Septa has pretty great pedestrian crossings I like that they utilize conventional traffic light pedestrian signals with a warning alarm and it’s also very nice to see the stainless steel GE series 7 silver liners are still in service
Unfortunately the classic GE inserts at Delaware Valley University were replaced unfortunately with new GE inserts Ambler also got new ped signals so the only pedestrian crossings that still has the classic GE inserts is in Warminster and North Wales Station most of the pedestrian crossings I see on SEPTA now is the newer GE Hand/Man Inserts
@@DanielElevators that’s rather unfortunate that the pedestrian signals were replaced on the other hand from what I know septa is still operating the general electric multiple unit electric I’ve seen videos taken from this year
@@DanielElevators that’s rather unfortunate that those signals no longer exist on the other hand septa is still operating the 1970s era general electric series 7 silver liner sets to this day

I agree with you this has to be one of the most annoying announcements I ever heard only a few pedestrian crossings had this the only ones that normally shuts off the message is in North Wales, and ambler but to be honest, it is really annoying
2:28 - Idiot woman cross the tracks when the stop hand is displayed. 7:00 - Idiot man cross on stop hand. 17:31 - Man almost crossed the track on stop hand. All of those crossings need bells.
