@@purplehaze2358 The only genuinely obscure mods on this list are Luna Veil and Vitality mod. I think it is nice that he covered them, but they were pretty much just side notes compared to the time spent on the big mods.

all of this is very exciting, I do wonder how sga, enigma, polarities, and elements awoken are doing, they all seem to be really lacking spoilers or updates though I'm pretty sure they are all working towards 1.4, I hope all is going well for them. Same goes to split mod another mod I am very excited to see in 1.4, though I understand why there are time problems with the devs of this mod. I am excited to see what tmodloader will be like in a year from now
@@jimboanimations4041 I know elements awoken has been quiet but I'm sure progress is still being made. I know polarities wanted to end it here but I thought it was going to port before leaving it, and SGA it's sad that it was killed off but it was fun while it lasted
@@bruhgod123 Most likely will be a "high risk, high reward" type of weapon, where you have to get quite close at the right timing or you will miss your attack and have to wait for the cooldown to end, but if you do hit your "shot" then you will deal plenty of damage (from the weapon's animation, it looks really powerful, spinning around very quickly)
A lot is happening in the modding scene and it makes me very happy to see the upcoming changes, especially the rework of Borean Strider. I remember seeing what I think were concept art for the boss, but that concept was never realized until now. Glad that it's getting a glow up
1.3 update (2015) added lunar event moon lord lunatic cultist etc 1.4 update (2020) added empress of light queen slime block swap etc you should play it again

Calamity Mod, Fargos Soul Mod, Homeward Journey, Remnants Mod, Starlight River, The Stars Above, Terraria Overhaul, Thorium Mod...These im sure have multiplayer compatability Other mods won't have multiplayer avaliable yet.

Secrets of the Shadows is VERY underrated, the pyramid boss has gotta be one of my all time favourite pre-hardmode modded bosses. Shadows of Abaddon is also really high quality, I recommend them both. Luna Veil looks very interesting.

bro, theres literaly 3 differents mods on the axe so why do you show us the mods dont tell us the axes but the mods i tried 6 times on the hard mode but i had absulotely no chance to beat him the giant moon is hype but too overated i just two shot this big boss after the moon blood theres so much to see and u turn around the subject my god i just had the new armour that is very op when the bosses attack u man finally why do u tols us to install the mod if tey are unplayable
While mods like Joost mod was left to dust and remained in Legacy tmodloader, Shadows of Abaddon is still keeping up with the happenings. I'm glad it's not forever abandoned

Okay the two new mods I'm going to install my next large content mod playthrough when they're ported is spirit and I'm going to install starve light River when it's more finished there now I have 10 content mods I'll name them off and October
Most mods should work with Boss checklist, alchemistNPC, and other mods that add small features like that. In fact most mods are compatible with most other mods, back on 1.3 I had a massive modpack composing of every single content mod out there at the time... they played nicely together, spare one detail: worldgen. With big mods come big additions to biomes and structure placements. The more content you add the more risk of important modded structures colliding and messing with each other. Other than that though most mods don't hassle each other. Game balance will be ruined but that's the price of modding.
the calamity getfixedboi additions really annoy me, sure, the seed was quite a meme already, but it was carefully balanced to be fun, yet still incredibly punishing at the same time, the calamity mod just throws that balance out the window
Hey awesome video, could you make some type of mod guide for 2023 terraria ? As someone who only know calamity i felt very lost when hearing about the other mods because I don't even know what they include.
Can always consult their discord type like terraria "x mod" discord and join their server they usually have the most update to date versions. Some smaller mods take a while to port to latest stable versions of tmod
Terraria devs: "Guys this is our last update I swear, there will be no more, absolutely" Terraria devs a couple months later: "Yo guys check this out, this is the last update fr fr!"
