I don't have the note 9 yet but have jmhad almost all the other ones. One nice feature I used a bunch was doing a screenshot of manuscript paper and setting it as my background in s note. Then I would write music in the app that way. Another overlooked feature since you can make the background whatever you want

I purchased a "renewed" used Note 9 several months ago. It arrived perfect "like new" out of the box (I had a Note 5 with some issues). Love it! Now I am working on trying to develop more fluency and skill to exploit the functionality of this "tech box". I chose this because of price ($555) and it had the headphone jack. We'll see what the future brings in a few years.

I've always had the galaxy s series. I just got a note 9 and this is soo helpful! I didn't know the s pen could do all this or I would of gotten this phone forever ago.
I remember when i was a kid in the early 90s, dreaming about electronic comics. Had i known something like this would become available to me in the future, I swear, I would've jizzed my pants for a week straight!
Finally getting me one of these! I had the iPhone Xs Max and enjoyed it however, after a recent conflict with AT&T, ive since given them the phone back and went back with Sprint and joined my parents family plan which already my brothers were on. Honestly it worked out great in my favor, still a pretty new phone and sprint had a great deal on it for $25 a month with zero down, so the bill for me will be just $67 a month in total, couldn't be happier with my choice! Plus last year around this time I had the Note 8 and loved it, got some really amazing lightning shots using the burst feature on it, so at least with the Note 9 ill be ready when the next storm rolls in! I should also add...I recently bought a refurbished note 9 because I fell in love just with the fact that you can write on the lock screen lol. I had NO idea the S pen could do so many other things, what a wild little device! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I learned so much watching your video. I had already watched several S Pen videos and thought I knew it all, but your first 4 tips I'd never seen in the other videos. This is why I always watch as many as possible, because you never know what tips & tricks someone else may know. Great video.
With all of these useful features in mind, would you say that the Note 9 (the 512GB, 8GB ram model) is a better option to choose that the S10+ 128GB model? They're similarly priced on Amazon and I'm trying to decide between the two for a daily driver for the next 4 years or so. By the way, your videos are always informative and interesting to watch. Thanks for all the effort and love you put into making them for us!
I new there were features I was missing out on but damn this video is so affirmative for those of us who don't realize how much more we can do from our phones. My Note 9 was a gift and I absolutely love it. I have had it from the beginning and I could of gotten a new phone already but why spend more money when I haven't even figured out everything that's available to me on the Note 9! Thanks so much! There ARE Note 9 S Pens that are other colors than just yellow, blue, or grey...my Note 9 is black with a black S Pen. I wanted a black Note 9...so it was ordered from overseas. If you order your Note 9 online you can get any color you like. U.S. wireless carriers are the only ones that only sell 2 colors.
Though it is long, but it actually saves me more time watching all those other "top 10 s pen tricks"...."15 tricks you may not know about s pen".....Hope there is more such informative tutorial!
The note 9 updated last week so some features they deleted. Can you do an update please? My icons don’t look like the ones in this video. I don’t know why they updated but they messed it up and a lot of people lost their read receipts and voicemail.

I have been looking at this phone in order to buy one for a very long time now. I usually only use LG phones and not a fan of Samsung. However, this phone is amazing I love everything it does and your video was awesome. I have compared the Note 8 note 9 and note 10 and find the note 9 as the best of the 3. So thank you for this video you have made up my mind to get one.
Good comprehensive review, I enjoyed all 45 +minutes but I would add one thing, a minor thing. Comment on the minor flaws or quirks more even though you did actually comment on one or two flaws such as the failure of a component of the Uber app. At 36:31 for example the scribbling out didn't work flawlessly, it added a new word 'ma' at the end. It probably assumed the scribble was the word 'ma'. The straight line cross out seemed more reliable.
I had a general overview of the S Pen features of Note 9 - which had come to me in a few days - but its instructions have operationalized in detail what I can use. This is a useful video and lots of content quality. Thank you. Jose Henrique
Great video. I've been on the s line currently with the s8+, but got the tab s3 love the s pen. It's making me want to be a note owner and I love the note 9.
Yesterday unfortunately my s pen was stolen @ my Doctors office by one of her two assistants 😡 When I walked 3 feet away from the room I was using it in while waiting for the Dr my phone rang out to let me know I was walking away without it..the two assistants were in there but not my pen supposedly. Question: Will the AWINNER Pen for Galaxy Note9, Stylus Touch S Pen (Without Bluetooth Control) available @ Amazon Work? I never used my bluetooth feature and my pen worked fine Would you recommend this pen?

I could imagine a big upgrade on the SPen features in the future, like samsung will add a speaker on the SPen and will automatically record the sound to the phone 😍 will be very useful for media people. Btw sorry for my english
Wow, I've had my Note 5 for 4 years and had no idea about so much of this. A lot of it actually is on my older model as well. 99% sure I'm buying the 9, but possibly the 10S+

Just got my Note 9 Exynos version! Its very powerful device and the S Pen capabilities are unique! After one day of use w/o video, streaming etc., 67% of battery remain.
I've been using an inherited now "dying" Note 5 and just purchased a soon to arrive used Note 9. This is by far and away the most complete and clearly produced treatise on the the Note 9 pen I've run across! Now I have hobby!!! Thanks for your very useful information!
8/18/19, I've had my "renewed"Note 9 for a few months (my wife and I purchased the Note 1's when they first came out). I'm moving up to the Note 9 because I couldn't wait/ or afford the Note 10/10+, I wanted a headphone jack, my Note 5 was "acting up" and my skills and fluency wouldn't, at this point, be able to exploit the functionality of the Note 10/10+. LOVE the Note 9! Was able to get it for $555, like NEW out of the box! We'll see what the future iterations have to offer.....
