My favorite thing is that during instrumentals, prog shows are exactly the way you showed them, with James Labrie drinking backstage, nowhere to be seen.
I used to be a bassist for a black metal band, I wasn't allowed to record anything... Or play anything... Come to think of it... Was I even in the band?
Bro the level of talent it actually takes to play something to parody so well that you capture the aspects of each individual genre while still making it comically over the top is out of this world. What a great way to start my morning lol
@@blackwomb8761 I thought you were talking about the genre in general,so I recommended my top 3,If you want something more "underground" there's element eigthy

As someone who's addicted to Grindcore, I admit this was pretty accurate. And it's amazing how he succeed to play all Grindcore songs one after having amazing 4 seconds. That's 2 seconds more than the whole time necessary for doing it
Beautiful lyrics. Truly moving stuff. But no honestly your screams are kinda good, might wanna look into being a vocalist. Also nice Pokemon theme you threw in there.
I've been trying to understand the differences between genres for days and this is both helping and confusing me further lol Update: i know the difference now, though itd be so hard to explain with words lmao
There are pretty drastic differences in vocal style, drumming, tempo, rhythm, riffing and even instrumentation. Just one example of the difference between death and black metal: the former uses downturned guitars playing dissonant riffs with heavy double bass drums and deep growls while the latter uses somewhat slower rhythms and heavy use of blastbeats with much simpler, tremolo picked style riffs and most importantly high pitched screeching rather than growling
Death Metal was inspired by bands such as Slayer and Death. Hardcore was inspired by bands such as Terror and Biohazard. Combines those two together and you get? Deathcore. Death Metal riffs, Hardcore breakdowns, Guitar solos, Pig squeals, Gravity Blast, and Lots of Growls and Screech’s. Yup… Hardcore Deathmetal. If you need further assistance, then please ask anyone in the comments, thanks for asking for further assistance 👍🏼
i just wanna say, i was sick when i was watching this. and some weird shit happens when something is really stupidly funny turns into me gasping for breath laughing when i am sick. thank you for the entertainment bradley!
Dude, you're so talented as a frontman. I'm serious man, ditch the axe and get behind the mic! It's your true calling. Embrace the call, it radiates from you. Namaste.
Went to my first grindcore show a couple of weeks ago, this video was the first thing that popped into my head when the show started. It is an absolute spot on representation
@@darthvader9173"Grajdanskaya Oborona" - soviet and russian punk and psychedelic rock band founded by Egor Letov. Sound's this parody of folk metal sounds similar like one the most popular song of "Grajdanskaya Oborona" - "Moya Oborona" (My Defense). Sorry for my bad English:/
You nailed. Every. Single. One. Bradley! I am sure some Nu Metal fans will be hiney hurt, but you summarized the essence! And you managed to capture Nightwish in just 7 seconds!
