If all 50 US states were to have one Mario Kart 8 Deluxe track in them, here's what it would be. Let me know what Mario Kart track best suits where you're from! Timestamps: 0:00 Intro
@@jeremymklinger,do you agree that GBA Sunset Wilds just like DS Waluigi Pinball STILL aren’t improved by including the Visual Sunset skybox Gimmick & the Missing Sound effect you normally would hear when drive between/beyond the Flippers?
This randomly popped up in my recommended and this is such a fun concept that was fun to watch! You've earned a new subscriber! As someone who lives in New Jersey, to get some explanation as to why it's referred to as "The Garden State" - There's still a lot of controversy whether or not that's what it should be called but the reason it is is because farming was (not sure if it still is) one of the top three most profitable forms of income here, absolutely massive amounts of land are actually dedicated to farming in spite of all of the cities as well, and we apparently have one of the largest varieties of crops in the entire country.
I’m really glad you enjoyed! And thanks for the explanation on New Jersey, I’ve only ever seen the portion by NYC, but I guess there’s a lot more to the state than Jersey City lol
@@jeremymklinger In the area I live in in particular there's actually a lot of huge farms nearby me. The cities are extremely populated but then the suburban areas there's a lot of huge pieces of land that are dedicated to farms and plants.
@@thechargedfoxie456yt2 I’ll agree on that, Nintendo missed a good chance to put the Wuhu Island race tracks on MK8, unless they’ll put them on Mario Kart 9, if that game will ever happen
Toad Harbor represents New York City Harbor because you got the city side and then you got the harbor with the boats and the Peach Statue representing the Statue of Liberty.
Probably valid, but I think sky garden fits jersey better, some other commenters said they live there and outside of the major cities, it’s mostly agricultural
What about UK Counties: Cumbria - Boo Lake, Tyne and Wear - Coconut Mall, Derbyshire - Alpine Pass, Greater Manchester - Moonview Highway, Merseyside - Riverside Park.
I think Neo Bowser City would be a better fit for Washington. Seattle gets ALOT of rain and the Cyberpunk theme kinda goes well with Seattle having tech companies like Microsoft and Amazon
As a Montanan, I can confirm that we race by hang gliders through the Rocky Mountains to a rock-and-roll tune whilst nearly getting crushed by boulders and narrowly avoiding pine trees.
Although, to be fair, Wario's Gold Mine would've been a *MUCH* better choice. We're called the Treasure State for a reason. Everyone moved to Montana during the gold rush to strike it rich. One of our biggest things is "last chance," because it was everyone's last chance to strike it rich, and they did.
@@jeremymklinger Lake Lanier which was made to power and give fresh water to Atlanta and other surrounding cities, was also built over a few drowned towns including one with a cemetery that they never moved before flooding it. The lake also has a history of drownings which is why I kinda figured Boo Lake would’ve been a really good track for Georgia.
As a Missourian, Riverside Park was a perfect fit due to both of the big rivers being in our state and also because of the amazing scenery in Southern Missouri. Choco Mountain being West Virginia was also perfect because of its mountainous Appalachian appearance and because the music sounds like it’s being played by West Virginian hillbillies
Glad a local to Missouri agrees with me on the choice! I thought I’d get some flack for West Virginia, every picture I used made those mountains look so luscious and full of natural beauty, and then choco mountain is desolate af lol, but I just meant bc they were more round and weathered down
Unfortunately as a Massachusetts man myself, daisy cruiser isn’t the best pick, any traffic course works because no one in this state can drive properly
I was full on ready for you to say toad harbor because of the city for New York. As someone from Upstate, you got the animal crossing map straight on man!
Was personally expecting either Moonview Highway or Toad's Turnpike, or maybe Electrodome (it's the city that never sleeps). But I like how the video displays New York as a whole, not just its big city.
I'm from Wisconsin, and I hard disagree with cheese land. Ice Ice outpost is EXACTLY how it feels to drive in Green Bay or Milwaukee during the winter months
4:15 but what if daisy cruiser was actually in lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg, which is in massachusetts and is the longest name of a lake in the world?
I would say Waluigi Pinball makes sense for Nevada as pinball is a game in Vegas. You also said mariokart so I thought Louisiana could be Luigi's Mansion because it kinda looks like a swamp, but it's not in mariokart 8.
100% agree for Louisiana, wish I could’ve used Luigi’s mansion that’s a great pick. Waluigi pinball was the first one that came to mind for Nevada, but I liked the night rave looking track a bit better
As a Vermonter I was disappointed when you assigned Mount Wario to Colorado because Vermont has ski resorts, but you redeemed yourself when you instead assigned us Maple Treeways. One of my favorite recreational tracks from Mario Kart Wii.
@@jeremymklinger Lol. Yeah we're referred to as Vermonters. The nature is nice and like you may know we produce more maple syrup than any other state. If we see any pretend maple syrup brands, we make sure every Vermonter on social media knows so we can avoid it. Haha.
Little surprised you gave Michigan Sweet Sweet Canyon and sweet right to the water there, smh. I would’ve given Michigan Water Park as there are a few water parks in Michigan where I live
i probsbly woulda put animal crossing (4 seasons in 15 minutes) or sweet sweet canyon (shitty water and high-ass pbesiry rate, to my knowledge highest or one of the highest in the country) for west virginia but i like choco mountain tho
As an Arkansasan I had no clue we had Waterfalls here. We are famous for our Hot Springs so famous in fact they named a City Hot Springs. I will give you Diamonds our flag is literally in the shape of one.
Florida is inaccurate. It should have been Neo Bowser City. Edit: Wait I just started watching the video and you said no city courses. Another edit: Oh nevermind lmao Another another edit: Bruh new york should have been Toad Harbor
Proud of the most expensive road, by far, in the entire world? Costs on average $113 to cross from Ohio - NJ for non-discount passengers cars. Thats absolutely insanity and greed. As a Pennsylvanian it disgusts me
The Indiana track is perfect. It's not a difficult track and there aren't any crazy obstacles. A standard race track that often gets forgotten. That's Indiana.
I live in MA, and I'm in a pretty damn natural area, but I'd say that either GBA Mario Circuit or maybe 3DS Wuhu Town for a battle course. Possibly Toad Harbor or, hell, New York Minute.
As someone from Kansas I’m so glad that we got the best track in the history of Mario kart as the track! I didn’t even think of the state motto but that’s awesome lol
As a Floridian, I can agree that no one comes here to see the swamp (except for Disney World), it's our beaches! It's also interesting that you choose Cheep Cheep Beach, as it reminds me of Daytona Beach, which NASCAR raced on the actual beach for a time.
As a west virginian i do think choco mountain fits but if it was in mario kart 8 i wouldve chosen 3DS maka wuhu Plus maka wuhi and wuhu loop are 2 of my favorite tracks aside from 3DS rainbow road
2:39 Not only that, but Chicago is known to be the rail capital of the US, if you're going From the east Coast to the west coast by train, you're going through Chicago. Chicago is also home to Metra which has 9 lines(technically 13 if you count branch lines)and is the 4th busiest commuter rail system in the us. Chicago also has the underground pedway tunnels and Up until the 1950s , Chicago also had an underground freight subway system
As a Massachusetts native, I can confirm that Daisy Cruiser also represents the famous duck boats in the Charles River, as well as the USS Constitution.
Should I or should I not find the fact that you put Utah next to BABY PARK insulting. I don't even live in Utah but just why. You could have made a track that fit Salt Lake City or the fact that it is the most beautiful state in my opinion. High mountains and snow from Colorado, beautiful canyons from Arizona, a bit of a flat desert from Nevada, the green forests from Wyoming, and the vast hill-like landscape of Idaho. Just saying that you did Utah dirty.
I'm from Michigan and I don't understand the track choice for us at all? Is it soley based on the Flint water crisis that happened years ago? That's really the best you can do? That's somehow worse than all the Detroit sterotypes, holy shit. I didn't know a lack of effort and understanding like this could be achieved
Michigan literally has the largest freshwater supply in the world. Why’d you give us the track with weird water? 😭 Animal Crossing would’ve been a better choice.
I live in Mississippi and it's ironic how you made my fav course Mississippi's official state lol. And as a Mississippian, yeah, I agree that it rains a lot down here.
It's not a state, but I'd do Royal Raceway for Washington DC. Washington is the capital of the U.S.A., and Toad Town is the capital of the Mushroom Kingdom, so it works out.
