scratched up. Do you think bed liner would work instead?

I like how it is rounded and covers more surface area on the front keel. Especially if I go noes in on a lot of gravel or rocks. Not very often it goes past the distance of the Berley Pro with angled bank. The nose will keep the rest from hitting bottom.
