The movie never explained any of those questions you asked lol her friend was SA no one believed her even her best friend hence is why she is getting revenge. They went to jail for her murder and everything came out anyway. Hence is why she was killed because if that had came to light, lives would be ruined. Maybe you should watch it again if you watched it at all lol because everything was explained.

I understand the ending where she set the guy up at the end to get justice her friend but at the beginning that did not appear to be her initial plan because he wasn't yet reintroduced to her. I liked the movie and have been a big fan of Carey Mulligan for some time. The only issue I have was the character's overall plan before the opportunity arose confounded me. Whenever I've asked people who have watched it they answer similar either with the lol, or the "you just don't get it" or just accuse me of never watching it. I'm not complaining. I am simply inquiring if people saw something in there that I missed.

They say false accusations are rare because the cases that were regarded as false accusation in the cumulation of the stats are the one that were proven to be false accusations. Now, how do you actually prove false accusations except the accuser tells the truth? Very difficult. Hence many more cases which are false accusations don't get acknowledged as false because there's no proof except the accuser spills. For example, Johnny Depp will still remain tagged an abuser till date if not that amber heard inadvertently told on herself. Also, if you go to the roots of the reports, that is, in the police departments, it is widely agreed by a good number of police officers (men and women) that many of these stories don't add up sometimes, but there is no way to prove explicitly that they don't. So you see how stats are skewed to say false accusations are rare. That's just another feminist superficial talking point that fails to analyse holistically the data.

You need to watch the movie. She paid a guy to just take care of her, and make her believe something happened to her. She harmed no one but sadly just herself and parents. You need to watch the movie, the re-cap just won't do the movie any justice and it's seriously worth the watch.

Bo Burnham was great in it, she wasn't trying to hurt anyone directly she just wanted to teach them lessons, but she hurt no one, not even the men who attempted to r*pe her when they thought she was passed out. I will say that the movie can be triggering if you've been assaulted, so just a warning but I'm glad a movie like this was made. It shows wharf real predators are like; it's the everyday person, people you know, people you never expect and being a bystander and not speaking up makes you just as culpable and that's why so many victims never come forward.
