This would make a great series. Would love to see other titles/characters like X-Men, Hulk, etc. I would have included Strange Tales Annual 2 and probably put it in C tier. I would say ASM 3 could bump to S tier and first Scorpion, Rhino, Mysterio, and Black Cat to A tier, just personal opinion. Fun video!👍👍

I agree with most, a really good list! I’d challenge these listings: - Hobgoblin is B-tier NOT A - Doc Oc is S-tier NOT A - Carnage is B-tier NOT A - Marvel Team-Up is the 3rd series he appeared in, not the 2nd (Amazing Fantasy & Amazing Spider-Man) - #567 is D at best NOT B - Annual #16 could go as high as D but F isn’t wrong, it’s a solid key - #149 (clone Spider-Man) should be at D NOT at F - Black Cat will be A one day but I understand putting it at B currently and subjectively Great list, I’d also slap anything in the double digits under 50 that wasn’t mentioned around the “G-tier” :p

I would have put asm13 in A. Also, I would have made an S+ tier and had Af15 in that by itself. Great list, nonetheless, and fun video 👍

The death of Gwen Stacy is often used to mark the start of the Bronze Age, I would have put that one a little higher. I suppose it may be a little watered down now but at the time it was pretty shocking.

I love this new segment of the show!.You can do this with a ton of titles!.Although I disagree with Spidey #3,4,6 and 13 not going top tier..They are some of the greatest villains Ever!.Plus super early silver age numbers

Great list and well done..I agree on your s’s(I have collected all your s and a tiers except 129 so I concur and need that book). I would include asm 3 in the S tier bc of how early in asm it is and it’s 1st doc Oct who is so identifiable with Spiderman…In my opinion, although not crazy valuable, I think asm 50 is an S minus bc of the cover and story being so iconic …. AF 15 is in an entirely higher category as an S tier for all comics(hard to find at high quality, amazing cover, great story, and duh, 1st appearance of Spiderman! Fun and thanks for doing!

Hi and thanks for your these videos, always nice to watch, i'm a spidey collector living in Canada and have the previlage to own ASM series including amazing fantasy 15, i dont agree with 2 issues, first asm 13 in the B??? in my opinion if 1st Kraven is in A Mysterio should also be there and secondly asm 252 i would put it in C. Thank you very much Guys

I have always felt that ASM Annual #1was underrated as well as ASM #31. Both have classic Spider-Man art and features. ASM 31 has the most famous sequence of Spider-Man panels in the history of the comic that is featured in more than one of the movies along with the first appearance of Gwen Stacey and Harry Osborne.

I think ASM 39 should be B tier, 1st Romita Spidey cover, Green Goblin and Spidey unmasking...highly desired iconic cover.

The amount of legendary characters that came out of the mind of Stan Lee between 1961 and 1965 is just unbelievable. Not only the heroes but also the legendary villains. How did one man create so many timeless characters in so short a period of time ? 🤔

Not to discredit his creativity but this also was at a time when not as many characters has been created the field was level I think also his personality and how he brought you into the books like you were special played a big role in the acceptance of his creations you wanted him to succeed just as much as you wanted to read

This list will change quite a bit in 5 years. The market is so easy to influence with Spiderman books since he is the number one content creator in Marvel.

OMG… I own AF-15, ASM 1-52 plus misc silver/bronze and most all keys. It makes me ill to see ASM-129, ASM-252 and ASM-300 classified in the same category as AF-15 and ASM-1 and above all those silver age Ditko and Romita keys. I watch your show all the time. What were you smoking when you created this hilarious video.

Did you listen to the criteria he was using? He stated what it was based in. I understand the importance of those issues, I have many of them myself, but it wasn’t just about the early issues. It was about the importance of the issue, the desirability of the issue, the quick sales of the issue, so in other words, who’s buying up the issues & how fast they move. I’m sorry but, ASM 4 isn’t as fast a mover or as big of an issue in the cultural zeitgeist as ASM 300. It just isn’t.

It’s because the black suit arc is iconic and still talked about & known even to non comic book collectors, it’s an essential & popular story interpreted every time we get a spiderman show, video game, or movie , it gave Spidey a much needed refresh at the time and changed the landscape afterwards, the story is just too damn good and people resonate with it, Hell even Ps5 Spiderman 2 had a whole dedicated game to it. ASM 252 just has a lot of cultural value that will never be dismissed & continue to grow bigger.

Secrets is such a high seller though. 50 takes longer to move. I factor that in. It just isn’t the price or character

I would still say ASM 3 could be an “S” tier book due to the large impact of Doc Ock on the character & as a major villain. All that being said. Any chance we can get a Hulk video like this? Not as many keys but would like to see your take on that characters books everyone buys.

301 is better looking than 300. Gaudy is the 300 wording everywhere...too busy. 301 is beautiful. I agree with everything else basically.

Lots of keys to work through. Great vid. I would have put ASM 59 higher on the list. Cloak/Dagger and Silver Sable a bit lower. Bumped up 299 to E tier.

Great vid and good reasoning for your placements. Theirs a thing called the Mohs scale of hardness for minerals diamond is top at 10 and corundum is next at 9, however diamond is 4x harder than corundum. Thats a bit like AF15 being 4x better than the other top tier 😂👌, wish I had a copy but I've got kids so that's probably never going to happen 😂👍.
