The thing about the girl from The Ring, in Scary Movie 3, one of the characters did try fighting her, and was doing good at first, but then TV girl got right back up, smiled, and started mixing the woman up until she died.

Also, these movie characters be op in the books and novels I swear. The girl from the ring can bend reality and really is only stopped by divine intervention. The FNAF characters are powered by agony and remnant, and remnant is as powerful or more powerful than zero point energy, and a light bulb powered by it could basically erase every ocean in the world, and those animatronics can jump across hallways in seconds and punch caves in. Long post below. Tl;dr: It would be a tossup depending on the situations. Predators can be either a tossup on how to handle them. If they are normal, just don't carry a weapon or make yourself look like you can put up a fight. If they are on that Badbloods, then you are dead because they are all about the kill. Carrie is less about taking her down and more about following the rule of "Be nice to the quiet kid!" If anything, if I was a teen at that school, I'd been her friend and tried to help her deal with her crazy mom. Sure the rest of the school would be an issue, but if she could learn to control the powers then she would be alright. Killer Clowns = shotgun with birdshot. Aim for the head and don't let them know beforehand. They may be creepy, but that is a better reason to aim for the red nose. The Nun is actually a demon, so you would need holy powers to handle it. Just because it was weak in that movie did not mean it is weak all around. Interesting enough, the entity from It follows could be seen by other people if it is covered by something and it could be stopped for a time if shot in the head. Also, it doesn't actively hurt those that are not it's current target unless they are trying to prevent it. With that in mind, if it can be trapped and locked away in a container, then it can't perform it's task. Likewise, if somebody rich (or with enough political pull) was able to get the creature into space somehow, then it could be launched away from the planet (possibly towards the sun). It is affected by gravity, so it wouldn't escape till it has a way off whatever planet or star it is trapped on and by then all it's victims would be gone (as long as no one is spreading it around to the younger generation that is). Samara from the Ring ....... I never watched the Ring but from what I have heard and read, it isn't as easy as turn off the tv / break the tv/ attack the ghost. Turning off or unplugging the tv will just have her turning it on or powering it anyway. Swinging on her.... well I hope you got special abilities yourself because that spirit got them. Talk 2 me is the situation where you don't let intrusive thoughts win unless said thoughts are telling you to run / get rid of the object. Honestly, I had friends who were messing with a Ouija board and I told them flat out I am not about that life. Even when they pulled one out at a small party, the rest of the people were into doing it but my behind was in the corner away from it along with all the pets. FNAF is a tossup as well. Game version = No way to beat that permanently unless it is scorched earth by military followed with a united consecration by multiple religions and a lake of holy water. Got to make sure the evil is gone and hopefully the kids souls would go free. As for the Movie version, probably have to take a page from Nicholas Cage in Willy's Wonderland.

The it follws monster would body most people. You can't just run because it is smart enough to use public transportation. If the person you give the curse to isn't fast enough to give it to someone else or dies before they have sex, it would just come back to you. Im also pretty sure it doesn't work on other species. The only real way I can think of is to help multiple people down the line to pass the curse on from you so that even if they die, you would be long dead from old age.
