i may inform you guys the fact that Pupeteer can (only) heal 0.25 dmg too tho it's a bit useless since he can only use his puppet like twice kiting Joseph
@bea You can do the same thing even at the start of the game. If you hear magical sparkle sounds, that's a Geisha. If you hear iron crushing sounds, it's a Smiley. If you hear the rocks moving against the ground, it's Sculptor. I'm not sure about this one but sometimes I can hear my injured teammates. However, because I can only hear them only when they're close to me, I can't tell how this will be useful.
Yeah when i was healing gardener she thought she was fully healed and started running to rescue then i chased her trying to get her attention by placing stickers but she died Xd
Same, also, unless there was someone Who Can heal 0'25 damage, you shouldnt rescue from the photo world if your teammate is at full health I had so many teammates killing themselves by rescuing their copies
Joseph seriously demands communication. Some of this just makes you look like a jerk if the other person doesn't understand why you do it that way... Forever flashbacks of that one time a batter had to go rescue against Joseph at 25% damage despite me spamming, "Don't move I'm coming!" Sudhdhsh
I would like to add another tip: If Mercenary gets 1 hit, enters the delayed hit period, and Camera World is activated during this period (after Mercenary receives half damage, before he receives full hit), do not heal him in real world. The moment Camera World is activated, he will be considered as at half-health and this will be his mirror image's health. Healing him in the real world will make his real self's health 0.25 damage, while his mirror is still at 0.5. Damage projection after the Camera World collapses will make Mercenary's health 0.375 damage and make him one-shot the entire game. To deal with this, you can wait until the next Camera World activation to do the (0.25+0.75)/2 = 0.5 trick, since this time Mercenary's mirror will be at 0.75 damage. Some variation: - Camera World is activated before Mercenary's delayed hit reaches 0.5: His mirror will be at full health, so healing his real self does not do much, as no damage projection will occur. Deal with this situation just like above. - Camera World is activated after Mercenary's delayed hit reaches 0.5, but during the Camera World, someone is chaired: Generally, since Mercenary is currently injured, he should not be the one going to rescue, but you can trade off his knockdown with cipher rush. Heal his real self to 0.25 damage. Thanks to his delayed effect, he won't be one-shot (though he'll still undergo delayed knockdown once being hit) and can go for the rescue. If his Tide Turner wasn't used yet, he can bodyblock to prevent a double knockdown (since he'll be knocked down anyway after 20 seconds of Tide Turner). Doing this can save some time healing Mercenary as his health is "reset" (from unhealable 0.75/0.25 to healable 1)
@@wen8939 you can follow this guideline: when Camera World is activated, look closely at the real's and the mirror's health. Their average (you can kinda estimate) will be the final health after Camera World collapses. If you think this average can become 0.5 by healing the real one, heal them. If not, leave them.
As a Joseph main I keep seeing so many survs doing the wrong way and it pains and satisfy me But when you’re the survivor with that guy who doesn’t know *PAIN*
Which is how we got Photographers chasing Mercenaries during the Old Seasons, if they kill Merc they'd say "see, he counters Merc" if they don't they'll Blame the Game... ...it was quite astonishing if I do say so myself.
I agree more folks need to know how to handle Jo’s healing but I hardly think rank has anything to do with it. Seeing as many are smurf accounts and it’s typical for beginners to not know. Some don’t even play rank but it doesn’t mean they don’t know how to do this. It’s merely a matter of learning and communication and practice. Nice vid btw. Explained it in a simple way so beginners probably can get a better understanding. I remember how confusing he used to be for me when he was still new. There are still plenty players who have been playing a while that probably are also still confused.
it would waste more time no? If you go to heal her mirror body, you then have to heal her real self fully meaning less time to decode. You also need to find her mirror image, then find her in real life. Instead why not just do it all in one go?
I think it depends on the situation If there is still a lot of time (as in video) until the end of the photo world, and the copy of the priestess is not far away, then one of you can heal her, and the other can decode. Joseph is one of the OP Hunters if used by Pros. Not only it's complicated to go up against him, he can counter cipher rush and also hit Survs indirectly by going to the Camera World. This grandpa is insane to go up against if you are not careful.
Hes op in low tier and low tier only solely because low tiers cant kite (which is normal, thats why they are stuck in like mammoth) and counter him. He relies on luck and gets eaten alive some matches in higher tiers even if the photo is good.
There are so many tips I can give about healing and different scenarios and when to do it but this comment would be very long... this video showed some of the most important and common ones and jts nice to have this so it can help newbies counter joseph
as a photo main i know this trick as survivor but some survivors even at griffin tier don’t know this!! i asked for a heal from this priest, i already interrupted the healing progress when it’s at 90% but she came to me and healed me again fully! 😭 and then i stuck with 25% damage

I played Identity V for a while, but never paid attention to my gaming strategy (which I don’t have at all. And, with all those years of playing, I look like a new player). Great video! I’m quite aware of this trick, but I’m so surprised many survivors don’t realise it. I’m so sick and tired of survivors healing me when I’m at 25% health and the camera world is NOT up, and I’m like “bruh, you know he can still one shot me right?”

I did this to a teammate in qm, healed about 98%, and they kept spamming me to help them and spammed thank you, i finished healing once photo world ended they were high tier griffin and i was hound qq im surprised people havent learned this yet but im glad its out there !!!

Oi actually sometimes you really gotta heal them fully b4 the camera world ends so that survivor could go for rescue or anything like that and by that time you would have to heal their in photo world image but yeah in fact this is all up to case sometimes you better do like that at some other cases otherwise 🤷♂️ and that’s really cool that you decided to bring up this topic

it depends a lot, if at that time when the photoworld has just opened and someone got knocked down in the real world and the whole team are in bad state then you have no other choices than to fully heal whoever can be healed to the point they can take 1 hit from joseph. Well if u choose to save 51% or to sacrifice that teammate then just take your time.
If youre a rescuer (or any other character! but its a strategy so rescuers cant rescue) and photo hits you just one time in photoworld and then searches for someone else you could go into photoworld and heal your clone so it has only 25% left and after photoworld ends you will have something around 10% which will definitely allow you to rescue! Saw this a lot with cordis in griffin and some didnt know how important it is to heal themselves up when this happens. Also to every low tier perfumer: you can perfume back your damage when photoworld ends, as long as youre not chaired you will end up with 100% health again :) Perfume like 3 sec before photoworld ends and then back after it collapses. Its important cause she hardcounters him only at full health!
U can just heal the miror image as well when it comes to the first case. 🤷♂️ Me as a photographer main knowing how to counter him while my team mates try to heal me in the wrong time
Or you can heal the mirror image too while you’re at it, when its half damage at least, so you don’t need to get hit down when Joseph pops outta nowhere 🤷🏻

Everytime I play as Jojo I see people doing it the correct way and even coming up with strategies that destroy my gameplay. However, when I'm playing surv, they just yeet all their knowledge out of the window 😭 decode next to cameras, try to do loops, even going into the photo world to run around. It's the Jojo curse.
I've had people get so rude bc I don't heal them w 75% when photo hasn't taken a picture yet;; or run off when I try and heal their 75% when he does! it pains me as a photo main
That's why when I play rank with friends I told them to use doctor at every match we are afraid if there's photography and we all just ban hell ember he literally can camping all map 😀
