I absolutely LOVE how they did Tom & Jerry. It's just so true to the characters. They're up to their usual slapstick shenanigans, everyone else getting in their way is just collateral damage.

Of course bugs is a mage, he has unlimited control over reality

The details are great (like Finn who can buy items or B-MO from Choose Goose), but the fact that Tom instead of directely attacking other enemies tries to continuously hit Jerry is with every move is amazing! Imagine being Wonder Woman and accidentally being hit with a hammer by a cat trying to kill a mouse

Garnet having a hybrid playstyle is hilariously in-character given she is a fusion lmao

As a huge fan of Adventure Time the way you described finn at the start is ABSOLUTELY true to both the show and the game lmfao

Your commentary on the characters and move sets are both hilarious and informative. I've played a few fighting games here and there, but this game wasn't particularly on my radar. Although seeing this video really captured my attention and the way you described everything was legit fun to watch.

You were right mostly, but wrong about Taz. His tornado is pretty hard to deal with. Combining tornado and peppering stacks up damage really quickly not to mention if you can use his apple core range attacks as zoning.

I really love Finn's charged sword move, it has that "I'm gonna getcha I'm gonna getcha" feel.

you should do a video where you talk about characters you'd like to see in the game as DLC

steven also has some cool combos that use things like cancelling jabs with a neutral attack and jump at around the exact same time which gives way to some insane tech if steven doesn't seem techy enough yet, the neutral attack jump is call NAJ, and there's even a tech called DCJDS, which stands for Dodge Cancel Jump Down Special

Velma can crouch and move it’s just her looking for her glasses

The emphasis on status effects, cooldowns, passives, and defined team roles makes it feel like MultiVersus is almost meant to be a hybrid between a platform fighter and a MOBA like League of Legends. It's pretty neat how they are differentiating themselves from the Smash formula.

You have a very hilarious but informative way of explaining all this! Keeps me interested all the way through. It's amazing how they can make such unique concepts for a moveset seeing as Smash exists.

5:32 seriously, whoever went to program the AI in this game went too hard I had an opposing Lebron bot TBAG ON ME AFTER IT LITERALLY DUNKED ME, not just a small crouch up crouch up, A FULL T BAG. Like, bro, you didn’t need to make them THAT realistic

I’m playing Harley Quinn. I love her characteristics. Playing her is going to be fun.

I can’t explain how hard I laughed at the Tom and Jerry segment

Actually Shaggy was actually really good at fighting, only thing holding him back is fear, there's a scene I watched of him canonically going sicko mode because he lost his fears.

Shaggy actually is canonically an excellent fighter, even without Ultra Instinct memes. In one of the films, he’s hypnotised into losing his cowardice. He later beats up an entire biker gang, without throwing a single punch. The only thing changed about him was that he lost his cowardice. If he was more confident, he’d be practically unstoppable.

I'm so disappointed I didn't play this more, I got a key but only played it a few days before the alpha ended. Fin is definitely one of my favorites, he feels a bit like toon link but with the added money abilities he's got a lot of unexpected depth

6:44 garnets guantlets do a ton of knockback compared to her other moves and it comes out really fast, so its a good "get off me" move when someone is pressuring you on a ledge. also, paired with the signature perk that triggers the down special when you hit the side special, you can combo really good attacks

Jake was the first character I unlocked and is still my go to when I lose a match. If you know how to use him you can completely wreck people. His mace and axe attacks are absolutely brutal.

Okay so, when the game is a free-to-play and not an Alpha, I guess I know the three characters i'm trying first: - Garnet: Probably going to use more of the physical moves but damn, knowing how much I rush, those support traits are going to be a heaven's gift. - Tom & Jerry: I love controlling two characters in one, I mean, it makes me feel superior when I win in a impressive way. (Also, those two are my whole childhood so) - Jake: Is only because he reminds me of Rayman, and looks like a character that in a team becomes an absolute nightmare (Also, that chair idle reminds me of DMC Vergil and the joke of the plastic chair so extra points on that).

It feel so simple but somehow Finn being able to charge attacks while moving is so... Finn!

I'm making list of characters I think should make an appearance in this game. -Aquaman -Woody Woodpecker -John Snow -Any of the Anamaniacs -Whiley Coyote and Roadrunner -Rick Dastardly -Fred Flintstone -Pink Panther (Possibly others but I forgot the rest)

I think shaggy's move set is built around the episode where he ends up being hypnotized to actually be brave AKA the origin of the ultra instinct shaggy meme which is probably why he often has a yellow ore in the fighting game it seems as they likely have embraced the meme and incorporated it into the move set instead of just using its source material that spawn the meme itself

Damn what a good vid. I've just started playing and was looking into who to unlock first.. sadly this leaned me away from taz but toward... Just about everyone else lmao. I'm so sold especially on Jake, Tom and Jerry, and shockingly even characters I wasn't even thinking about before like Harley, supes and Velma.

As a bugs bunny main, I feel like when playing bugs you are obligated to use your all your perks to make cool downs faster. Still a very very fun character

Well I for one thought that Tom & jerry was one of the most perfect characters to make a playable fighter, I mean two enemies that tries to deal damage to eachother causing damage to others. That’s some gold right der’.
