Men, if you are on the fence BUY THIS BIBLE! I have had the regular print for 6 years now and I absolutely love it. It was a gift from my wife before I was baptized and it really helped me understand what I never thought I could! It has become a right of passage for my boys to receive their Men's Bible when they turn 18, each passing their Teen Bible down to the next. Get to give my second son his in a few days and he is excited! Sending hints to the wife for one of these Large Print, Genuine Leather (preferably indexed) now that my eyes are getting worse and almost every page of my current one is written on!

This is an AWESOME Bible! I won the NIV Deluxe Explorer Edition for my Nephew in a great Bible Giveaway (Saved by GRACE on RU-vid). I like it so much I am getting one for myself. I am female, and women would love this Bible too in my opinion. 💁🏽 It is well organized with a lot of helpful information. Great for young men and older men. Wonderful Review!

In regards to the ribbons, those should be important to everyone. Because you don't even have to open the Bible to know if the words go into the gutter. Just look at the width of the ribbon, is it thin? if it is, the words go in the gutter. if it's wide, then there's plenty of room in the gutter, and that Bible will be easy to read. this one has a very thin ribbon, which makes me question, how badly does it go into the gutter?

I bought this bible. And confused the every day bible verses do i just read them and jump around the chapters? And then by the end of the year it interlocks all the verses and books? So im pretty much reading multiple chapters at a time throughout the year?

My son is a non-believer and will be graduating high school this coming June, would you recommend this Bible for him? I have been looking for a Bible he can turn to if he has questions but is too afraid to ask anyone while he is out on his own after graduation.

I’d recommend the ESV study bible because it’s chalk full of solid answers and tools. I have a handful of reviews on it here on the channel. And I’d say..don’t just buy it for him. If he’s game…commit to sitting down and reading it with him.

@@ClaimingChristianity Thank you for such a quick response! He currently lives in CA with his dad who is an atheist. I just remember our church giving us bibles upon graduation and knowing that he won’t get that there and wanting to provide him with something for when he is ready to start seeking answers.

Honestly, I don’t have a great answer for you unfortunately. I don’t have the other editions in my possession as of now. So I can’t speak all that knowledgeably. But usually there are just slight changes to one or to elements of the production. Maybe a nicer cover. Maybe it’s heard towards a specific man (job, age, struggle etc) and they have an extra article or two.

I know this is an old comment, but figured I would provide a response for future viewers. The only difference in the versions is the cover material and design. I have purchased 4 of these now for myself and my teenage sons, and all of them are identical inside! Its actually a blessing during our daily study together as we can reference page numbers. I am not sure if the page numbers on the large print are the same as I am waiting for mine to arrive.

Not sure what you mean by “Catholic Bible”. If you mean does it have the additional texts the Roman Church added to the 66 books of the official canon. (Apocrypha) no.

Genuine leather is leather pieces glued together. Not for durability by any means.

Sure. A lot of the “helps” are aimed at men so they deal with more guy issues. But you could sure learn something from it. Also the text of scripture is the same only the study material is aimed at men. But it’ll that’s what you got. It’s still a bible.

What exactly are you looking for in a study Bible? Are you looking for my help some things are in the females? Or just a really good quality Study Bible?
