Every Man's Bible - An Honest Review (of a manly-man’s Bible!) 

This was the first Bible I read through from start to finish. Took me 18 months, but I did it. I think what ultimately helped me was that it was in the NLT translation which is such as easy read. Will always treasure this Bible for the fact that it was my first read through

Personally, I love this Bible. It will teach you how to go through life as a man of God.perfect for new believers or someone wanting to grow their relationship.

I love your reviews, brother. I ordered this bible yesterday before seeing this review, and I'm still excited to receive it tomorrow. I want to take it to my mens group, church worship, and helping me lead my own mens small group. I'm semi-retired, been a Christian since 1979, and am compelled to lead others to jesus as todays world seems to get crazy each month. I already have a dozen big thick study bible and / or commentaries. NIV 84 TCRB, CSB EGB , CSB TESB, ESV SB, NLT ISB, NKJV FSB, The Salvation Bible Comentary, The Bible Knowledge Commentary and All the Geneoligies of the Bible. Some of the I bought after watching your reviews over the last couple of months when I discovered your channel on YT. It still looks quite weighty in your hands, so I am glad it doesn't have all the things you pointed out, or it would be even heavier to take to church, and yes, it appears overly simplified in areas, as you mentioned. But I was specifically looking for a bible for men that covers some men issues. It's a step in the right direction for my purpose. Are there other bibles or😢 study bibles specifically for men? Are there some small group ble study book for men you recomend? I'm excited more than ever to be about building The Kingdom. God bless ya, brother.

I have this Bible it is simple and I agree overly summarized but personally I like that. I want a little bit of added insight in my Bible but I want to do most of the interpretation or critical thinking on my own

My mom just got me this Bible. I am very excited to get back into reading. I am going to try and read through the OT by before my birthday :)

I just got this bible (wife let me pick it out) after using my previous bible for 30 years. I'm excited about it, but I think I'm already having regrets about study/notes ability within the bible. No cross references, as DD says, the notes are not very interpretive but rather how the text impacts your life, smallish white space/area to take notes, questing my choice.

Do the comments in this bible make your daily struggle any wiser/better or anything? Is it worth buying non-Large print edition?

Do you think the niv version of this would add more history? I don’t know what Bible to get my husband who is a new Christian

I believe this is more of a devotional support version and not a study Bible as you seem to have expected or wanted. Having been married, I believe and support that men are highly focused on singular study with explanations/perceptions, therefore, this version is best available for men's challenges. Many men will not go out and buy single books on their issues, but will choose or read a gift Bible just for them. Men and their hyper singular focus is God's design, so this version is in line with this.

How can you compare Vegas to sodom and Gomorrah. Vegas is nothing like that. I live in Vegas. Yes things like that May on the Las Vegas strip but that’s not the whole city. Just one section. There are a lot of Churches in Vegas. There are actually more churches than Casino’s please don’t label a whole city to a 2.8 mile of piece of land like Las Vegas Blvd. There is more to Vegas than what you see on TV. Have you ever been here. If you have you definitely haven’t left the strip. We are a city just like any other. So please don’t mislead and misrepresent a city you don’t live in. 90% of the perceptions about Las Vegas are not actually true. You should really come Las Vegas and explore our great and rich history. In actually you’re judging Vegas based on the opinions of others and that sir is not Biblical.

You mentioned masturbation and the Catholic Church. First, there is only One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. Second, its Catechism says this: CCC 2352 By masturbation is to be understood the deliberate stimulation of the genital organs in order to derive sexual pleasure.
