Netflix should own this list for offering the 'darkest' (in a great way) renditions of Marvel characters. Daredevil is still one of my favorite series.... there's a reason why Charlie Cox is to Daredevil as RDJ is to Ironman.
Pretty weird to call I Am Groot the worst, when you admit there's nothing wrong with it, and other shows are outright bad. It's meant to be a fun throwaway, so knocking it for that fact seems weird.
Agreed, I dunno why it was included anyway being a shorts collection. But I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with any of these. They either worked for you or they didn't. Being Marvel productions they are all done incredibly well whether or not we like the writing. I love everything on here released before Ms Marvel, by then I had tapped out because I just can't keep watching stuff for the sake of watching something else. But I'm OG Netflix universe forever, each show was soooo good at being something completely different, and David Tennant as Kilgrave is the best villain we've had so far IMO
@Oroku_Sensei can't agree with that but that's okay. Danny sucked so bad but I think everything else was fantastic. To have a crappy lead definitely puts it low on the list tho, for sure
The channel want to "win" the heart of the muslim/Indian subcontinet people putting one of the WORST shows/film about their culture ever made.Instead of that WTC sacrificed what if and i am groot.just shame !😐
I still think Agent Carter was their best show. I can't believe no one watched it. Can you imagine if they released smart shows like that now? She-Hulk was an atrocity.
If I remember correctly, at the time when it was released, the MCU was still green. Not only was it a different landscape for television but Marvel on TV wasn't just going to be accepted yet, by the time it was it was too late
I still like Jessica Jones the most. The later seasons weren't able to keep up with the awesome 1st season, but that season is it what, in my eyes, elevates it above Daredevil for me. Though in total, I have to agree. Also noticed there's a few shows I haven't even heard about ...
Troll list, Wanda Vision is not top 10. You remembered I Am Groot, but no *Werewolf by Night* ?? -weird as it was, and a single episode event, it's one of the best things the MCU has produced.
@@rorylynch7775 The list is title, "Marvel TV shows," and they included online material as well. A single episode event is still a show, number of episodes doesn't apply. At 53 minutes long it is definitely not a movie, so can not be called a made for "TV" movie. Also, it is clearly in MCU canon, while many on this list are officially not-canon.
I find the Iron First hate a little rediculous. It is NOT a bad show. The first season is about 4 episodes too long but then the second season was actually really good. Jessica Henwick's Colleen Wing was PERFECT.
The biggest problem with the show is the titular character. He's so bland and is the least interesting character in his own show, as well as the fact that he's supposed to be one of the best trained fighters in the marvel universe but has serious difficulty fighting random henchmen.
Moon Knight deserved to be higher. Oscar's performance in the Asylum episode alone is one of the best things in the MCU. That hour was a juggernaught and my emotions were all over the place
My list: 1. Loki 2. Moon knight 3. Agents of shield 4. Agent Carter 5. Hawkeye 6. Echo 7. Wanda vision Last is tied between she hulk, and secret invasion Fox/ Netflix shows not included as I have yet to watch them
Why Echo and She Hulk are so high? You forgot Modok and Hitmonkey, which are way bettter than most of the rest. Punisher was good, but not better than Wandavision or Loki.
Wandavision sucked once it became a mess, first few episodes were great then fell down a hole. Then there's the fact it's absolutely useless to the film. As for Loki, same issue, decent start then fell down hill fast. S2 is wildly better and kills off all the tropes from s1. Punisher is better than both of them put together.
Jessica Jones is proof that a woman can be a compelling lead character in the MCU. I personally loved Ms Marvel because I grew up around people like Kamala and it was so refereshing to see stories that involved the cultural nuances that I’m familiar with. Incels hate and say we shouldn’t cast women as leads, I disagree. We should instead focus on hiring writers that know and understand the characters they’re writing about- regardless of gender. See Deadpool in Fox’s Xmen or Pablo Schreiber’s Master Chief on Halo. We’ve been let down in those stories not because the casting wasn’t good- it’s ALL in the writing.
If She-Hulk is down in the 20s, that must mean most of the TV shows I haven't seen are pretty good since I quite enjoyed She-Hulk. Pretty much the entire way through.
I stopped watching after seeing the placement of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., It should be number one and was the show that really tied over audience when the pandemic happened, plus you just can't get enough of Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, and I truly hope him and S.H.I.E.L.D. return to the MCU, it truly needs them.
She Hulk is my least favorite. It's not the 4th wall breaking that I don't like, I just didn't like the execution of the 4th wall breaking, it was just too grating for a series that ties into the main MCU, especially using the 4th wall to affect the ending in the finale
I think my top 10 (from best to worst) is Daredevi, Loki, The Punisher, Wandavision, Agents Of Shield, Legion, Agent Carter, werewolf by night, What IF, and Hawkeye.
From What I've Seen: 1. Agents of Shield 2. Daredevil 3. Loki 4. Wandavision 5. The Punisher 6. Hawkeye 7. Falcon and Winter Soldier 8. Moonknight 9. What If...? 10. Ms. Marvel 11. Agent Carter 12. Secret Invasion 13. She-Hulk 14. Echo 15. I am Groot
Agents of SHIELD deseres to be top 5. Or at the very least above Hawkeye and Loki. The Defenders was very disappointing and should be lower (the Hand were a terrible villain). The Falcon and the Winter Soldier should be a few spots higher... and did you just call Zemo and Walker "middling"?! They were the standouts of the show, aside from Carl Lumbly's character! I haven't seen I Am Groot, but if there is 1nothing wrong" with it, how is it worse than Inhumans? Inhumans is one of the worst TV shows I've ever seen.
Ms Marvel rated way too high. Falcon and Winter Soldier rated way too low. Otherwise, the list seems reasonable. Daredevil is a master class in how to do fight scenes.
A smack down on Disney. But in that, I would rate Loki number 1 and Punisher number 2. I can understand why Loki is number 5 because it is such a mind bender. But worth watching multiple times. An absolute fun adventure though. The punisher was fantastic as well. I find his mental health issues, and the story better than Jessica Jones. Dare devil and iron fist felt like kids playing in the backyard as superheros and just didn’t feel right. I also actually liked she-hulk. I thought it was a fun series, separate from the other shows. Sometimes, you just need that easy going fun show that doesn’t make you think, but has a fun slant to the SH genre.
Runaways also had some of the hottest moms for a YA oriented series in TV history. I follow three (now sadly two) of those moms on the social. When a top notch beauty as Ever Carradine is 4th hottest of the 5 moms, you know they are hot (and diverse). One Runaway actress you will NOT be seeing down the line is Annie Wersching (d. 1-29-2023)
I definitely rank The Runaways higher on my own list. That show was such a fever dream but in the best way. Damn it was good. I think that era of marvel tv was just right.
Helstrom only got one season because it was made by marvel tv before it was absorbed by marvel studios. They spent money on it so released it anyway. It was always getting cancelled after 1 season. That animated modok was the same and that only lasted 1 season as well.
Firstly that show came out before the Marvel TV (or the MCU for that matter) even existed, so it's not even in the same universe. It's a show featuring a Marvel character, not a show officially made by Marvel. Secondly, that show was so awful everyone agrees to pretend like it doesn't happen.
@@rorylynch7775 get off your high horse, it is a Marvel property attached to the character who essentially gave us the superhero movies we have today. I’m more than aware of how bad it was and that it would have took worst spot. I was interested in what kind of humour would have been used to discuss it. For gods sake, gate keep much?
No. 1, 2, 3, 11, 13, 15, & 22, Me: I just wanna see Jessica Jones and Luke Cage get back together, get married, and have a baby daughter together named after his best friend now that these shows are now canonical to the MCU Sacred Timeline now
My ranking: 1. Daredevil 2. Moon knight 3. Secret invasion 4. Hawkeye 5. Falcon and the winter soldier 6. The gifted 7. Defenders 8. Wandavision 9. Ms marvel 10. Loki 11. Echo 12. She hulk
I think the MCU is in a quandary where people are burnt out so they try to do something different and when they do the fans think it's too weird. I really enjoyed She Hulk and loved Wandavision but admit there was some pandering in the former,
didn't say they were bad, just disappointing. there's been an obvious drop in quality since Infinity War. Captain Marvel was the first MCU movie that I was actually bored watching. I didn't like Endgame as much as infinity war. The only thing I liked about Spider Man No Way Home was Tobey and Andrew, other than that the villains motives didn't make any sense.
So if you did an aggregate of the major reviewers (Rotten/IMDB/Meta) it comes out: 1) Legion 2) Daredevil 3) Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 4) WandaVision 5) Loki 6) Jessica Jones 7) Agent Carter 8) Moon Knight 9) Hawkeye 10) What If...? 11) Luke Cage 12) I Am Groot 13) The Falcon and The Winter Soldier 14) Ms. Marvel 15) The Punisher 16) Runaways 17) The Defenders 18) Cloak and Dagger 19) The Gifted 20) Echo 21) Helstrom 22) Iron Fist 23) Secret Invasion 24) She-Hulk: Attorney at Law 25) Inhumans
Aside from its wonky ending, I will never understand the hate She-Hulk gets. It was a legal comedy, akin to Ally McBeal. God forbid there be actual levity in the quip-laden MCU. Anyone who dislikes it is part of the incel-focused version of Intelligencia. (Hyperbole... calm down, actual incels. Your shame is legitimate, don't freak out.)
There's so much wrong with this ranking list. Daredevil wasn't that bad, and kicking I am groot in the balls (figuratively) is unfair when There's actual abominations, but anyways, it's pretty funny that shows like daredevil and Peggy carter would be considered master pieces by today's standars by marvel fans, because of how bad MCU content has become (Ms marvel, She-Hulk, Quantunmania, The marvels.) There's more bad than good to say about the MCU and it's honestly sad.
