Good conversation but be careful. If we dont have more women writings is not because of the Church. We cannot force people to do something. If we have a long list of women with essays ready for publishing and deseret book is holding them, then you got me but is not like that. Whether man or woman if someone doesnt have the desire to write and publish a book, we cannot force them to do it. If we just have like 4% of women publishing books that doesnt mean that they are put aside, maybe the 96% dont want to publish. As elder Maxwell said we have to use numbers within the right context. There is a book about priesthood and women written by barbara morgan thru deseret book so I dont see why try to slide the idea that the church is not doing enough in getting more women books pubished. If they dont want to write we cannot force them
