@@xeroles here's the thing: he will teleport if the clock reaches 1 minute. This teleportation doesn't count. Maybe you just have seen him right as he's teleporting?
Well, from my testing, it just won't actually save to your save file unless you beat the level; at least, when it comes to a 101% file. For context, when I sighted him in Bloodsauce Dungeon, I subsequently went to beat the level afterwards and it saved, whereas when I tried exiting after seeing him in Oregano Desert, my save file did not update with the variable switch on for seeing him in that stage.

I did it, but since the last update i think, the game saves after leaving a level, you can see the spinning pizza icon (saving) next to the loading text when leaving, so you dont actually need to complete the level
Okay,just so yall know, the level doesn't need to be completed,i never completed Dont Make a Sound and still got it, it's just thst you need to be close to him to make him disappear,you need to be the cause,you do need to sight him in TCTOP too,just look at the timer and make sure it's below 1 minute when you get near to guarantee that you were the cause of him disappearing
Pro tip for people who found all PTGs but didn't get the costume: -turn on the timer to know how close you are getting to the intended spot -make sure he despawned because you got too close instead of due to the 1 minute passing -even though it seems like you don't need to finish the level I would still recommend doing so since it doesn't always register if you just quit out -if it's still not working, you should serach "%appdata%" on your computer, go to noise save files and find the "towerguy" section. If a level has a 1 it means you did it right. I'm guessing you can also manually change those values but I think it's a lot more fun if you do it legit
I got all of them (even wrote a check list of all the levels with a ? Next to the ones that i didnt think i got) but still didnt get the costume,got any ideas on why?
I've found every PTG but the notification didn't show up, so I tried again, but it didn't show up again. I decided to go and look at my save file and most of them were just "0" while only a few like John Gutter were "1". I've decided to set all those to 1's except for John Gutter, so I was kinda cheating to get it but it should be noted that I've reached every PTG. Yeah I actually think you have to beat the levels, the comments are lying
You have to get close enough for him to disappear before the timer reaches 1 minute. If he disappears on his own (even if you can see him) it wont count
Yeah, this one is really strange to unlock. Just make sure you reach PTG in under a minute and get close enough to where you force him to teleport away
Try redoing deep dish 9. Make sure you get to him in the minute because it looks like you got him but he actually just disappeared because it’s such a close timer
theres a way to see what you missed I did all of them (I think) and I didnt get it I played somelevel where I Got it loss to make sure but still nothing
Anybody else find that this didn't work in the switch version or is it just me Edit: wait apparently i found that this only works if you've P ranked a level, is this true? Edit 2: Nvm I got the clothes, turned out I had to play as the noise by himself
I have a theory as to why some of us can't find the clothes. I went through the entire game in swap mode and according to the SaveData1N file in %appdata% I was still missing five levels... Five levels where I found PTG as Peppino. Could it be that you must be swapped into Noise when you reach PTG for it to trigger?
Tested it out in Oregano Desert, swapped to Noise the room before PTG, it didn't trigger the flag... Trying it again and this time finishing the level.
