I filmed myself packing and sending a sale that was only like $30 more so out of spite because the customer was already talking about returning before I sent it out, asking me to package it very well or else she will have to request a refund if it arrived damaged. It was weird to me that she was assuming it was gonna come damaged so I filmed myself sending it out in perfect condition so I at least covered myself. People are so weird!
When they say that they received an empty package, it's definitely scam likely. I had a eBay customer to request to cancel after I already shipped out. So I refused to issue a refund. Two days she filed a case stating that she received an empty package, even took a picture holding the mailer. It was only a hair product worth less than $20 but I messaged the buyer and pretty much called her out. Fortunately, eBay sided with me. I've filmed myself sending packages as well.
You have my dying over here at your reaction to her saying that her doorman takes suspicious packages😂😂😂 I cannot.. people will try anything 🤦♀️ I don't sell anything that high end but good advice to film yourself packaging it up!
Sadly, this is going to be more common since alot of brick and mortar stores are closing down due to all this retail theft, smh. Thanks for sharing! But, I personally don't sell anything valued at more than $50. It's too risky since I have been a victim of id theft.

I've filmed myself dropping off expensive packages at the post office as well lol I'll wait until I'm outside to seal the package, to prove the correct item was shipped. I film what's inside before seal it, clearly show the shipping label after sealing it, then film myself walking in and getting it scanned. That's the only thing that will prove that you dropped it off and shipped the correct item. I've heard that ebay has sided with buyers when sellers only filmed themselves packaging. There's no way to prove that you didn't tear open the package and switch the item out after the video stops... unless you do what I do. I'm so glad you got your money!! What a filthy POS that woman is.
@@NikkiBeautyBuysi do the same. but once, the USPS employee told me to stop filming as i tried to hand it to her. grrr, so i went to a different USPS, tore open the package, and REPACKAGED it, in order to hand it over for a scan lol. the next time, i think i will probably scan it myself at the kiosk, bc i don't want to deal with USPS employees
I had a Jean Pierre top worth over $1000 I tried selling on ebay and got Multiple people purchase one after the other and NO ONE paid. I ended up getting to scared something would happen just like this and I sent it to The Real Real . They sold it for over $700 and It saved me so much stress and my pay was great with that. I dont think I would ever sell high end designer on Ebay.
I had a similar experience on Ebay. Sold a gold bracelet and the person purchasing was acting shady sending messages back and forth. I sent via registered mail and the buyer claimed she did not receive it later claimed her ebay account got hacked and her third excuse was that the item was not real. Always exercise caution because you never know with people this days.
I just started on eBay and have had scammers left and right. It’s bizarre. Lol thanks for the tips, I’m definitely going to do this for expensive items!

I take pics of every item I ship how I package it and what package 📦 it's in with the label. I learned a hard lesson to a long time ago when someone said they got their item damaged because I didn't properly wrap it, and I know I did. It was a mess. But I won't delete the pics until the transaction is complete. Sorry this happened to you.

Selling high dollar items makes me super nervous for many reasons. Scammers are a big reason but I also think people are much more critical and more likely to return when they’re spending a lot of money. I like selling items $50-$150.
Apparently she doesn't know it's against the law to open other peoples mail or packages. I've been thinking about re-selling but I don't have time to cuss people out over foolishness like this. Love your channel..keep up the good work😊
A similar thing just happened to me last week... Someone bought a dress and when they paid I had shipped it out the next day. It was shipping Ground advantage so it was going to take a few days to get to her. Literally the day after I shipped the dress they had put in a return request saying that I shipped the wrong dress, they sent blurry pictures of a random dress. I immediately called eBay and I told then that this person is trying to scam me because they haven't even received the dress. She kept messaging me saying that ebay wanted us to work it out....ya in the end she said she was just confused....so I'm not sure if she was truly confused or was trying to scam me, but I got my money so it worked out
The common scam is people trying to get you to send them pictures elsewhere, which when you do they'll tell you they need the google verification code to ensure YOUR not the scammer lol. Never give that code, even google tells you not to when they give it to you after requesting it. Once they get that code they have access to your google wallet. Smh :(

I'm sure you know this, but you tend to get what you expect, and I cringed when I heard you say "I am expecting my annual sinus infection to show up...AHHHH!!!! NO!!! Tell yourself something better! This year is going to be different, I am expecting to make it through this season happy and healthy or something like that. Thank you for sharing, yes people are getting more desperate and doing the most now with items. I also would say that its becoming easier to file police cases online if that ever becomes an issue. Also, did you block that user after that?
