@Star Wolf 128 yeah as someone who loves both, a series having a few awesome games and vanishing forever is way better than a series continually producing worse and worse games until it's trash [even though I think Star Fox Zero is okay if you know you can press the - button to swap gamepad and tv screens back and forth instantly without having to look between the TV and gamepad over and over]

I think the prime reason it didn't sell is because, once again, NOBODY FUCKING HEARD ABOUT IT. Nowadays, you can get away without advertising your game (much), but back then, it was crucial for sales if you wanted to actually compete with the more popular games. This is exactly why those old amazing games like Psi-Ops and Timesplitters never sold well during their run. You know how I heard about Timesplitters? In a damn pawn shop.

You can play that game completely fine without spending nothing, I haven't paid and I won the main history.

@@GenesHand sure but its still in the game lol. You can play most games with micro transactions "just fine" without them but it doesn't make their presence any less of a problem.

Greencapps if it doesnt affect the game why shouldnt developers be able to make more money? its a free game there has to be some microtransaction system.

@@MichaelSmith-fq5yr The balance of the game is designed around you dying enough that you want to pay for a continue so even if some day they made a stand alone release it's balancing would be wack as a result. I'd also argue that just cause a game is free doesn't make it impossible for the games microtransactions to be predatory, see literally every gatcha game ever made ever. Also because they chose to make the progression tied to microtransactions this singleplayer game is now tied to a central server and will one day just dissapear once that server goes down. So yea I'd say that calling it annoying is an understatement. I get that most of this is the nature of free to play games and that Let It Die was kinda an experiment into that market but still doesn't make it any less appealing to me. I'd rather just buy a full game if I'm gonna play it. But perhaps I'm an anomaly because free to play does extremely well.

Astro boy Omega factor, incredible game incredibly expensive and hard to find.

@@michaelsriqui7898 That's just a lucky find. I haven't seen a copy anywhere that I can think of. I mean I'm sure GameStops had them and stuff but ever since that all went online I haven't seen one copy anywhere. Count yourself very lucky.

The saddest thing is Sega's output has dropped dramatically after the Xbox/GameCube/PS2 era. It's probably because they had a lot of games already in the works and had nowhere to put them after the Dreamcast died. Still compared to the first five years after they became a software company compared to the last 15 their output is microscopic.

It did. There are PAL versions of Shenmue II for Dreamcast and Xbox.

I remember that game. You get to be a badass Spartan warrior slaying Roman soldiers and mythological creatures. Way better than that devs recent games.

Genome Soldat I spent so much time in the Arena Mode just having random battles in the coliseum and other areas you could unlock during the game via random collectibles. The amount of people on screen and carnage were unreal for consoles at the time, shame it never got the attention it deserved.

3 never got an official english release (still to this day) also it had a sweet collection that included power stone 1&2 . Why has power stone 1&2 still not been put out anywhere else in the last 15 years?! unbelievable.

There are just way too many games stuck on consoles that have not been re-released. The Sega ones stuck on original Xbox are definitely some of the saddest.

Once again I'm just amazed none of these games have been re-released. I mean they just in the last year re-released that Japan only US president in a mech game from fromsoft. Maybe eventually we'll get an Otogi collection even if knowing our luck it's a switch exclusive.

@@JohnDoe-wq5eu Man im asking for that for long i even wrote to the Xbox director to at least make Otogi 1 and 2 playable on Xbox one X which would be enough for me as it improves resolution and framerate and maaaan i need that Performance boost for Otogi 2... game is so amped but also so laggy when everything starts to explode.
