Thank you to all of you who watched my baseball videos this season. It was a lot of work but a lot of fun. Getting the great feedback from you guys made it all worthwhile. Hope to see you guys next baseball season (whenever that is).
As an Astros fan I have to agree that this post season that the braves were absolutely the best they had so many great hitters that were so powerful I just the hope the Astros make it back to the playoffs again this year 💪🏽
Thank you for the White Sox segments, we deserved a spot in the postseason and we surely didn’t get swept we gave them a sore spot. Wish we could’ve went further.
As a fellow White Sox fan this past season shows that we're right on the cusp of having a World Series contending team again. We definitely have a team that can compete.
@@averybuffington7989 don’t think you’ve ever heard of LA traffic, and you pretty dumb to think that, Taylor’s walk off in the WC, Cody’s 3 run home run to tie it. Dodger stadium is electric, sad bro get out here with that. Even Trea turner said he loves to play in LA during the playoffs.
Went to Game 3 of the World Series, first WS game ever, and to say the TV doesn't do the noise level justice is a bit of an understatement, especially when we all slowly realized that d'Arnaud's flyball was going much further than the outfield grass. Can only begin to imagine how loud game 4's crowd was in-person when Swanson and Soler brought down the house.
Jose Altuve has both of Houston’s World Series Homers. That shows how dominant the Braves pitching was in that series. Imagine only hitting 2 home runs in the World Series with your opponent hitting 11.
For as much as an Achille's Heel the bullpen had been during so many past Braves playoff runs, especially during the stretch of 14 division titles in a row, to have the bullpen be as dominant as it was this postseason made it feel all the sweeter as a fan! The Night Shift (Minter, Jackson, Matzek, and Smith) will be a part of Atlanta sports lore forever.
8:00 -- no, no, Dusty. Don't say 'oh, Lord' just yet, save that for all the Braves' HRs during the WS, lol. :) A little hard to believe Houston only had 2 solo dingers in the WS, both off Altuve's bat.
@@FrankieG Yeah they only had 2 good offensive games in the World Series, also in the postseason a good majority of their runs were scored without the HR.
@@theman1412 Usually it's a good thing when you don't rely on the HR to score runs. But you can't strand baserunners when you have the chance to put the hammer down. Astros TBH lost the series after the first inning of game 4.
@@FrankieG the offense went cold, the pitching staff was rough. Despite how good the team is, considering how hot the Braves were it would be a miracle if they won it.
@@Htown_sports_dude I wasn’t saying I was a braves or Astro’s fan. There was nothing to watch. So I watched the series. But yes Astro’s fans were mad after going losing the last couple of games
The first thing I thought of when I saw that homer from Jorge Soler in Game 6 against the Astros was Albert Pujols going way deep off of Brad Lidge in the 2005 NLCS. It was that iconic
@@ykJvacano Crazy the Redsox played 6 less games and hit 2nd most. We can assume they would have crushed the total if they beat the Stros. I am a Braves Fan btw. Glad we didn't see the Sox honestly.
@@stevenroberts614 you guys are lucky we just depleted after game 4 of the Alcs lol, nah fr tho, Boston vs Atlanta would’ve been a way better WS matchup, a wild card team and an 88 win team
I love how even just a highlight of home runs shows the march of all the playoff teams and the dwindling down of teams to the last 2 standing. Aww 2021, even 2023 seems like another time, long ago before major league baseball made the decision they no longer liked offense and homeruns in particular and clearly fiddled with the ball again. Like 2019 only the opposite. Which is crazy when if you took the Braves crazy numbers away 2023 wasn't an out of the ordinary launching pad.
Crowds Ranked from most quiet to most loud 10. Cardinals [Dead Silent in LA] 9. Yankees [Were not loud in Fenway] 8. Rays [Its Tropicana Field what do I have to say] 7. Giants [It didn’t sound too loud there] 6. Brewers [Not too loud, good crowd though 5. Dodgers [Great energy in LA] 4. Astros [It can get so loud there] 3. White Sox [That crowd for game 3 was just insane] 2. Red Sox [It was extremely loud there the entire postseason, can admit. I was there] 1. Braves [Champs. Sounds so loud there. Noise increases as it goes. So damn loud at Truist
As a Sox fan watching this again, gotta say even though they lost in the ALCS. I was overjoyed to see them send those cocky Rays home so they can raise another garbage banner.
Soler’s home run was the most exciting thing I’ve watched in baseball. 109.6 exit velo, 466 feet, and it literally left the stadium. The split second I heard the crack of the bat, I knew we were World Series Champions!
11:28 you can literally hear the announcer saying "yes. yes." when belli hit the homer. I can only imagine that if that were the braves he would have been far less excited.
Oh those 2 guys were drooling for the Dodgers that entire series to the point it was almost unbearable to watch. Always replayed everything Dodgers, for example in game 1 Chris Taylors home run to get them past the Cardinals. Not once did they show Freddie Freeman....the reigning MVP's home run against the Brewers to send them to the NLCS. But I'm glad you pointed out one of them saying "yes yes" when Bellinger hit that bomb. Further proves my point.
I feel like our Dodgers have announcers that love them but I also feel like there are also announcers that can't stand them..its in the middle I don't think they got favored at all actually during this year either..hardly any Dodger post from MLB..most I saw was the padres actually..but that's my opinion. I also don't think it was inappropriate of him to say yes yes, it wasn't meant to offend anyone..he got excited
@@drewbyxo They claimed that HR was only 446 & only the 4th longest in World Series history. I want a 2nd opinion. Maybe the computer stopped tracking it at 446 when it went behind the tracks but I’m thinking it was close to if not longer than 500.
This post season was so fun from a Sox fan, I just wanted them to beat the Yankees, they did that, and so much more. The walk offs and grand slams were amazing, I only hope next year is just as fun.
When Rosario hit that HR against LA in the deciding game, I jumped out of my chair and then no lie before it landed I was down on my laptop booking hotel rooms for the WS.
Texas Rangers were upset in '11 to the Cards, ten years later Houston falls to Atlanta. Does Texas naturally have good bad teams in the pros? CWS really got me thinking this year. I'll give Houston kutos for playing us in the World Series and putting up with everyone who thought they had cheated their way to victory.
Dodgers had to fight tooth and nail to beat the giants and the cardinals but I was sad when we played against Atlanta with no healthy players. Was a good run though
The absolute best Postseason ever, you never knew what was gonna happen. I mean the Red Sox hit 3 Grand Slams in the same series and lost. The unbeatable Dodgers couldn’t keep going against Atlanta. Atlanta hits a grand slam in the first inning of Game 5 and lost that game. However I gotta say Atlantas crowds were amazing. I went to Game 4 of the World Series and after Swanson and Soler went back to back, you could barely hear anything for the rest of the game.
Seeing those jerseys again really reminds me how horribly nike has screwed up baseball uniforms this year. After seeing the monstrosities that are the new uni's they look even better. Why they screwed with the Braves uniforms is beyond me. Changing the piping that was white to red is ridiculously bad looking. Which likely explains why they have only worn their away alternates twice this year. They removed the white strip after the sleeves stripes and now giving it a Phillies vibe. But they still weren't done as they changed the Braves most distinguishing feature removing the Braves unique belt loops. At least they weren't dumb enough to do that to the home unis
