No guitar solos really with one guitarist?? Wut? Cream, Jimi Hendrix Experience, RHCP, The Doors, SRV & Double Trouble and Led Zeppelin all had 1 guitarist lol.
Artistry Of An Evanescence Nah, he’s the “have a seizure on the floor and then kick the band members” For real though, watching fronk kill everybody on stage is so funny idk why
@@ernestoflores1057 so and justice for all doesnt exist for you? like wtf man why i see so many people say they suck after 3 albums, while ajfa is still thrash
greenmeatloaf I’m aware, I just rattled Billie Joe Armstrong off the top of my head. I could’ve said Kurt Cobain. I could’ve said Tom DeLonge. I could’ve said anyone. However Billie Joe Armstrong came to mind first.
I like the fact that my comment started a rift between Norwegians about which city or music scene (can't tell which they refer to, don't know any Norwegian) is better. Nice one boys!
dude I fkn know right, with all the "crabcore" shtuff happening I was wondering where the fuck it was. he did a great video but I think it might be been rushed cuz, well there are quite a few I think he missed
Look up 331Erock and watch his Dragonball Meets Metal video. He goes into the solo part of thru fire and flames, and its faster than the recorded version by dragonforce.
I play both, and like both(rhythm and lead) but its most of the time the rhythm guitarist that writes the bones of the song(licks, chord progression) which the lead guitarist (usually)plays over and in my experience the rhythm guitarist USUALLY writes the lyrics,I personally like the double lead, deep purple e.c.t.
Zacky is super talented when it comes to harmonics, but Syn shines when it comes to expressing some shreadable emotion. They are great match. A7X and Bullet are the two bands that lead me to Dimebag, Rhodes, Zakk Wylde... and "IMO" show more emotion in their music, than most. Today's guitarist are all about the perfect tone, crazy speed, and being technical, but lack that mind blowing aspect, but I digress.
1 Thrash Metal 2 Classic Rock 3 Deathcore or Doom Metal 4 Prog Metal or Rash Metal 5 Sounds like Doom Metal 6 Doom Metal 7 Metalcore 8 Black Metal, Mayhem specifically 9 Could be anything. 10 80s Dave Mustaine.
check yo self I probably said it wrong. What I'm trying to say was it's more like Jerry Cantrell and funny you didn't recognize it since your pic is AIC album. I'm a fan of Seattle scene also.
Yeah. I mean, the mic is too expensive. He should've used a burning potato. The studio is too much, you have to record it in a freezing cave at northern Finland. And, there's no dead guy. You have to kill one of the band members, hang him on a church rooftop, burn it, photograph the event, and slap it on an album cover. 3/5 furries, not trve enovgh. -IMN.
The contrast between "easy does it" and "low and slow" made "low and slow" sound really brutal. The whole thing reminds me of Black crown initiate which often utilise the same type of contrast :) Stench of the Iron age is an example of such a song for anyone interested!
How does one decide they're going to be only a rhythm or only a lead guitarist? Despite what position the band appoints you, don't you want to be all round versatile plugged or unplugged...just naturally?
mr42ndstblvd that's not true, sure there will be a lot of people who just want to do some garage jamming sort of deal, but anyone with decent musical ability and decent song writing skills (and a passion/dedication) can easily makes music that sounds more than just garage band stuff.
I feel for rhythm guitarists because they end up playing one of 3 riffs an entire song until their hands cramp and they get less recognition than the bass player xD it must be hard as fuck.
Honestly, I love rhythm! Although yes we are no better than drums, we too give the music some story or feeling to it. Drums give the pace, rhythm gives the back drop, lead tells when the story is getting good or exciting, and the singer tells it all.
+spottedstar1123 you can play a solo even if you're bad at guitar i mean a solo doesn't have to be fast as hell go listen to blood to bleed by rise against mate, the solo of this song is really easy to play but sound reaaly cool and i'm pretty sure you can play it ;)
Being Trve Kvlt means going out in the woods dressed as a warlord panda, wielding sharp fantasy axes & swords that has nothing to do with real weapons (thanks Abbath for the Blashyrkh's batman axe), raising both arms to the sky while doing orc sounds and... very important... playing black metal with untuned instruments and using a set of cooking pots instead of drums (Burzum and Darkthrone's seal of quality). It's all to create the correct "atmosphere" and it isn't BECAUSE the band members know nothing about music and had just five minutes to record at the studio due to their very low budget.
papu franku's senpai the 'Dance Dance Revolution' was my mate Josh. He was rhythm guitarist in my first band. Not long after our first album he died in a car accident. Bloody talented. Would have made it big.
