Unsurprisingly, I see a lot of comments about the superficial aspects of plastic surgery. Just wanted to remind everyone that, yes, they perform surgeries for cosmetic enhancements, but please don't forget that plastic surgeons also help burn victims, accident victims, and many other people with medical disorders. Their skills are vitally needed.
@ruhulshayar1145
@ruhulshayar1145 2 года назад
I think you are mistaking plastic surgery for reconstructive surgery,plastic surgery is a very broad general terminology which comprises different fields of surgery which have similar aspects and may be done by the same surgeon,but they are different in terms of goal and objectives , approaches. Cosmetic surgery which people more often use synonymously with plastic surgery is a subspecialty. Reconstructive surgery is another one. The examples you are giving falls under the reconstructive one.

I don't know why people are so angry at the people who get plastic surgeries. It's basically similar to getting hair cut or mani-pedi. Only difference is not many people can afford it.

I just watched the 'Every Major Tool A Heart Surgeon Uses | Expert Toolbox' episode, and it's interesting that both specialties are highstakes but for different reasons. Like, Plastics is small structures, extremely fine tissues, extremely delicate, no room for cosmetic error. While Cardiology is live or die, very small structures, tubular structures, any errors can cause massive complications. It's very surreal.

It's something she does every day, before she even started she had been reading, studying and practicing techniques for years on end, so she obviously became desensitized to this stuff. The tools are beautiful and I can not agree more. Because every instruments got their specific function and you can ONLY get it done with such tools, respectively. Being a surgeon is not easy, it takes years of practice to fix someone and save their life. If you have ever made jewelry before, it requires specific tools to put the attachments, clampers, rings etc. Then you'd know how useful tools become to create that beautiful piece of jewelry.
