I always do a base coat when using the flower tips. That way the cake stays moist and it there is no naked cake showing. It makes the flowers pop just a tiny bit more! :)

My family and I, are doing great. My mom and I are baking together. Actually my mom is cooking and I'm baking. We are staying safe, staying home, healthy, and only going out for groceries and other necessities. I hope you and your husband stay safe, stay home, and healthy,(except for the necessities).
