Will we ever get a higher quality version of this video? I've been watching the same POS version since I ripped it from punkrockvids or videopimp 20 years ago.
You guys are crazy if you think their new stuff is no good. The production has improved no end and the sound balancing is much better. The songs themselves have fantastic lyrics and some awesome hooks. Every song has standout moments for each instrument. Personally I like seeing bands develop their style. Listening to the evolution of sound through a number of albums is incredible. Only 5 days until the next album release...
this is what i wish ETID sounded like now. They were so good back in 2000 2001 i dont know where their sound went but it went way down! Hot damn is as far as i will go with ETID. I HAVE A VERY EXPENSIVE PEN!!!!!!
@@HomelessWoodpecker So it was basically two tours booked on the same night and was kinda a mini fest. There were like 9 bands that played but I can only remember ETID, Nodes of Ranvier, and Norma Jean (who headlined) off the top of my head. This was right after Josh Scogins left NJ when Bless the Martyr was huge and I think Brad was singing for them, but he was sick so one of the guitar players (Scotty maybe?) got on the mic and was just like "We don't have a singer tonight so if you know the words grab the mic." Ally from Bloodlined Calligraphy was there and sang. And of course everyone knew ETID was filming a video so the crowd was extra nuts.
ok I gotta jump in here... ETID is pure fucking genius, and I doubt that any fan of Children of Bodom has the mental capacity to even begin to fathom the intricacies of ETID's full on aural assault. That being said, I can see why fans of children of bodom come here to post negative comments, and if I was a mindless simpleton who lived in their mom's basement polishing my spikes and sewing ever larger and larger bondage pants I would probably do the same. PEOPLE HATE WHAT THEY CANNOT UNDERSTAND
i agree with what everyones saying here, seeing this video is the first time i've seen/heard this band and i can say this is fucking savage. love it! people who say its worthless dont understand music.
I think this type of music, or somewhere around this genre, is the closet you'll come nowadays to classical. I'm an avid viola player and I listen to a ton of classical music, and I also love this... this is amazing music when you analyze it
Saw these last night :D Never listened to them before, now however, I FUCKING LOVE THEM! I was moshing with vocalist when gallows was playing aswell :) Nice lad.
@conducting4rmthgrave agreed. they arnt chaotic hardcore anymore. same with norma jean, they've changed but, you cant blame them. things happen, times change, so do lineups lol, and also, music is about evolution, not revolution. lets face it. they found their sound.. but hey, i agree. i mean, i just just saw them tonight they didnt play this song the last few time si saw them.. and they still didnt... and people were crying out for it... baaaahhhhhhhh

Yeah he wrote this song swilling beer in an icy cold car waiting for class to start. He was watching business men walk down the road, fixing their hair, chatting on cell phones, blabbing about profit reports and such. So this song is about how superficial and inhuman businesses have become.
@G1837 ok, well, lets settle down about labels. this is hardcore as far as people who are still activ eint he scene. im sure ppl were were around with black flag was around dont go to many shows now, so to us young guns, us new jacks, us fuckers here, this is original to us
last night in town... God i wish they woulda stuck with this sound. hot damn wasnt too bad either, but this will always be the only album i continually go back to for ETID.. not a huge fan of anything after hot damn tbh. god this song is killer.
Because apparently power metal is the only "real metal" huh? Maybe you should broaden your horizons a bit. The metal genre covers a lot of heavy music. These guys aren't any more "posers" than your beloved Firewind
Wow... again.. im not impressed... im sorry... I am a REAL metal head... im an officianato of metal and this is basicly the only genre I am slowly starting to despise... hardcore just bites and this is slowly following the lemmings down the cliff....
