I enjoy when creators can praise and criticize as you do. I feel so many saw one flaw and then instantly wrote the show off, bashing it way more than it deserved. On the other hand there are others praising every single aspect of the show. It definitely has its flaws and pretending they don't exist is a mistake. It's like one half of the fandom expects perfection and then is angry when they don't get it while the other half pretends everything is perfect. Doesn't seem healthy to me lol. Personally, I really enjoyed the show. It had its moments that I disliked but overall I'm very happy we got it.
@@roguenugget242 the flashbacks were just so great. Also the Reva situation. I know she survived being stabbed by lightsaber. It was confusing but it did show a flashback of her surviving too. Both of the times she survived being stabbed felt confusing but the fact that it showed flashback of her stabbing and surviving at the same time as her surviving again made the scene better. Flashback also did make the scene even more confusing but because the flashback happened the same time it made the scene better in my opinion
And here’s another part that may feel annoying about the episode. Kenobi is about to be going to Vaders place and troopers guard him into he comes. He kills the 2 troopers when Vader just gets in the building. However if Kenobi gets taken that would be bad because he would die. This is all just my opinion
I actually really enjoyed the series honestly - I did notice some of the laziness regarding the writing and some of the plot holes, but it was amazing to see obi-wan (my personal favorite character) and anakin again. I also really loved the dynamic between obi-wan and leia despite it not adding up. I also thought there was going to be more episodes, like the first few focused on leia and the next half on luke but i see that wasnt the case, I guess it just was about Obi-Wan and Leia. OVERALL: I really enjoyed the series and wish for a season 2 although I do hope they clarify/fix the plot holes. I really want to see more Qui-Gon.
Episode 4 didn't bother me as much because I was just really glad to see Obi wan use his lightsaber again. Only to be terribly dissapointed and confused when he once again used a gun at the end of the episode instead of his saber....
1. Part 1 - The Leia chase scene is bad. But I love the introduction to Obi-Wan and Leia. I enjoyed the brief scenes between Obi-Wan and Owen. I actually would have liked to see more of the Lars family throughout the show. I thought this episode setup the season very well, even if there was some odd production/directing errors. 2. Part 6 - Satisfying finale. Has some very emotional moments. Loved the combination of Hayden and James Earl Jones voice. The scene where Obi-Wan speaks to Leia about the qualities she inherited from her mother and father really resonated with me. 3. Part 5 - Solid episode. Great flashbacks with Hayden and Ewan. Decent enough fight between Vader and Reva. 4. Part 3 - On paper the stuff with Vader is awesome, but the execution was severely lacking and spoiled what should have been an epic encounter between Vader and Obi-Wan, but the fight choreography was lame and the setting felt small. Also, Vader just watching as Obi is carried away is one of many examples of poor writing. 5. Part 2 - This episode was ok. It certainly felt rushed and was clearly weaker following the first episode. Not much to say. I didn't care for the pretend Jedi guy....Some of the Leia interactions with Obi-Wan were fun. Not much to this episode. 6. Part 4 - I wasn't originally going to have this last, but as I thought about it....I just can't get over them escaping the base with Leia hiding under the coat. There was some other really dumb writing moments in this episode, like that one guy who is like, "I'm not helping....ok, if you need my help I will." He just does a complete 180 for no reason. Also, the "mournful" moment when characters find out Wade didn't make it....I get the characters are supposed to care, but we the audience don't so it was a weird moment to linger on. I liked seeing Obi-Wan use his lightsaber. That's about it.
Damnit Zack you had to play the clip of Obi saying Sorry ahhhh😭 lol Dude I loved it all I never rate anything I enjoy the experience 💯..But only one time I will say if I was going to rate it Highground 🎇 That's my answer and I'm sticking to it lol So Happy you loved this show as well man🤘
Episode 4 was the only episode I really disliked. Otherwise, even though certain aspects of writing may not have always been great, I enjoyed parts of every other episode. Kenobi was a rollercoatser for me, some great highs i loved and some lows I disliked.
Same ranking as me! Just would swap two and four. Four for me was definitely by far the worst episode for me. The thing that saved it was the Vader choking Reva scene and the trophy of Jedi
Here's my ranking: 6. Episode 4: Just some horrible writing and poor visual effects put together. 5/10 5. Episode 1: It's not a bad episode, but it's just not as good as the others. 6/10 4. Episode 2: I was skeptical from Episode 1, but Episode 2 sort of pulled me back into the show. 6.5/10 3. Episode 3: The episode had some great action, and some quite emotional moments, it was pretty much the episode that got me to rlly like the show. 8/10 2. Episode 5: A great episode, but like I said, just not as good. 9/10 1. Episode 6: The fight scenes are majestic, the acting is believable, and that "I'm sorry Anakin" hits rlly hard. 10/10 Overall show rating: 8/10
*6 > 5 > 3 > 1 > 2 > 4* Honestly, I have the same overall opinion of the show as you do! Sure, it's nowhere near perfect and has a fair share of problems (some poor writing and bland visuals at times, and I personally didn't get into Reva's story all that much). But the rest of the show I really enjoyed! Certainly better then The Book Of Boba Fett, to me at least. Overall: *8/10*
4, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 Pretty much the same as yours, but I didn't enjoy many scenes from episode 1, and I did like the setting of Daiyu (probably most interesting planet in the series?)
6. Episode 1: 7 5. Episode 4: 7 4. Episode 2: 7 3. Episode 3: 8 2. Episode 5: 9 1. Episode 6: 10 Obi-Wan Kenobi (TV Show): 8/10 I've never given a 10/10 for an episode of a series, but this finale was perfect for me.
