There’s now an updated version of this video with all the songs that have been added since this Video’s release I plan to keep on updating this video when we get more songs Here’s the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qEKqvr3cBhQ.htmlsi=rtG0zeaHLnlH_t9x Also acouple other things people are bringing up (or might in the future) that I wanna adress just so we’re all on the same page: -flower uses her Ci voicebank design since I’m using every Vocaloids most recent design that I could get a png of -there’s no songs without a virtual singer in the Sekai version (ex: Charles,Villain) since there isn’t a separate virtual singer in the Sekai version (I’d be willing to add them if enough people want that) -there’s no commissioned songs (ex: Lower,Tricologe) since this is a video for covers (I might make a video for the commissioned songs in the future though) -Eve’s songs (Nonsense Literature) use Miku as the “vriginal singer” since I’m using vocaloid versions for this and Eve releases offical Vocaloid versions for a lot of his song (especially back during the 2010’s) -Songs with atleast 1 of the og songs Virtual Singers won’t be counted for this list (ex: PaIII.Sensation)

i don't mind miku getting the most attention but as a greedy kagamine stan there's a part of me that wishes they hadn't changed the vocals for songs like roki 😔

Tbh i feel like IA sounds better than miku in six trillion years like idk why but her voice just sounds a bit more powerful and is more suited to that rock style yk 😭

Something I hate about like the sekai covers is its kind of hard to hear the vocaloids. Like I know that may be the point but I still want to here them plus the actual singers not just the character's voices.

I don't know how to feel seeing Ci Flower being referred to as Flower, considering how different Ci actually sounds compared to Vflower, which is the one used in those songs. I accept that some corporate suits think Ciflower is more marketable than Vflower, but the possibility of Ci flower being the definitive version of Flower from now on is scary to me.

Can i just say that all voice actors and vocaloids slayed (i prefer the og versions and a little of the covers lol)

I’ve seen many people complaining about miku getting too many songs but keep in mind that at the start every group had only miku + another vocaloid(except vbs [2 more] and niigo [only miku]) so a lot of early covers have miku in it for that reason. Also the fact that most Leo/need covers are sung alongside miku is because of the bond between her and Ichika and how Miku basically changed her life. Plus, sekai has A LOT more diversity vocaloid wise compared to diva

I respect people's opinions and understand that in some songs Vocaloids tuning is obviously hit or miss, But when people say that pjsekai version *ALWAYS* ruin original version, i kinda feel sad for some reason. (Yes there are indeed some pjsekai covers i hate like staracco patchwork, BRING IT ON, Bitter Choco decoration, etc. But like there are songs that are ACTUALLY BETTER COVERED)

I love IA on Yobanashi Decieve so I’m glad they kept her for the vocaloid version 😅

Everytime people talk about licensing other vocaloid I always think of how a lot of gacha games do a lot of collabs even with vocaloids And also how Gumi appeared in the 3ds Miku game It might never happen but there is a very small chance at least

Miku is like all the marketing of project sekai. Without Miku project sekai would not have half of the popularity it has now. So for them to use Miku for covers of songs makes sense. It’s good for marketing. For example: The reason I and many others downloaded project sekai was because we saw Miku. Like it’s Hatsune Miku. The creator of Minecraft. It’s kind of obvious that if they don’t wanna use the vocaloid that the song originally goes with, they’re gonna go with Miku. She is the mascot for vocaloid. When people think vocaloid, they think Miku. (I say this was someone who does not have Miku as their favourite Vocaloid or character in Pjsk. But I am somebody with a bias towards her.) Edit 2: warning people are arguing in the replies and no one even gets what I’m saying. So I’m gonna say all I have to say right now and I’m never looking at this comment again. 1. The vocaloids are just as important as the characters, so saying ‘we’re here for the original characters, not the vocaloids’ makes no sense. If you want mainly original characters play a different game. 2nd. The reason Meiko doesn’t have a lot of songs is because she’s not as popular + no one can tune her properly for some god forsaken reason + her voice usually only fits with a certain theme of song. So if they have a choice between Miku and Meiko, the answer is obvious which they’re gonna make. (No shade towards Meiko I LOVE HER. It’s just that her tuning in proseka is usually bad.) 3rd, PLEASE STOP HATING ON MIKU IN THE REPLIES. I have such an unnatural hatred for sekai ROKI, not only because it's *another* ichimiku duet, but because *every single time* it's referred to in the story, they call it a "miku song".

I feel like the reason that the project sekai versions don’t sound as good as the original, is because of the tuning. Idk the vocaloids tuning just sounds stuffy. Especially for miku. Though Miku’s NT voice bank is bad in quality. With the right amount of skill it can sound pretty good. But I don’t think the people that tuned the vocaloids had enough experience with using miku. Luka and Len’s tuning sounds the best (in my opinion). Idk the singers names but they did a great job covering most of the songs. It’s just the vocaloids tuning I have a problem with.

The only problem I tend to have with having vocaloids, and especially Miku, having their own cover versions in the game is just… that someone’s probably done it already??? Looking through the comments of this video and some other proseka vids, it seems I’m in the minority when I say I prefer the character covers over hearing the original or any of the vocaloid covers you can get in the in-game shop. Mostly because I’ve heard some of the originals so often. I like to hear variation and let’s not lie and say some of the voice tuning didn’t age roughly. Additionally, yeah it’s a Miku game. The whole point is Miku. It starts with Miku and ends with Miku. But I wish they’d stop acting like Miku is the original singer/creator for like… every song >_>

If non-Crypton vocaloid can have some cameos in some events, I want to see IA in Leoneed, GUMI in MMJ, Kafu in VBS, Otomachi Una or Yuzuki Yukari in WxS, and flower in N25. Just make them do in-game dialogue, no need for official commission song with them. That would never happen though lol but I think each unit has resemblance with those other vocaloids.

Little detail i noticed and i really like is how in the original version for miku, there is one of her desings that isnt in project sekai and when miku is in the sekai cover, it shows her project sekai desing (this goes to every vocaloid in the game)

Some covers are better, the originals will be nostalgic or people will be more used to them and change gets weird, sometimes yeah Miku is the default a bit too much and it gets annoying, HOWEVER please remember that the version you prefer will always be available (either in game o n, youtube, niconico, or wherever) and people having different preferences in songs is perfectly normal. You can be upset, you can get annoyed, but please for the love of Miku herself be respectful (Sorry for the tirade, I've had one too many arguments about "which version is better" that got heated and nasty for literally no reason)

I think when the Sekai versio plays, it should have actually been the Virtual Singer version since that's who they're saying sings the song, and not the Sekai covers with multiple Project Sekai characters singing.

i’m gonna be honest there are some that i prefer the sekai version. of course, i still have respect for the originals. there are instances where i love both tho. like with “totemo itai itagaritai”. i love both the original and n25’s. for my explanation of when i prefer the sekai version is i’m going to use “buriki no dance” as an one of my examples that i wanna talk about. i love how the voice actors of tsukasa and rui as well as the usage of len’s voice fit the production, to me, and singing it in a lower key, than in the original production where miku is singing pretty high. it’s kind of hard to explain because i feel like i have specific opinions on certain parts of sekai and originals.

I love it when they take song using VERY high piched Miku. That just doesn't work with the song, and make cover with male voices, and usually Kaito, but not always. It feels like saving the song, lol

Why everyone so pressed over Miku being treated how a mascot/mc should be treated? What else did they expect, really? The more I look at this, the more I wish SEGA and Craft Egg got permission to use a lot of the vocal synths that sang the original songs here, like GUMI, IA, KAFU, flower, Kaai Yuki, and Yuuma as part of the virtual singers group to add some diversity. I feel it would make the game more interesting and increase the player base. TL;DR: LET OTHER VOCALS SYNTHS INTERACT WITH THE CRYPTON LOIDS AND SEKAI UNITS!!!!

Sometimes I like the Sekai ver, sometimes not. Buriki no Dance Wxs version is good ! Same for Nonsense Bungaku. Odore Orchestra sung by WxS is just perfect for them. I love a lot Daybreak Frontline VBS version too !

sometimes i really hate how they used real voices for a vocaloid game, but its also good. i just prefer vocaloid 1000 times to sekai versions.

It hurts to hear how badly the Vocaloids are tuned in the covers.. I feel like they put little to no effort in making them fit in with the human singers 😭. Id smile is a good example cause you only hear MEIKO at that one part. She sounds so off compared to the rest. If your going to include your own characters in your own game then atleast make them likeable 😭 (Voice wise in this game)
