I got 3: 1st and 2nd will be in the same plot of land and it will be based on the Safari Zone where one is by boat and the other is by jeep. Both vehicles will take you a tour through the Safari Zone to check out Pokémon in the wild(Animatronics and such) only from different viewpoints(Think Storybook Canal Boats and Casey Jr Train at Disneyland). 3rd will be a coaster designed to look like Rayquaza where you are riding them through the air, caves, and lands at various high speeds(Think Falcor from Neverending Story).
Yeah I'm on board with a Pokemon Snap Safari ride. I'd love to see it be an omnimover hybrid, where there's sections that the ride speed up and interact with terrain like a safari truck. I could also see some sort of augmented reality pokemon stadium show, where guests actually get pulled into the action battling with their own favorite pokemon. Pokemon Go seems just natural. Pikachu meet'n'greet better happen. Finally, it could be great to have some sort of Vekoma Madhouse that tells more lore for Arceus or the general pokemon story, even reenacting the MewTwo escape (but that would basically be Extraterrorestrial). There's a LOT of potential with this theme. I just want to see it immersed in a way that no one expects (so in other words, a LOT less screens).
For the Hollywood and Orlando Citywalks, I hope we get a Pokémon Center. I would love to walk to a Pokémon Center and buy their exclusive merch instead of just ordering online and waiting for them to mail it at my house.
@@sergiotorresaragon7673 why not both? Both US Citywalks have the space to put both of them. I can definitely speak for the one in Hollywood since many spaces(Former stores and restaurants) still remain empty since it reopened.
"Guests would enter a Driftblim shaped entrance" when you know the story behind Driftloon and Driftblim...choosing that one for the entrance is pretty dark. They carry people away, never to be seen again, and nobody nor does the Driftblim knows where it drifts. At least it's not Driftloon, who particularly steal children If I was the one designing a new Pokémon land, I'd definitely make a mini-region exclusive to the parks with a whole Gym and Elite Four system (to fit eight gyms in a small space, maybe they could just be a scanner you scan a band with and then the battle begins on a small screen adjacent to the scanner). Also, just want to say thank you for including a pic from the XY/XYZ seasons of the anime with my boi Clemont at 0:21, I miss those seasons and in my eyes, XY and XYZ remain the best seasons of the show
I really hope Universal continues to market towards young adults. They should know that there's a huge market of young adult anime fans and gamers out there that would love a Pokemon themed area, and that Pokemon is not just for kids. I'm hoping the rides and area are similar to Diagon, Hogsmeade, and Super Mario World; immersive land and a mix of attractions which offer a bit of thrills.
Well duh, but Pokemon is primarily targeted at children, and it fits the best in the kids area. As well as the fact that you can't replace the only kids area in those parks (which is the only place Pokemon could go) with an adult area.
@@tytytherussianspy2778 Kidzone is the best choice, but I disagree that Pokemon could only go in KidZone. The contract for the now Disney owned Simpsons could be expiring, which means Springfield may have to go. They could retheme or rebuild that area and possibly some of the area nearby to any other IP. I don't believe KidZone needs to be entirely adult or kids focused. SNW with Mario, for example, has a family friendly attraction with Yoshi, meet and greets for kids, and a ride that is more for everyone (Mario Kart). As long as they don't alienate young adults by making it (a Pokemon land) completely for children, then I think it'll be successful.
In Orlando, it feels like Studios needs the Pokemon land the most and would fit well in the kids area. Epic Universe looks to have enough going on already, studios is really lacking lately
I feel like cramming all the Nintendo stuff in Epic Universe would be too much (might as well call it Nintendo Universe). Studios NEEDS something big so I feel like combining the Snap Omnimover and the Mack Coaster would be perfect for that park!

The Pokémon Snap ride makes so much sense, it would be shame if that isn’t the one they go with. I’m just hoping they give Pokemon their own space or enough land as it will draw enormous crowds.
They could retheme Men In Black for it. Imagine a Pidgeot using Gust to spin your ride vehicle as you try to scan every Pokémon with a long-range Pokédex. Convert the Fear Factor stage nearby into a Gyarados kids coaster.
Universal on the other hand would build a massive themed land that's obviously themed to Pokemon and then pretend like nothing's happening until a week before it opens 😂
KidZone makes so much more sense than putting Pokemon in at EU. It's in desperate need of a retheme and the people that care about Nintendo properties will feel compelled to spend an extra day. Universal is fighting for days on people's Disney vacations, so forcing more days by spreading the experience between parks is the most sensible way forward. They have already seen this with HP.
Pokémon is the thing Studios needs! It appeals to the whole family, and it has potential for some good attractions which is what Studios has been lacking as of late (save for Bourne).
I have an idea, a pokemon snap ride where guests sit in a vehicle similar to what we get in the games with a camera that guests can lift up and aim, taking "pictures" of pokemon on projection screens throughout. It can be trackless, which in turn would give Universal the ability to have multiple routes that guests can unlock by taking specific pics or pressing a button at a certain time. There would be 3 sections to go through where each section would be randomized throughout the day. Riders would then receive points similar to what we see on buzz lightyear at Disneyland and you can send the pics you took to your email.
I love the idea of using the Spiderman scoop ride system for a potential Pokémon themed ride. I could see the possibility of converting the Transformers ride at both Orlando and Hollywood into such a ride. In the meantime though, perhaps Universal should consider holding some type of annual Pokémon festival for the US based parks, so that can they can immediately capitalize on the world's most popular IP. This festival could include Pokemon themed food/treats, games, activities and meet and greets. Maybe even include a family friendly maze based on Pokémon too.

Things I think we NEED in a “Pokémon World”: 1. Interactive Pokémon trade and capture or at least just capture 2. PKMN Center with real working PCs and PKMN Center merch available 3. Pokémon Live as the main stage show. You can’t argue with me on this one. 4. Coasters are fine but we need at least one gentle kiddie ride. Some of us veteran Trainers don’t deal well with thrills and we wanna experience Pokémon rides, too. Preferably without a lot of screens or VR. 5. A gym. We need a gym. It could be a ride or maybe it could be an indoor show where trainers come out to battle Pokémon and we watch? Idk. But it’d be cool if it doubled as a gym for PKMN Go as well or maybe even the mainline games somehow. I don’t really play Go except to catch mons I don’t have in my games so I’d personally love to show up at a physical gym and fight a gym leader on my Switch. Even if I lost the fight, the experience would be surreal.
People who started the rumors about the Spiderman attraction don’t understand how popular the ride is here in Japan. USJ updated the projections some years ago which make it even less likely to be rethemed.
I once said that universal needs to have a Pokémon theme land at their park because most of Pokémon’s attraction’s have been rumored across the country and I think it that it would actually be great to have in the Orlando area.
Imagine a pokemon stadium show with holographic pokemon actually fighting?! Maybe switch up the pokemon and trainers so the show isnt the same all the time. Or even a pokemon contest show or hell why not both at different times in the same stadium?
I would keep all Nintendo and Pokemon properties at Epic. If I was Universal, I would replace the Simpsons area with a "Water Production Zone" to fit the theme of a Studio Backlot. There I would bring back a New and Improved Jaws Ride, as well as the Water World Show that does so well in USHW. This would take out Animal Actors show. The Kidz Zone area is tough. I would still theme it to "Ride the Movies" but make it a Kids Production Area. Get rid of all attractions over there to make way for a new kids ride and coaster. This can be themed to popular Universal Related Kids Movies or DreamWorks. ET can become a Puppet Meet-and-Greet in this area since ET is an Icon. There is just so much room for at least two to three rides and attractions over there. The space is severely un-utilized. I am sure there are better themes for Kidz Zone that you guys have thought of. What are some ideas that you think should happen?
All I want in life is a Pokemon version of Epcot where each region is represented and people can go around to battle the gym leaders and the champion to be rewarded with actual badges and league certificates.
I would love to see Pokémon in any Florida spaces. Super Nintendo world would be incredible but every one loves Pokémon doesn’t matter if 3D rides catch em tournament with gift shop with meet and greet or attraction rides.

I would say a Pokemon enhanced motion vehicle dark ride attraction, similar to the Indiana Jones attraction from the Disney parks. Maybe a Pokemon snack stand that has Pokemon shaped cookies, rice balls, Pokeblocks, poffins, Pokepuffs, and madasala donuts. Plus, a Pokemon anime special where Ash Ketchum and all of his friends are on a trip at Universal Studios and riding attractions in the park (Including Misty, Brock, Tracey, May, Max, Dawn, Iris, Cilan, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, Lillie, Kiawe, Mallow, Lana, Sophocles, Goh, and Chloe)
Honestly, there's a lot of potential for a pokemon land - a haunted mansion with the ghost pokemon, some legendary themed roller coater... though a pokemon snap / safari zone ride would make the most sense, and allow a wide variety of pokemon to be feautred. Maybe even incorporate some type of branching path, like Star Tours. Letting the same layout cover various regions and seasonal changes.

My idea for a Pokemon Super Nintendo World: The land would be located at Universal Studios Florida and would replace most of Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone (except for ET and the Animals Actors show). The idea is that you are in the Universal Region. The land includes gift shops themed to Pokecenters and Pokemon themed restaurants. The land would include many of the things like the Mario Nintendo world, such as interactive activities, animatronic pokemon roaming the surrounding areas, and so on. However, there would be 3 attractions. One would be an interactive attraction similar to the Bowser Jr. one at Mario's SNW, but this one would be a Pokemon gym. You would traverse through many obstacles and possible pokemon trainers similar to the games. The final room would be a Pokemon Gym battle. Another attraction would be a Omnimover slow ride themed to Pokemon Snap. It would be a shooter ride rimilar to Buzz Lightyear but with cameras instead of blasters. The big E-ticket attraction would be a ride similar to the Jurassic World dark ride at Universal Beijing, but with some elements to Indiana Jones at Disneyland. This might not be the case in an official land, but I would personally theme it to the anime. Most, if not all, of the main characters would be present in this ride. The premise would be that many Legendary Pokemon would somehow be let loose in the region, and you have to help our heores save the day. Just like in Mario's SNW, you would win some sort of point system when doing these attractions
I’d like to see an Epic Universe expansion as opposed to taking down Kidzone. I’d rather see Kidzone be filled with Dreamworks and/or Illumination properties.
The "Pokémon replacing Spider-Man" rumor never made much sense. Mostly because that means Universal would lose the Marvel license in Japan. Yeah, it's not the worst thing to happen BUT there's a reason no Avengers Campus has been announced for the Tokyo Disney parks. So allowing the Marvel license to go away means Tokyo could immediately get to work on a REAL Campus and not this cheap crap they're doing at the cheap parks. It's far more important that Universal keep the world's #1 IP out of Tokyo than it is to shove Pokémon into a park that has other options. Backdraft was supposed to close over a decade ago to be replaced by Transformers. Since Transformers is based on Spider-Man, I took this rumor one step further and arrived at Backdraft, which covers the basic points of the rumor but makes way more sense. Why would they hand the Marvel license back to Disney AND demolish a popular ride when clearly nobody cares about Backdraft? It's the Fear Factor Live of USJ! The only reason it isn't gone already is the last major additions were either new lands or additions to current lands. Also, T2:3-D still exists at this park, another attraction that will go before Spider-Man.
I’d love to see Pokémon Snap attraction and a interactive PokeCenter where you could adopt Pokémon maybe similar to a Build a Bear but would have additional services after purchase.
Y'know, since its called SUPER Nintendo World, what if we were to design a park themed specifically to the greatest hits of the SNES? * Now obviously there would be plenty of Super Mario to choose from (World, All-Stars, Kart, Yoshi's Island). * Next, just like in Universal, would be a land themed to the Donkey Kong Country trilogy. * Then we'd have a Zelda land based on A Link to the Past. * StarFox would fit the role of the sci-fi Tomorrowland area. * Finally, something for the adults; might be controversial, but I feel its a forgotten franchise that deserves a second look: Killer Instinct Nintendo 64 World! * As in SNES World on the opposite coast, our first land will obviously be dedicated to Mario ( both Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart64) * Since we still need something for teens and above, a shoot 'em up dark ride based on GoldenEye 007 (and not the slow moving crap like Buzz Lightyear or Ant-Man; this needs to feel like a chase scene) * a Legend of Zelda land, this time themed to Ocarina of Time * our centerpiece would be dedicated to Super Smash Bros, with a rotating schedule of nightly battles * a Pokemon land, with attractions based on Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Snap! * a different Donkey Kong land, this one specifically themed to DK64 * StarFox 64 again serves as the sci-fi land * finally, an often overlooked franchise gets its own area: Banjo-Kazooie
More parts of the Mario universe for Epic Universe expansions (Classic arcade area based on New Donk City, Luigi's Mansion, WarioWare's Diamond City, etc), Pokemon for Kidzone, Zelda for Lost Continent, Metroid for MiB, Kirby/Animal Crossing/Splatoon for eventual 4th park east of Epic Universe. Fingers crossed this is the future 10-15 years from now.
Along with everyone else - Pokemon Snap dark ride. It's a no-brainer. I do hope they don't make it a kiddie area. The IP has much broader appeal than that. Trolls would be a better fit for young ones.
I would love to see Pokemon happen at Islands of Adventure. I can see it being used to retheme & expansion of Lost Continent, Suess Landings or even Toon Lagoon.
They could do something interactive like what they did with Super Nintendo World. Instead, it could be like a better version of Pokémon Go where you walk around and collect Pokémon and get to battle them with other guests and actors as trainers.
A ride would be cool, but I kind of hope they do some sort of Pokémon card battle game around the land or the full park like how Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom was hidden around Disney's Magic Kingdom

Whatever we get, this is a fantastic partnership. I personally hope USJ doesn't go the route of tetheming Spider-Man, tho. A new land themed to Pokémon at Epic would be my leading vote
I don’t think this will be in the epic universe, I think is going to replace the Marvel section in IOA. I think they want similar IP’s represented in every park, since they noticed how well it works with Harry Potter. We have Hogsmead in IOA, diagon alley in studios, and probably ministry of magic in epic universe. And dreamworks has a despicable me area in studios, dragons in epic, and I think they want to expand or rebrand a land in IOA (hoping for kung fu panda or the Croods). And now with acquiring Super Nintendo, Super Nintendo land in epic, Zelda in studios, and Pokémon in IOA.
So we would get MEET Ash, Misty, Brock, Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy, maybe Team Rocket (Jessie and James)? If that had happened, I'd love to see their OG anime dub voice actors saying hi to them!

That's the direction they seem to be going so far. I'm sure Epic Universe would have rides with those. But having the Pokémon ride be all screens (not even AR like in Mario Kart just flat screens) would be a waste. If anything, I would like to see the Omnimover and/or the Mack coaster come to fruition!
Imagine walking into a Pokemon town/city themed area. The Pokemon Center could be a pokemon themed Dave n Buster's type place. The gym could be a dark ride where you battle and get your first or 8th badge. A safari zone ride that has screens like the Kong ride where you're on a Pokemon Snap style expedition when a Pokemon goes rogue or gets territorial. A ride where you wait in line in a pokemon cave surrounded by zubats and other cave mons. At the "bottom" it's a dark ride where you team up with one or multiple champions to stop one or multiple evil teams from using legendaries to destroy/take over the world. A professor's lab where kids could "pick their own starter" and a Pokemon daycare playground/hang out area. The Pokemon GO possibilities... Life size Pokemon statues scattered throughout the town, maybe make a Pokemon Snap app where you could take pictures of them and win prizes at the Poke Center
Also if you wanted to make a roller coaster just pick a color, then think of a legendary that color. Blue? Kyogre's Klimb. Green? Rayquaza's Rage, Purple? Mewtwo's Madness. Then waiting in line you get the story part
Pokémon needs to be at studios and Zelda at islands so that way all 3 parks have a Nintendo,Pokémon property so you still get people going to all 3 parks with something new! time will tell but I think the new park needs to have its own stuff instead of putting all of it at the new park when they have old stuff that needs to be taken out at islands and studios easy! definitely the kids zone needs to be taken out I also think mib needs to be taken out also Simpsons land cause that side of the park is very out dated not much to do needs another big attraction or not a whole new land
MiB just needs a refurbishment like what's going on with the Mummy! I think MiB is an underrated masterpiece of a ride like E.T. But otherwise yes, I can agree with your opinion. I think not having Nintendo properties in all three parks would be dumb. Pokémon at Studios and Zelda at IoA (regardless of what kind of attractions there are) would certainly make Disney tremble.
Pokemon really isn't THIS difficult to implement into a theme park ride, guys. You wouldn't know it from these plans. Even the average-sounding plans would probably be ruined by the VR.
I think the Snap ride and the coaster sound like the best ideas. The other ideas seem a little strange though, and I wouldn't be too sad if they were scrapped.
Pokémon go park exclusive content yeah would be good, an AR Pokémon Arena that hosts actual tournament competitions for TCG and Game. Pokémon Parade Pokémon Center.
Sorry my favorite Pokemon Drifblim got name dropped had to comment. It's great because his pre-evolution Drifloon carries children away to the afterlife...

Please don't take out Spider-Man. Just build a second park to include Pokemon.. or.. take out Water World considering it uses so much space and is right beside SNW.
