No Sell should be in S-Tier, even though it only has 3 charges the amount of times this perk saved my life AND especially the amount of times I got huge value out of this perk against a bubba is crazy. Perk is srsly one of the best in the game.

the grappler perk is actually really insane if you ahave a max strenght and use it at level 3 you can win a closer encounter in less than 3 seconds, it makes clouse encounters way more safe
Very good to know!! I didn't realize when making the tier list that it would shorten the window for how long close encounters take. Definitely a perk I may reconsider :)
The thing about grappler is that you will win the grappler even though you’re below 40 hp, BUT it reduces grapple risk, as it allows you to win it faster, hopefully faster than it would take for another family member to get you
Generally I agree that the perks that just increase base stats are just meh, but I think some are a lot better than others like proficiency, endurance and stealth can generally be decent in a lot of builds.

I think my favorite thing about TCM and it’s perks is the fact that they’re al niche, but the game is full of so many niche scenarios and situations that they almost always work per game, its such a breath of fresh air
I always come to this video to get responses about perks xD, soooo... Rally Leader (39:30) the perk buffs the action of survivors recovering, or the action of you going to a survivor and helping them get on their feet (I just discovered this is a thing)
I need to do some testing and revisit this! I initially believed the perk was referring to the action going to a victim and helping them to get back on their feet. I honestly need to do some more testing so that I can get a solid understanding of exactly how the perk functions! Thanks for the comment!!
@@fallenryan No problem! Either way I don't think the perk is so useful even if it's the first case and not the second one, maybe adding another effect like being able to have other survivors hightlighted when they jump down a well would make it better, like down the rabbit hole but for victims
okay no sell in A instead of S-Tier is whatever even though I disagree with that, I can see where ur coming from, HOWEVER: WHAT DOESNT KILL YOU IN B-Tier??????????????????????????????????????????? Dude What doesnt Kill you is an even better perk than no sell xd Its by far the most consistent perks in the entire game because the perk is active the WHOLE match, gives you value EVERY game unless you get 2 shot-combo'ed by a leatherface which is impossible if ur running no sell and you should because that perk is nuts aswell, and its (what doesnt kill you) effect is extremely powerful especially against the most dangerous family members in the game (like bubba with his empowered attack)..... Its close but I rlly do think its even better than no sell overall, not to mention the synergy between these 2 perks is probly the best 2 perk combo in the game and it definitley is EASILY one of the best perks in the game even on its own.... rlly messed up there with the ranking imo.
by the way its also possible to GAIN health with what doesnt kill you and I am not talking about just regaining the health u lost I talking about literally making more health back than you lost and that is possible with ana's ability Pain is Nothing but also on every victim in the game with the nutty 2 perk combo I mentioned above with No Sell. If you jump out a window or down a well and then get hit by a leatherface but only once and u have no sell and what doesnt kill you, you will heal back more health than you lost if you still had a stack of no sell left and you dont take more than 1 hit from leatherface. It sounds very situational but the amount of times, especially with ana that I literally healed back to full with what doesnt kill you is large. And it didnt even need to do that in order for it to be a amazing perk but no it also is capable of literally healing you. Perk is pretty good.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this!! ^.^ So the only reason I decided not to put No Sell in the S tier was just because of the limited number of charges, but honestly I could see this perk being in S tier! The reason I decided to place What Doesn't Kill you in the B tier was due to the fact that it will not stack with multiple hits. So for instance, if the cook hit you twice before you were able to get away, you will only regain the health from the last hit you received. Additionally, it is much less useful against a family member like Leatherface who is able to knock you down with a heated chainsaw and directly execute you from there due to the stun lock, whereas No Sell would keep you protected and free from an instant execution against a Leatherface using this strategy. With all of that said, I could absolutely be wrong about this perk!! I'll spend some more time with it and maybe my feelings on it will change!! Truly thank you for the feedback, I love hearing your thoughts on this and I think I did probably miss the bar on this perk a little bit!! : )

@@fallenryan it’s awesome! Especially when you’re versing a Cook. They like to padlock the 3 doors to the exterior. Can’t keep me out if I just jump out the window using Stunt Double. 😈 I like to pair it with Extra Drip (which I’m glad you gave a proper rating to! It’s so underrated)

Note: Dead weight doesn't apply to the terr radius you see, when you're the last one alive and if gramps isn't tier 5, the family will get a yellow screen when gramps screams and they're close to you. It reduces the range for that but it's still bad tho lol. 😂
@@Christian-my1ot yeah but in soloq that build is pointless because everyone is doing their own thing. i would say that if the exclusive healing perks were available to Sonnie as well it would've been much better because he can track allies to heal them.

Well done video, the only thing i do disagree with is what doesnt kill you perk on B tier. As health items become difficult to find later in the game, all it takes is going down the well and getting one hit and you can recover a tremedous amout of health without having to search for a health bottle. Personally i would put it on S tier, but everything else looks good.

Bomb squad in B tier is ridiculous. One or two bomb squads on one team and it renders hitchhikers ability completly useless. One of the most overpowered perks, both in theory and in practice. Counterpicking one family member in particular is bad game design.
I agree that in the perfect situation Bomb Squad is an excellent perk! For this tier list I was more in the mindset of a perks overall usage for any situation or match, and with some matches not having hitchhiker on the team brought it down for sure!! I hear you though, it’s an excellent counter.
@fallenryan Lets be honest, hitchhiker is in practically every match due to sissy and johhny being in a bad state. It makes Fusebox and Valve exits even easier, if they werent already overpowered enough.
Interesting question! I'm not sure due to the fact that Grappler makes button taps 50% more effective, but I'm not sure if there is a min/max amount of time for a close encounter when you're in it - or if the close encounter is always the same duration. I would love to test this!
@@fallenryanplease do that would be awesome to know. I'm like 90% sure that it makes the encounter super fast even though the discription doesn't lead you to that conclusion lol. All in all a great video! I do think what doesn't kill you is s tier on most builds namely because it is an amazing counter to Bubba. And it procks when you've been incapacitated at a well!

Putting pre nerf tae kwon door in bottom A is criminal. Family couldnt basically couldnt play the game and gave victim more than enough time to complete task or hide and heal.
I take offense to Rally Leader being in F, pair it with lvl 50 toughness and when you get 1 shot through the tables and wells by leatherface and other family members you can get up in 2 seconds
I totally hear you! The big thing is that this perk is very circumstantial and you won't be getting constant value out of it compared to a lot of perks. In my mind what makes a good perk is something that will support you consistently throughout your match, and not something that you might get value out of every once in a while. I will say when this perk works it does its job well, but I just don't see consistent value from the perk. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this ^.^

Is Overlooked any good at all? For me it doesn't work, it won't cover your entire duration while you move during granpa sonar, 1 charge 1 second in my experience, and it only has 4 charges in Level 3, I don't think it's useful at all, or was it bug?

Only Ana and Julie have it but it’s definitely up there in top tier perks right now because you literally have 0 blood loss and don’t have to worry bout incapacitating until family members hit you or you hit a hh or sissy trap

It depends on what kind of playstyle you're going for and if you have communications with your teammates. I personally think Pick On Me may be a better choice due to the fact that it will highlight gates as well, giving it more utility. If you're looking for longer lasting highlights and you don't plan on doing many gate escapes, Exit Strategy will be the way to go. Hope you find this helpful!!
most perks are just trash compared to the top tier ones i always see the same few perks rightfully so most of the other perks are just not worth it i find it also funny how they nerf 2 perks that no one uses lol
Must Have Been The Wind consumes a charge for each button press that would have made noise. Overlooked has a similar function, it’s not every time Grandpa screams, but rather about every 0.5 seconds a charge is consumed. I find their applications to be severely limited and would place them lower on the tier list due to how little they help versus the concept of how they could help.
This is an interesting point, thank you for bringing this up. As time goes on and we play more with all the perks, I’m sure my opinion and tier list will change - especially with perks such as these. And I didn’t know that information about overlooked, thank you for sharing that!! :)
