Happy New Year! Here are my favourites of the new 2020 & 2021 Digimon *Dokimon *Pistmon *Jellymon *Gurimon *Mimicmon *Omedamon *Runnermon *Abbadamon Core *Black Tailmon Uver *Gammamon

I adore digimon with the same reason as why I adore pokemon. They both have such unique designs in terms of monsters

Amazing how they are able to come up with new cool, and/or cute, designs to this day with little to no copies

I LOVE that Omedamon exists, I've always loved both Digimon and Medabots and it's crazy to see a mix of them

How can they come up with so many great design?? Digimon is such an underrated franchise

I love the ghost game designs. Idk what they were doing when creating them but they gotta do it more angoramon and gammamon I liked right as I saw them, but jellymon I thought I would hate but I love her to. After seeing her in ghost game plus loving the anime to the digimon really feel like a threat and these last two seasons have done so much lore wise and making sure the digimon all are unique. Digimon 2022 is shaping up to be an amazing year for the fandom.

I really like Itto Mode. I already really like base Gaioumon even if it is just what if Wargreymon was a samurai. But itto mode is just super cool to me even if it has a lot going on. Then again I also enjoy a lot of the complicated x antibody designs. On the other side of the spectrum I really like Canoweissmon. Its just a very slick design. Nothing too fancy but looks great.

But Lamortmon is the coolest GG ultimate Rabbits and bats have similar ear structures, and the aircraft motif/wind element was retained by going from copter to glider. More interesting than the other two imo

Sybare Angoramon kinda reminds me of a Renamon and Terriermon fusion. I often refer to him as a male Renamon or what a masculine form of Renamon would kinda look like since male kitsune do exist.

I honestly forgot all the digimons that appeared in Adventure 2020 apart from Negamom, Abaddomon, DoneDevimon and Eyesmon. It doesn't help that they were cramming like 5 new digis into a single episode of the seires. Gammamon is my favourite digimon ❤️

Not to spoil too much but Gulusgammamon's debut is very epic, definitely watch the anime

When the madlads gave Metal Greymon a railgun, you best run. Also hope the mode are added in the next Digimon game

I love how Digimon can come up with near thousands of designs, and still keep that digimon feel to them. But pokemon is struggling HARD to make new pokemon that feel like they are pokemon.

Bloom Lordmon is the best one, look at the details omg. I love the Ganvivormon but it breaks my heart for the backstory. Also Im in love with Mademon, its so cute ;-;

The cool thing about Alteros Mode is for a brief moment it looks like Skull Greymons arm before he gets the metal arm cannon thing

Interesting that they are including figures from Greek mythology when they used the Roman gods to form the group named Olympus XII. I suppose they are planning a conflict between mythologies.

Jellymon-Sama is my favorite, stole my heart since first appearance , also love the Pulsemon line

My favorite new Digimon is Komondomon, Black Tailmon Uver. and Wezen Gammamon.

Manticoremon, marin chimariamon and Regalecusmon are all super awesome to see but my Favorite has got to be Symbare Angoramon I have always been a fan of king kazma so I was always hoping for a pokemon or digimon that looked like him Scorbunny had so much potential in pokemon to come out a bit like him and it dropped the ball so hard so its great seeing this guy would love to play a game with him in it. Bloom lordmon and Abbadamon Core are also nice looking counter parts to royal knights so love to see that

I love aquatic digimon, so the majority of the new line I love, minus a couple that take on a too-human-design. I've always been more interested in the beast types, like dragons and bunnies and questionably shaped things (like the jelly-like babies/in-training lot, such as Poyomon and Kuramon) then the buff humanoid digimon, though every now and then I'll see one I really like, such as Lilithmon, Lucemon, and Antylamon (though the last one might be classified more as a beast mon then human XD). I also love the blue digimon, they're so eye catching for me~! Especially Eros Velgrmon, Eosmon (Perfect), Ghostmon, Gusokumon, and Morphomon. I also really want to use Tobiumon in a mainline game (not mobile). XD

cool video! personally loved all the pulsemon line n of the new trio main partner digimon, i prefer gammamon cuz hes the big baby (which you wanna protect but the little guy is the one doing it). another is the sistermon ciel in the this season. heck she went toe to toe with metalphantomon/metalfantomon (hes like ultimate/mega form right ?) or kinkakumon (i dont know why but loved seeing women-like digimon menacingly pose or beat stuff up with weapons, hahaha). the rest that i liked gulus gammamon (edgy gammamon XD) omedamon (robot fusion which is a plus for me) lord bloommon (beautiful design)

Bloomlordmon would fit in perfectly with the royal knights.

My top three are: Jellymon, DoneDevimon, and Abbadamon (Include its rookie form, Negamon).

Gammamon is the coolest protagonist since agumon himself. I feel like dracomon or dorumon are epic too but they got lost in wherever they were added into the digimon series.

Will the vital bracelets ever get a full english release like the digivice version 20th anniversary and dgivice x? I'd like a more reasonable price range for the bracelets and DIM cards... without having to buy in yen directly from Japan.

I had the Pulsemon => Namakemon => Tempomon => Achilessmon line in my VB, and I'm in love with my partner. We are such a team, even if I'm not the most physically active person around. All great designs! I wonder what your thoughts are on Tempomon, he's my fave out of the Pulsemon line.

Dark maildramon was from ps1game world 3. Crazy part the alter mode for greymon and garurumon ultimate are actually some parts taken from x antibody versions. You can really see it in the weregarurumon.

Dark Maildramon was a palette swap in Digimon World 3 for psx i think.

I like that HeavyLeomon exists; it feels like a more natural Mega for LoaderLiomon than the Baihumon Digivolution we saw in tri. I do like lore-wise that Gaiomon has beyond-Mega Mode Change to match the likes of Omnimon, Omnimon Zwart, and ShineGreymon Burst Mode for other Greymon-family Megas, but Itto Mode feels overdesigned like an X-Antibody variant; I have the same issue with Eosmon where the design is so busy that I feel like I can't tell what I'm looking at. Goromon is a perfect little In-Training for Gotsumon. Jellymon is a cool femme partner Digimon that feels refreshingly different from the plant/bird formulas set by Palmon and Biyomon, but I can't help but think of Splatoon every time I se it. xD

we sort of do have power scaling in the series, going basic of rookie beats rookie, champion beats champion and so and so. if we just need to if Gulus gammamon can also take on ultimate, then that part would become clearer. that and them getting to actually being allowed to finish enemy Digimon. exermon and angoramon line (since is actually 100 percent fluffiness with his Furr his more closer to symbare angoramon in body type before finally evolving into being actually big) besides the rest in ghost game i need to see them in action .

Both Digimon (up to season 3, maaaaaybe 4) and Medabot are top tier children anime for me. It's not that they are for children, but a celebration of childhood itself, that's why, even as an adult, I can go back and watch and enjoy it just as much as I did when I was 10 years old. Same thing with Studio Ghibli's Totoro. Omedamon by itself is already cool as fuck, but the fact that Medabots answered with their own version of ominimon/wargreymon/metalgarurumon is just crazy, makes my inner child want to scream like a little fan girl. lol
