Everybody loves a good reaction. Twitter | / exeeditsmlb Instagram | / exeedits Facebook | / exeedits * I do not own any of the clips that I upload. All clips belong to Major League Baseball.
I'll agree to that. Although its been a while since they went to a WS but, the fans still travel amazingly well and root for their team as good as any I've seen even if the team is bad during a season. Watching the fans in Seattle for example it almost feels like I'm in Toronto.
0:02 one of the best moments, Puig hits a shot to take the lead and drops the bat celebrating, fans cheer super loud , the pitcher slams his glove in frustration while everyone celebrating the moonshot, not to mention KOBE in the background celebrating 😔
Eduardo Rodriguez actually apologized for reacting that way, but I don't understand why. As a Sox fan I just felt it showed how hard he was trying and how much he cared. Also, Ortiz is a treasure.
The Rodriguez thing was perfect for baseball. It needs more emotions. Player shouldn't have to APOLOGIZE for showing emotion. Also I felt bad for E-Rod, but that added to the emotion of the game, made it more interesting to watch from a pure baseball fan standpoint. The emotion in that game made the outcome that much more interesting. Yes, Ortiz is amazing :D
The thing I don't get is Eduardo gets praised for this but when Carson Smith slammed his glove in the dugout earlier in the season he got thrashed for it. (I know he got injured) I agree stuff like this needs to be focused on more shows how much passion some of these guys have for the game
Best reaction I’ve ever seen is dcs reaction to Juan Soto putting the nationals ahead against the brewers. It was the first time the nationals showed up in an elimination game. So much beer and popcorn was flying. So much electricity.
So many iconic moments but 11:55 sticks out to me. In the modern era we’re used to seeing team, staff waiting at home to greet the hero but to see the manager or coach out there chasing down the guy as he’s coming up on third, just so overjoyed, that was a good one
One of the best experiences in my life was being at the Orioles/Tigers series. That game was so electric you could hear the crowd four blocks away from the stadium! By far one of the best sports experiences ever!
0:43 Proof that the love of teammates thrives even after one retires... and Big Papi is still a big kid and fan of the game in his heart. Lifelong Indians fan, but anyone outside of New York can't help but love the guy.
For anyone who remembers the White Sox World series run, I love watching these broadcast versions of the Koenerko Grand Slam in game 2. My view was completely different. I was at the game in section 147 (3rd base line behind dugout). The Cell was absolutely rocking. So much I swear it felt like an earthquake. Never heard a crowd so loud in my life. Still give me chills to this day.
Definitely feel that Toronto has an advantage being in another country. I know it’s not that big a deal to go to Canada but I feel like their whole crowd is Blue Jays fans
Also because of your silly immigration laws regarding DUI and domestic violence, the most obnoxious American fans can't even go to the games if we wanted to. I know from experience.
If you don't think every team in the MLB is cheating in some way you simply dont understand the nature of sports and competition. You live in a fantasy world.
Geez gotta love baseball. You have your lows and your highs and yes sometimes it can be boring but my god these moments leave such a special place in your life when they happen
That season gave me so much hope as an O’s fan. It was so painful to see them lose to the royals. I was so disappointed when they blew it, it gave me so much hope that they’d actually do something that year but now they’re just consistently bad year after year.
That mid 2010s era of blue jays was so fun to watch. I don't know if i've ever witnessed such a visceral reaction as Bautista's homer. Lots of years of frustration as fans, not just in baseball, but for sports fans in toronto ... it was finally a moment to cheer about!
Game 5 ALDS 1995 Edgar Martinez double down the third base line to score the tying run Joey Cora and the winning run from first base Ken Griffey Jr sending them to their first ever ALCS and saving baseball in Seattle as we know it.
Probably the best reaction in (somewhat) recent baseball is Jarrod Dyson hitting a grand slam, and watching the two All-stars at the time (Eric Hosmer and Salvador Perez) jump out of shock and surprise and excitement, congratulating him, all while that smug bastard acts like he meant to do it. Love it.
For round 2, you really need to include Carlton Fisk in Game 6, 1975. I was pulling for the Reds, and was glad they won Game 7, but Fisk's "Stay fair" motion was and is a classic.
17:39 I was 8 years old and attended that game 7. And I'll tell you I have never felt anything more electric than when Edgar hit that single to give the Marlins the win. That stadium was called Pro Player at the time formerly and it was huge. It was at capacity so there were almost 70,000 people at the game. It felt like the stadium was going to come down 😂 Even when the fans did the wave. Since there were so many people there and everybody participated it felt as if an eathquake was striking. I went with my father and we had great 3rd base side seats. One of the best experiences of my life. Nothing like it. You gotta love baseball 👍
Right after Puigs homers, When moreland homers, Puig puting his hands on his head and smashing them into the ground Mookie Betts reaction on his Grand Slam
According to that strike zone box, the right side of the ball hit the corner, so yes... it was a strike. The entire ball doesn't have to be in the strike zone.
Honestly, not to fault the umpire, but yeah, that's a strike. I won't fault the umpire, because that's such a close call, I would probably call a ball if I were in his shoes. And he was well within his right to call it. But hindsight being 20/20, yeah, that was a strike.
I remember I was playing with my rec league team and we were watching the 2018 World Series game 3 on our phones in the Dugout. When we saw Puig hit the homer we went BALLISTIC. Running all around the field. Screaming our Asses off. We loved it. I miss playing Baseball
Whaddya mean Nyjer Morgan MAY have cost Washington a run?! HE DID!!!! 😝😝 Ain't nothing like that Joe Carter home run call, and Harry Kalas calling the final out of the Phillies' World Series clincher. 😊😊
Hey threw a little fit out there. Reminds me of little kids. Like tee-ball. Don't just throw down your glove then stand there. Go after the freaking ball.. He is an idiot lol.
