I mean it's understandble to praise Mbappe or Vinisious for example, cuz these players can create goals out of nothing with their dribbing or longshots, but Erling always needs a good pass to make smth happen.

He's one of the best in the world right now but imma just say it. He's overhyped and overrated. Doesn't mean he's bad, he's not at all he's a fucking machine but people act like he's on the same level ronaldo and messi were. If u look at these shots he's just very lucky to have such a team around him. The kind of deliveries he gets and the amount of open goal and 1 on 1 chances City players create for him is mental.
Bro, to say he is overhyped you must have someone in comparison, right? No one comes close to his scoring at the moment. But I agree that he just disappears in some important matches. So does every other striker. Now you might say, he is surrounded by the best group of players. So was Aguero. He had even better team around "centurions". Didnt score as much as Haaland. You can individually point out some of his weaknesses like link up play etc.. but some strong points of his just shadows it.
As I've said, he will never be better than Messi and Ronaldo unless he brings something else to the table than just goals. Doesn't matter how many goals he will score, since, as much as his number of goals is outstanding, most of these are not impressive ones. What differentiates him from Messi and Ronaldo is that yes, he's an incredible finisher, but the fact that he can't pass or dribble like they could, especially Messi, will never make him greater unless he improves in these two domains. (I'm saying this bc some ppl compare and say he will be better)

I think haaland is capable of improving but because of pep's tactics he's not really allowed to do more and even if he does... i dont think anyone could reach messi or ronaldo especially messi... maybe mbappe is the closest one cuz of his dribbling and playmaking skills but no.
